Page imposition? Paginate? HELP!
I made a simple, half-page (8.5 x 5.5) booklet in InDesign CS3, exported it to PDF and took it to Staples (because I can get a discount there) but, it will not print correctly AT ALL. I don't know if it has anything to do with working with newer software then they have or going from Mac to PC but, they don't have InDesign so, yeah. No "Print Booklet" for me. I realize this has probably been covered here before but, everything I can find on the subject seems overly complicated and, honestly, over my head. I am not looking to learn everything there is to know about printing, I just thought if I made a booklet in InDesign and exported it to PDF they would be able to just print it!?
So, what is the simplest way to do this? Do I REALLY need to export and re-order the pages?
Is there some way I can tell InDesign to merge the pages or..??? This seems over complicated.

P.S. - Before someone refers me to bookletcreator.com, my book is too big at 50mb.
Use print booklet and print to PDF or search the forum for the other 100
or so threads on this subject which will link you to various scripts.
That said, you might consider a different printshop for this project.

I can still receive icloud ( ME email address) emails fine. I have not changed my settings at all. I have however tried all the settings I can find on the support pages. PLEASE HELP. Nothing has changed. This suddenly just started happening around a month ago. To frustrate me apple does not seem to have a support email or any method to contact them with this issue to do with their email product. Can anyone help? It is driving me mad and causing me major issues. My outlook is Outlook 2010 on a windows 8 PC. As I have said it worked fine then one day decided to stop sending emails.

SOMETHING GONE AWRY WITH A BUNCH OF GIFS ON MY PAGE. PLEASE HELP ME.
Please, this is a situation which has me nervous. A friend sent me one of those funny GIF things. It is about six different cat faces and the cats move in different ways depending on what kind of music it is.
I tried to get these GIFs onto my iWeb webpages. I had a difficult time, published one cat face and saw it on Safari on my website. It was a cat with a head bouncing to be bop music. Then I tried to upload all the other cat heads. I botched the job because it ended up with about six of them piling up on each other. Anyhow, I had a bunch of these square windows of cat faces with different kinds of earphones and I thought to myself, "Heh, wouldn't it be funny to see what THAT looks like on a webpage," and I hit the publish button.
As i could see the progres bar advancing I got to thinking how this could muck up my website (I am a neophyte), so I hit the Cancel button. After that, I deleted the page upon which all those GIFs of cats faces bobbing up and down had been placed. I thought that that was the end of it.
Then I went to my email to do something else. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I could see movement and I realized that it was that notification saying that my page had been published. SO apparently I had not cancelled that page after all. I clicked onto the Visit Me Now button and saw up in the Navbar, a page titled BLANK. The page had bobbing cat head GIFs strewn all over it and I panicked. I closed Safari, went to iWeb to see if I could really get rid of those cat GIFs.
The bottomest line is that I had already deleted that page! How would the cats still be dancing on that blank page if I deleted it? I checked all my other pages and they are OK. How on earth could those dancing cat GIFs be bouncing around on my Safari website when they are nowhere to be found on my iWeb pages?
Please, help me figure this out because I am not comfortable knowing that a whole bunch of GIFs are on my Safari website, maybe screwing everything up by whatever GIFs might be able to do if there were enough of them on a page. Sort of like overload, too any appliances plugged into the wall, etc.
I am nervous, and although this could seem funny on the outside, here in my place it is nerve wracking.

I had earlier hit the Clear cache button, but apparently I had to hit it about 10 more times plus go to sites outside of the website. I left to do something else and now that I checked my website on Safari, that Blank Page is not there and the GIFs are gone.
I'm glad that's over.

I follwed all the instructions on manuals for both iPAD and iTunes re syncing, but after physically connecting iPAD with iMac with USB or via WiFi I still cannot find "phone button" under Device name on iTunes page. Please help! Thanks!
I have been creating a photo book using a lots of photographs on iPhoto, and then I took another photos by using new iPAD which I want to integrate with the original album/book on iMac. I was able to import them from iPAD's iPhoto to iMac's iPhoto. However I cannot import or transfer or sync anything from iMac's iPhoto to that of my iPAD.
So my iPhoto page on iPAD contains only 3 or 4 newly created albums, and no other info. That means no syncing....
I am supposed to be able to work on this project on either of these iPAD and iMac, correct?
I am puzzled. I appreciate for your advice and help.

Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

Can't load Google Calendar. I'm getting this message: "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page" but unchecking the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" has not helped. I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 on Mac OS 10.6.3. It's not reported as a generalised problem in Dashboard. Google Calendar opens and works fine on my 12" PowerBook G4, but this is a recent problem on my G5 13" MacBook Pro. Mayday!

slI have the same problem with my HP C6380 MY8CJ880F6. For me it is +80% of what I am printing I only get 1 page and has to print the rest 1 by 1. The problem is 6 month old and I have tried almost everything except the right solution ;-}
Setup Windows 7, 64 bit (Danish). Wireless communication.
I have tried reinstalling, use HP diagnostics and a lot of other things. Diagnostics says everything is fine. Microsoft Fix It diagnostics says the same about the Windows 7 printer support functions.
My other printer a HP Designjet 111 runs perfect. When I am out of office I use other printers no problems. But the HP C6380 will in most applications especially Acrobat Reader only print 1 page at a time.
I have tried to change the printer into factory settings that sometimes do the trick for the Microsoft Office 10 products installed but not for Acrobat. Most of my documents are PDF so either i get the fixed or I will have to invest in another printer.
Any body with a solution ?

I have Maveriks. I downloaded numerous ACID Fonts and purchased Stuffit as instructed by ACID Fonts in order to use them. However, now I am unable to figure out how to get them into my Font Family drop down list or insert into Pages. PLS HELP!

The instructions in HT4236 are as follows:
To delete synced photos and videos
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.
No where does it say anything about a "photo pop up option". When you click on your device icon a panel with many tabs appears. One of these tabs is "Photos". You are supposed to click on the "Photos" tab. -

I tried turning off extensions as you suggested, Bee, but the problem persists. As you can see Chrome is working. Turning on auto proxy discovery in preferences made no difference.
The message I get when trying to open a web page is:
Safari can't open the page "http:www.apple.com/support/". The error is: "The operation couldn't be completed. Operation not permitted" (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:1)
Any chance you can decipher this and tell me what it means other than the web page can't open which I kind of figured out. -
