Page is too small to read

I was playing farmville. It sent me to a page, when I tried to get out the whole page shrunk and the words are almost impossible to read. There used to be a place on the bottom right screen, where it showed percentages of the screen size: 50% 85% etc.. Can't find that

should I get rid of mozilla fire fox?

  • Screen Res. of 1080p loads pages too small to read and no fix/adjustments.

I have an MSI K9A2 Plat.MoBo with Asus 4850 Video card that runs well. My Monitor is a 32" Vizio w/HDMI, running @ a preferred screen resolution of 1080p. With the new Firefox 5 all pages load too small to read. I can modify text size but text overlaps while still not large enough to read. If I drop Screen resolution to 720p it all looks OK but the higher res. of course plays movies better and I prefer high resolution for general use as well.
I have had no issues of this type with Firefox v3.8..., in fact I have no issues at all with running Firefox 3.8
    Thank you
    Greg Hallee

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.<br />

  • Print too small to read from printer with Page shrink on 30%

When printing some emails on Xerox 7225 the print is too small to read even with page shrink on 30%. latest email is from an AOL account and header lines do wrap. This problem is new.

    Select the email
    'File' > 'Print Preview'
You can change the size of the font by changing the 'Scale'.
increase the Scale to increase the font.
so start by selecting: Scale = 100%
When all looks ok, click on 'Print' button

  • When i browse with firefox the search results come up too small to read and I can't find any menu buttons (ie, can't find anywhere to zoom in or the view menu)

Have just got a new computer. Downloaded firefox as it has always been better than explorer and I've never had trouble on previous computers. It seemed to download okay. I set google as my home page. When I type a search phrase into it, the results page comes up too small to read. It's like it's normal but miniature. You know how google has google images, googlevideos, google maps across the top of it, if I click on the minature 'images' word, it comes up with the google images page but also very tiny. But if I click the mini 'videos' word, the videos search page is normal sized and so is the maps page.
It's driving me crazy because the initial page seems okay but there's no normal google stuff on that either, and then when I try to search for something, it goes tiny.

    Hello Ashley.
You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
On the other hand, you may have Firefox configured to display fonts like that. Check Tools > Options > Content > Fonts & Colors and see that the font size is not too small. In my experience, sizes bellow 16 will be way to small to read.

  • File printing and icons for folders in Bridge CS5 - too small to read

Got CS5 and am trying to use Bridge. The folders are too small to read and the print with them too small. The slider at the bottom of the page enlarges the space but the files and printing stay the same size. If I open one the images will enlarge with the slider but I don't want to waste time opening each file to see what is in them. I want to be able to read wha the file is and open the right one first try.
Tried calling "tech support" Those jackasses can't speak English. On hold for 3 hours overall after getting someone, getting cut off and having to call again. I hope Pakistan nukes India and solves that problem.
When I finally got through the guy told me my Photoshop copy was not registered. Funny, it was last week when it had problems. Then I try changing the pasword and it says it did it, but won't accept it.
    I hate computers.
So, anyone know how to get this damn probram to make the folders and printing big enough to read without my having to get up to the screen with a magnifying glass like Sherlock Holmes? The screen is a 22inch graphic arts monitor and I don't have this problem with any other programs. Not Breezebrowser, Not Auto Pano Pro, not Photo Mechanic. Just Bridge with this overpriced and overhyped photoshiz crap.

Small, and uncustomizable, fonts has been a com
    plaint in PhotoShop also.
Send in a bug report, they do read those, and maybe if enough users complain they will modify the program.

  • Print output too small to read

Different pages are scaled between about 90% and 25%,
resulting in text that's too small to read. I don't see any
controls that allow one to seet the scale factor.

I am having the same problem. I created my Flashpaper
document on a Mac in OS 10.3. My file looks fine in the browser,
but when I print it, the document scales. I am using the Flash
Player 9 plugin and this problem seems to exist on any browser I
use on my Mac (Safari, Firefox, Opera). The flashpaper documents on
Adobe's site are doing the same thing to me. Please let me know if
anyone has a solution. Does this happen in anyone else's
    environment (different browser/platform)?

  • Pdf's converted to epub in image mode are too small to read on ipad2

I have tried all of the free to sample converters out there.  Many allow you to convert a pdf which has multiple columns, pictures, tables, etc. in image (or picture) mode in order to preserve the original formatting.  Unfortunately, when viewed in iBooks, each page has a (minimum) 1 inch white margin around it, rendering the page illegible.  Is there a way around this or am I stuck with importing the documents as pdf's?  I would certainly like to use ePub, especially for the cover art, if at all possible.  Thanks.
    Ron

Yes I am finding that out.  The original format is MS Publisher 2007... which doesn't convert to much of anything (except pdf).  When I say (in my original post) that the ePub file is illegible, it is formatted correctly but much too small to read (occupies less than 50% of iPad2 screen) even when double tapped.  And of course page turning is not available in this mode.  At this point I am not sure if this is a conversion issue or an iBooks issue, but I'm starting to lean toward the latter.  Thanks for the reply.

  • One web site lettering is too small to read. how do I enlarge it?

I have a new Toshiba Satellite with incoveinent touch pad that my left hand seems to rest on while I am typing. While trying to learn a new Blackboard sight, the type suddenly began to shrink too small to read. I have logged off, shut down and searched for a way to enlarge, but have not found solution. I need this sight to be readable for 2 courses that started yesterday.

Reset the zoom level for that domain, see this: <br />

You may need to go back and start over.  Reset the router back to factory defaults, log on as the admin, set up security, DHCP, and make sure the IP address pool has enough IP addresses to lease to ALL of the computers/devices that will connect to that the router.

web pages open too small. How to make zoom setting permanent?

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.
Try the Default FullZoom Level extension: <br />
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965
Or the NoSquint extension: <br />

  • Display is too small to read

I opened Windows in Bootcamp and the icons are there but the fonts are all too small to read. I can't click on anything to fix it because I don't know what I'm clicking on. There must be a mix-up in the display settings but I can't navigate to where I need to go to fix it. Is there a way to fix it?
