Page does not update even if I hold shift while I click update or press F5

In any other web browser the shift + F5 reload all contents of a updated page. Only in Firefox this does not work.
I love Firefox, the best browser for me. But I can't continue to use it with this problem.
I am a software developer. I need control over tools and it's make me crazy.
All my friends told me the same problem about Firefox and have migrated to others browsers where this basic problem does not work.
If you want to maintain Firefox at top, make it always work at least with basic features like that!

I have tested Ctrl + F5, Ctrl + Shift + F5, Ctrl + Shift + R.
Nothing work.

Hi Jaap,
Are you sure about your FTP credentials (FTP folder and site URL) that you are using for the upload? Are you able to see the updated files in the remote directory of the FTP server, after you finish uploading the muse file, using an external FTP client like FileZilla?

Blog Summary Page Does Not Update Picture

For some reason, when I create a new blog entry by duplicating the last one and adding new content, the Blog Summary page will not update the picture. I sometimes either have to create a new blank blog entry, or drag a different picture into the placeholder, followed by my original.
Is this happening to anyone else? I think I am going to finish out my year-long blog project with iWeb/MobileMe, then drop both! This is getting to frustrating.

A wise move — problems with iWeb's blog are a recurring theme on these forums: Lost all blog entries or all comments or unable to publish, etc. If you switch to a dedicated blogging platform you're likely to have a better experience. Pages does not update

The current (31 Dec 2013) version of Pages is 5.01, my MacBook has version 4.3. The App Store does not show any update and says for Pages "Installed".
How can I update to the current version?

Problem solved: New version is in the Application folder, but Dock referred to old version.

Color for published page does not update

I built a web site in 2009.
I have just made changes to it in 2011.
I added 3 new pages, updated a few others.
I publish the site changes. Or I publish the entire site. Do each to MobileMe.
The updated pages colors turn from red to blue.
Then I want to keep a folder of the site, so I choose publish to a folder.
At this point, the updated pages turn red again.

When I choose publish to MobileMe again,
without making any changes,
the same pages turn to red again as if they were changed.
And the same thing if I choose publish to a folder.
Why do they change? How can I fix this?

Yes I understand that.
But after it has been published once for each way and then I don't make any changes, they should not turn red and need to be published again. They should stay blue if I don't make any changes. Even if I switch the publishing mode.
I publish just the changes, then I publish the whole site. I send both to MobileMe. Then I switch modes. I publish changes and then the whole site to a folder. Everything is blue. Then if I switch back to publish to MobileMe, the few pages turn red again, after they had been completely blue after publishing them the first time. I don't think that should be happening. It acts like something is stuck.

Home page does not update correctly

Can anyone help me? I have searched this forum and tried suggestions from the support site, but nothing has helped. Here is my problem:
I am using iWeb '08 and posting to MobileMe. I add entries and/or make changes to existing pages and then publish them. When I check my site, my home page is an old one. I can navigate to my updated pages and then when I return to my home page it is correct.
Any ideas on how to fix this for my computer and anyone else looking at my site?

Empty the cache in your browser. The old pages are on your drive, and you need to have an empty cache folder so that your browser will download new copies of your pages.

ITunes help page does not load

Ever since updating to iTunes 10, the help page does not load. It's blank. If I click the home menu, I can switch to another app's help page just fine, but when I switch back to iTunes, it's blank.
Also, if I enter a search term on the blank help page, it willreturn hits, but when I click on them, I again am left with a blank screen.
BTW, the gear menu is a sticky menu (one click and it stays down) but the home menu I have to hold the mouse down. Not sure if that's normal behavior, but I thought I'd throw that out there too, just in case it's helpful.

It happens the same to me. But also when click in the topic link a warning shows up telling me I need internet connection to view that help topic.
Of course I'm online and my connection works pretty well.
I tried rebuild help files with Onyx but no help.
Anyone resolved this issue?

Paged dataset does not update it's child dataset

My paged dataset works great, except on refreshing it's child
dataset, when sorting or navigating from page to page.
Clicking on the record in the paged dataset does return the
correct child dataset record. Clicking on any of the column headers
to sort the paged dataset or clicking on any of the page functions,
i.e. Next Page, Previous page, does not update the child dataset
record.
The first record of the paged dataset is set to 'selected',
after sort or page navigation function.
What am I missing?

You shouldn't have to do the manual setting of the
currentRow. The fact that your code snippet here:

Has your PagedView data set pvPOrders depending on dsPOrders
means that when you set the current row on pvPOrders it just
forwards the set request on to dsPOrders.
I'm a bit confused by the other snippet you posted here:

All websites does not load, even though internet connection is available.

I am currently experiencing a problem in using my browser. Nothing appears in the browser window or the page does not load even if I typed the website address (and any website address for that matter). And we do have an active internet connection. Hi Roland!
First of all, your Firefox version isn't the latest one (current version is 3.6.3), so a good thing to try would be getting the latest version from [http://www.getfirefox.com/ GetFirefox.com] and install that, replacing your current version 3.5.9. Here I assume that you have another working browser from which you can download the file.
This may not solve the problem (...but then again, it just might).
If it makes no difference, we have some excellent guides to help identify and solve the problem.
[[Error loading web sites]] is the best starting point and links to most of the other problem solving articles - please start out here and see if any of the articles can help you fix it.
[[Firefox cannot load websites but other programs can]] is one of the more likely problem crunching articles from your description.

Sale Quotation Formatted Search displays correctly but does not update OQUT

I have a formatted search, intended to show a deposit amount of 50% for the document total, and refresh whenever the doc total changes. It displays correctly on the Quote header screen UDF area, but OQUT does not update. Pressing Shift-F2 returns 'internal error'. The first time the Quote is entered the right value gets in OQUT, but never gets updated after that.
The UDF is OQUT.U_Deposit. The formatted search query is:
Select ($[$33.88.number]*.05) and it is set to refresh reglaurly when Document Total changes.

The screen variable for
Document Total $[$29.0.Number]
Total Before Discount $[$22.0.Number]
Also I notice for 50% you have used .05 which is actually 5%
Try this query
SELECT ($[$-29.0.Number]*0.5)
The minus is needed since it is a UDF on the header which is a seperate window.

Since the latest update to OX I have been unable to download the contents of some emails because pages does not support the font they are created in. Is there a fix for this?

Hi, since I installed the latest update on my Mac I have been unable to open the contents of some emails because it is saying that pages does not recognise the font. For example it is saying 'some features aren't supported, the font Calibri isn't available on OS X. It was replaced with TrebuchetMS' This means that I cannot open letters from my daughters school. Is there any way round this other than getting rid of this nightmare MAC and going back to Windows!?

Printing only odd/even numbered pages does not work

I've got following problem: Printing only odd/even numbered pages does not work. Not in Preview, nor Adobe Reader. I Don't know why. i'm using a hp Color LaserJet 2550L. I just worked fine, but I cannot remember the time this failing first occured. I really hope the problem will be solved quick and easy.

Mine does not work either. I have trashed prefs, rewrote permissions, ran Disk Utility from a separate HD, etc. and I cannot get this feature to work.
I got 45 odd pages to print last night and now it won't print odd or even pages. I am reduced to printing every backside page one at a time. If I would have known about this problem before I could have saved myself an hour and just printed them all on single sided sheets. I tried to save paper and now I'm screwed (timewise)......
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pages does not open anymore after the latest update

I did all suggested problem solving steps, but after the last update Pages does not open anymore.
It opens a window and immediately crashes again.
I paid for it, and I used it for my business - and I'm so angry, that there is no support for apps in fact...

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Turn off iCloud for Pages on your mobile device at Settings > Pages > Use iCloud > Off.
Open Pages on your computer and move any documents in iCloud to your desktop for safe keeping.
Navigate to system preferences > iCloud > Manage and check that Pages documents are not taking any space in the cloud, delete them if they are.
Enable iCloud syncing for Pages on your mobile device and launch the App.
If Pages now opens properly, start to add back documents from your desktop one at a time (or in small groups if you have many).
