Page is jumbled

I just made a change to a page in my muse site and when viewed in the browser it is all over the place. Preview works fine but the live version is a mess. I accepted the latest update from muse. I'm on a mac, I saved the site, exported to html and used filezilla to upload. I have been using this process since I've been using Muse with no problems. Help!! This site is live and I can't have this! The remainder of the site is as it was before I made my changes just now. here is a link to the jumbled page: http://maldenismoving.org/events.html

Glad to hear it.
You might consider trying the new built-in Upload to FTP Host feature in Muse. It will automatically only generate and upload the minimal set of changed files, including when future updates of Muse once again improve code generation or JavaScript and thus require more files to be updated/uploaded than you would expect.

HTML page is jumbled when sent as email

Hello,
I have an app that creates a schedule for the users and allows them to email it to themselves. I am using InputStreamReader() to capture all the html from that page and insert it in-line into an email. When I output the stream, it works perfectly but when I send it through email some of the content is lost and does not display correctly. Comparing the email source to the output stream, there is a lot of information missing. Please review my code below and let me know if you see any errors. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Iweb pages all jumbled

After a period of NOT updating website........open to find text on one website all jumbled up. Website appears OK online........but not sure what to do and/or how to change.
Have a couple other websites that appear OK
Any ideas?

Try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
3 - launch iWeb and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

IWeb page looking jumbled on the net and not my computer

I think this may be the first time I've published my web page to the net with 08 and its not translated some of the images. A couple new pictures i've added are only showing as a question mark and parts of the actual apple template art are also question marks on a page i created a while ago. Also, some fonts are large, etc. I've refreshed and republished several times with no change. something isn't translating or something. If someone could lend a bit of help, this would be much appreciated.

Pages are jumbled!

I created a really nice looking website (my first, self and forum taught).
I thought it looked great. I checked every link, and every page on my computer. Before I make it live to the world, I asked my coworkers to review it all. One came back and said the parts of the header are below the header line on some pages, not all, images on another page are not lined up the way I see them, and other problems. What did I do wrong? I was so proud. Now, just deflated thinking I may have done it all wrong. It has to look the same on everyone's computers obviously. Is there a format lock I don't know about?

Certain websites appear jumbled, What can I do to fix this?

Just recently my wife's Facebook page is all on one side of the page(appears jumbled on left side). It is only on her page, not the main page. Youtube has been this way for about 6 months. It is only on these sites that this is happening. How can I fix this problem? Also, my disk drive has not been able to read disc since I have had this computer (probably b/c my child put something in it). The disc just ejects out after spinning for a while, so I cannot use my installation disc for repairs? Is there any solutions other than external drive?

I am using Safari 10.4.10. I had already emptied the caches and history, but that did not help. It's only on my wife's wall on Facebook, but not on other peoples walls and Youtube. The other issue was my driver not reading the disc.

Web pages will not run correctly, says need Java- L505d-S6957

I have a new L505D-S6957 running the Windows 7 upgrade 32-bit. I have tried using Firefox and IE8. Both browsers seem to not run Java or not run correctly if so. Though when I check my Java it is latest and installed. Buttons on web pages and photos do not load or run. I have tried re-loading the Java, the browsers, and about anything else I can think of. Some web pages load jumbled as if without any margin.
Can anyone help me determine what is going on here? Some of my favorite web pages do not work and one will not even log me on. I could not log on to this website to get this help. It keeps returning back to the login screen after I try to login. However, I was able to login here on the first try on another computer. Thanks for any help on this matter.

Acrobat CS4: Swapping pages in a PDF

I've got Adobe CS4. I've downloaded a PDF document, but the pages are jumbled up for booklet printing.
Is it possible to swap pages in a PDF?

OK, dumb question: where is the Pages panel?
[Edit] OK, I've found the Pages panel. The problem is that the pages are set out 2 per sheet, side-by-side in landscape format. For example, PDF Page 4 has content for Document pages 32 and 1. PDF Page 5 has Document pages 2 and 31 ...

Scrolling on pages with images is very jerky and sometimes hangs [but the same page is fine on IE]

windows xp /ff 3.5.8 [tried upgrade to later versions but I completely lose my synaptics tp scroll function]
as the title says, on some/many sites, when you scroll down the page, FF gets "stuck" on an image and the page becomes jumbled as it crawls along for a short while, then it will get past the "obstruction" and scroll okay. but scrolling back up it hits the same bump.
it is 100% repeatable
the same page in IE scrolls just fine.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting 'none' as a high value can cause issues like you described.

Jumbled elements in preview

pages look correct in plan view, but in preview mode elements are jumbled once I start to navigate

Hi - I just started working on this website so I haven't published yet. But this is still happening. Seems to become jumbled if I make changes to the master page and preview. The initial page looks fine, then as I navigate other pages are jumbled. They correct after I close out and come back into the file.

PDF Portfolio

I have created a portfolio compiled of fill-in forms and other documents.. When I open a document within the portfolio that has multiple pages, the pages get jumbled up. I've noticed that it is happening with page two - so if double click a document and scroll through, page two shows up as page two from a different document in the portfolio.. I've tried recreating the whole portfolio, restarting, and checked for any updates.. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

are you referring to adding Attachments in documents, such as Submittals?

My e-mail is corrupted and I can no longer access so what is wrong? It works on other browsers so Tech support said problem lies in browser. ps I have printed

Not sure how long ago...a few weeks...I thought it was a problem with bell provider so went there first.
They did diagnostics and recommended I contact you since I can obtain my e-mail through other browsers. I can access internet without difficulty but when I sign into e-mail account through hotmail my e-mail page is jumbled and looks skeletal. I cannot access any of the messages as if I press on any one it does not come up. I have taken a screen print but I do not know how to import it here. I imagine it is some interaction between your browser and my computer but I am clueless as to how or where to start....

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Indesign CS5 Duplex printing Postscript file

I am designing a book half english half spanish—It is an instruction manual so you read the english then flip it and read the spanish.
In my Indesign CS5 document pages 1-30 are English then 30-1 again are spanish (upside down). I need to export them as a postscript file so that I can print it double sided correctly for a mock up.
I am making multiples of these books and only some are exporting to a postscript correctly and I cannot figure out why.
When exported to postscript correctly, it should look as if the left page is the cover in english and directly to the right of it is spanish but upside down, and then it alternates all the way to the end. So for example:
Spread 1: English on left right side up, Spanish on right upside down.
Spread 2: Spanish on left, English on right
Spread 3: English on left, Spanish on right.. and so on
But, some, are exporting so it shows a cover, then a blank page, and all the pages are jumbled up. (I do have "do not include blank pages ticked when exporting to postscript)
The only guess I have is that it has to do with the page and section numbering? I don't know if this effects how the postscript converts or not. But, I have several books exporting very differently to post script. Please let me know if anyone can help me figure this out!

I had a brief PM conversation with Stephen this morning, and it just hit me that I may have been thinking about this incorrectly. There are actually two approaches to this kind of document.
The approach I've been envisioning presents the reader with all the text on only the right-hand pages -- the lefts are all the other language upside down. But thinking back to my youth and buying some two-title sci-fi paperbacks, I think those were built so that if you tore apart the binding in the center of the book you'd wind up with two "normal" books without back covers, and there would be no page overlap between the two titles.
I'm guessing that the OP actually means to do the second, and I apologize for being dense yesterday. Seems like it was happening all week. If that's true (I mean the binding layout, not my being dense), then I understand what you were saying about Print Booklet, and there's actually a pretty easy way to make this work, I think without a plugin (though IDImposer might turn out to be even easier).
Here's the approach I would use to make a single book that can be cut apart to make two independent volumes:
First, download Scott Zanelli's Multipage Importer script from InDesignSecrets » Blog Archive » Zanelli Releases MultiPageImporter for Importing both PDF and INDD Files The script allows you to automate placing multiple pages from either a PDF or another .indd file into a new .indd doc, and it allows you to select the page range to import, the page on which to start placing, and allows scaling, rotation and alignment adjustments.
Since you have two 30-page sections, make a new 60-page file. The first time you run the script, place the first 30 pages normally, starting on page 1. Now run the script again, choosing the range 31-60, but do the following: check the Reverse Page Order box, Start Placing on Doument Page 31, and Rotate 180:
You can run this new file trough Print booklet.
The original content in the new file cannot be edited directly other than moving pages around or cropping/sizing/repostioning the page images. If you need to make text changes or other edits, do them ithe original, then update the links.

Weird text problem in Internet Explorer (Again)

I wonder if anyone out there can help me with this issue. I have just finished a website I have been working on for months. Through the whole process I have been testing the site in Firefox and internet explorer 8 however when I published the site online and tested the site internet explorer sometimes shows the page all jumbled up as displays the pages as detailed in the image below.
The thing is it seems to show different on different computers I have 4 here and some show ok and some don’t which is puzzling?
The weirdest thing of all is that i published the same site to both my domains www.ezway.co.uk and www.windows7dvd.com and on the computer I am using now (using internet explorer 8) the windows site shows as it should and the ezway site shows all messed up as displayed in the attached image.
I know this is a puzzling one but is anyone familiar with a problem like this.
( Please ignore the gap halfway down the image as I needed to upload it in two separate halves )
Also the red boxes are to highlight the errors on the page..

Saved images will not open

When I save an image to my picture folder, it will not display picture when I try to open it, it is just a page of jumbled letters.

Make sure that the file has a file extension like .jpg to make it an image file. 
You can check the file type in the Properties via the right-click context menu. 
If that shows that iti is not an image file then you need to rename the files and add a .jpg file extension. 
You probably need to add quotes around the name to make Windows Explorer to replace the old file extension with .jpg and not add the .jpg as part of the name leaving the old file extension as is.
