Page menu item link not fully responding

Can you have a look at my site at http://www.impossibleimports.com and tell me why some of the navigation isn't working correctly?
The main point for concern is when you have selected the Fren Tubo menu item, and then need to navigate elsewhere from that part of the site? It seems that only part of the menu items respond as you hover over them. I'm a bit stuck?!

Your issue is duplicated when I visit your site.
Positioning the cursor just to the left of the errant links seems to work. ?? Strange!
I looked at the code in Dreamweaver Design view:
The only thing that seems strange is that they are out of order - CSS should cure that..
Then I looked at it in Dreamweaver View In Browser mode:
Obviously it's a list only because I don't have the CSS code.
Then I did an HTML insert using Muse:
Almost same as above
The Source Code shows nearly the same:
What I would try:
In Muse Design mode I would remove ALL links and all anchor tags.
Then I would highlight the menu items again - being VERY sure I have all the text of each item [but ONLY the text] highlighted then re-link.
I would do ONE item at a time -testing each as I go.
The only other thought I have is to try repositioning the anchors a little bit.

we are having an issue with our existing Web Start Application in Java Version 7 Update 2 and above where the Sub Menu items are not being associated with Internet Explorer with href link as Target when using <related-content> tag in JNLP. This is working fine in JRE 1.6, JRE 1.7.0 and 1.7.1. I have tried using Integration Service to programatically create these shortcuts in JRE 1.7.5 but was unsuccessful.

I haven't filed this as a bug in Java development yet but am going to do so soon, In the mean time i was hoping to see if anyone else is on the same boat as me and if there was a work around.

"Hyperion" menu item does not appear in Excel after SmartView Installation

Hi to all! When I first installed SmartView, everything was ok - "Hyperion" menu item appeared in Excel and I successfully established connection to Planning and worked with data in Excel. Then, once upon a time I happened to select all data through Ctrl+A in the data form open in Excel and tried to copy it to another worksheet in the same workbook, Excel threw out a message about some serious error and informed me that the Hyperion Add-on would be removed. So it was removed in fact. When I was reinstalling Smart-View, all the installation went smoothly but the "Hyperion" menu item did not appear in Excel again. I tried to reinstall both Excel and SmartView and rebooted the system several times but the Hyperion menu item still does not appear in Excel. Can anyone hint me on how to solve this? Menu items linking to other pages?

I have built a menu using the forms menu tool in Dreamweaver, and now I would like to link each menu item to a different page. Can this be done and how? does it require SPRY?

No, you don't need Spry to link pages.
Highlight the text or image that you want to use as the link.
Insert > Hyperlink
Complete the Dialog Box... you can use the little folder icon/button at the right of the Link: field to navigate to the file you want to open with this link
Clicking the "Help" button there will get you more information about Hyperlinking.
Or:
Highlight the text or image you want to use as the link.
Just to the right of the Link field in the Property Inspector, drag the target icon over to the Files Panel and tap on the file you want to link to

"Send link..." context menu item does not launch the mail client

This was working in Firefox 12 but with the latest update to Firefox 13.x no mail client is launched (mine is Thunderbird) when context menu item "Send link..." is clicked.

I changed the network.protocol-handler.external.mailto setting in about:config to the default value (true) and that seemed to fix it.
I don't know what changed it before though.

I just downloaded Firefox 4 and it does NOT look like it is supposed to look - My menu items are not in a single button, etc... as displayed in Step 2 of getting to know your browser on the welcome page for Mozilla Firefox 4. Can anyone help?

To get the new UI you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.
If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.

Windows and icons are black, menu items are not showing correctly

Hello!
Well just doing my normal routine today browsing the Internet, watching videos on vlc, my computer suddenly started to glitch. Icons were disappearing, Safari turned black.
So i did a restart but the problem is still there. I cant even choose the user properly because the avatars are not there it's just all dark gray. Remembering where my user avatar is, i do a click and type in my password and I do and able to get in to my system but all windows menu items and icons are black.
Basically what I'm saying is the system seems to be working fine except for that I can't see the icons and windows properly displayed.
I've already tried to reinstall of Mavericks hoping that it's a software thing. You guys think it's a problem with the graphic processor?
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated thank you.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Then click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.

Apple menu item link broken

I installed a new hd today on my G4 933 Quicksilver. I did not have my installation disks handy, having moved and they're packed away somewhere, so I used disk utility to initialize the hd then restored the image of the old hd to the new.
After remembering to change jumpers, set new hd as startup disk, unmount old disk and whatnot, the new drive appears to be working beautifully, except that the link from the Apple Menu to System Preferences is broken. Can someone tell me how to repair it without my installation disks? I know there's a simple unix command, but it's been a while since I've been under the hood and I can't some up with it.

Menu Items does not display after Making ARD file

I have created a Addon Which has Five Menu Items. Three Items in Setup->Inventory and Two in Inventory->Inventory Transcation. It will woriking fine when I run my addon from Visual Studio directly But after created ARD file It does not show Menu items. There was no error during making ARD. I tried three times. But result is same it does not show any Menu Items. Plz suggest me Code is given below. I Use VB B1 AddOn Wizard for creating Menu Items This has a seprate addMenu.xml module.

Hi,
Did you included the AddMenus.xml in the extra files when you generated the installer?
The AddMenus.xml file needs to be in the same folder as the addon exe. If there is no AddMenus.xml file there is no error raised, B1DE thinks there are no menus to add.
You have to include all extra files in the installer when you generate it.

In the menu item code I want to enable debug logging of the current user actions.
In the Menu Startup Code I set the status UNCHECKED.
When the user clicks the menu item I want the status to be changed to CHECKED and back on a second click

Hm. In that case the only thing that comes to my mind is to apply the latest patchset for forms 11gR1 which is 11.1.1.6 if memory serves.Not possible, applying patches requires tons of tests for many applications.
Does it work in a previous version of forms?This is a new menu item and I have not other version available to test.
Another thing I found: When I open or close a form after clicking the menu item, then the check mark appears. Changing the label of an item works without opening a form.
Therefore I changed my Menu Item Code to

END;Now when I click the menu item the first time, the label changes immediately, but not the check mark. When I click the menu item a second time without opening a form the label does not change, this means, that the property CHECKED is only changed, when a form is opend/closed.
Even better: The initial label id Debug, clicking the item should change it to+ Debug on+ and on subsequent clicks change between Debug on and Debug off
1. Click -> Label changes to "Debug on", check mark unchanged
2. open a form
3. Check mark is shown but label is the default Debug
4. close the form
5. Check mark is not shown, label is back to Debug on
6. Repeat step 2 - 5 with the same result
Different sequences of clicking and opening/closing forms give seemingly random combinations of check mark on/off and label texts.
Conclusion:
A menu check item is a very obstinate thing. I will not use it if I can avoid it.

Menu items are not highlighted after Design Studio Client 1.3 upgrade

if this is what you see after start, it it is possible that you face a general issue on Java Runtime level (which version do you have installed)? or on memory allocation level.
do you see any log file located in your workspace? search for *.log. can be that there are some basic exceptions.
also, I do not know if this is upgrade or fresh install.. you can try to uninstall, delete the content of the folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Design Studio\... and then install from scratch again. could be that the upgrade went wrong.

Menu item icon not updating

Hi,
I have an action into which I set an Icon:
action.putValue(Action.SMALL_ICON, icon1);
now I set this action into my menu item and show the item in a menu. The item displays correctly and the icon is visible.
later in the program i do:
action.putValue(Action.SMALL_ICON, icon2);
then I open the menu but the menu item still shows icon1 until I roll over it with the cursor when it finally changes to icon2.
Any ideas on how to make this update immediate?
BTW at the point of changing the icon, I don't have access to the menu item or the frame etc, just the action.

Nesting Templates: Child-Template Pages not Fully Responding to Editable vs. Un-Editable Regions

M'kay, so first and foremost, all of this is being done within Dreamweaver CS5. How I might explain this is that I have a series of Master-Templates for my website, accompanied then by Child-Templates linked off of / nested from my Master-Templates. So far this is going wonderfully, that is, until I try to make a page from one of my Child-Templates.
The page from my Child-Template accurately comments-out an un-editable region (Region in which was editable within the Master-Template, but left as ONLY editable within the Child-Template) so long as I add an EDITABLE region WITHIN it. Under the circumstance that I DO NOT add an editable region within the Master-Template's editable region, the region within the Page is still appearing editable.
For example:

This is an example of an editable regions that WORKS. In the Child-Page the "Child Template CSS Links Here." IS appearing commented out and therefore un-editable within the Child-Page, like it's supposed to be. This then allows the "Child PAGE CSS Links Here" to be ACCURATELY editable within the Child-Page.
Now for an example of what DOESN'T work:
Master Template:

Child Template:

     Child Template CSS Links Here.
     (As you see, I have NOT added an additional editable region within this Master-Template's editable region. This is an area that is ONLY supposed to be editable within the Child-Template and NOT the Child-Page, which SO FAR appears to be accurate.)

     (For some reason, ONLY so long as I DO NOT add an additional Child-Template-editable-region within this Master-Template's editable region, this area is STILL appearing visible as well as editable within the Child-Page.)

So, under this circumstance, it seems that the only way I can leave a Master-Template's editable region ONLY editable within the Child-Template and NOT editable within the Child-Page is by leaving an ADDITIONAL editable region produced via the Child-Template somewhere within EVERY SINGLE editable region produced via the Master-Template. Unless I am doing something seriously wrong, this so far appears to be a potential defect/bug within Dreamweaver CS5. I can't imagine how this would be accurate, otherwise Child/Nested-Templates would not be possible to make. What might I be doing wrong? Is there any way that I can specify in the Master-Template that an Editable Region is ONLY Editable within the Child-Template and NOT within further Child-Pages (A Page based off of the Child-Template)? Or perhaps is there a way that I can specify in the Child-Template that an editable region WILL NOT be editable within the Child-Page? Furthermore, no, I DO NOT want to make them "Optional Regions," so please do not suggest that.
I know that this is all probably a bit confusing, but hopefully the examples above will help more than the descriptions aside. As you can probably assume, this is definitely a HUGE complication within my website if there doesn't end up being a solution, especially with all the time I have put into making the Child-Templates that I hope to rely on. It really would be a bit ridiculous if I had to script-in an additional editable region within every single Master-Template-editable-region available within my Child-Template just so that I may update my Child-Template, furthermore allowing my edits to drop down to my Child-Pages, especially since it would maintain content that I never wanted to be editable within the Child-Page in the FIRST place.
Some help would be sincerely appreciated, and as soon as possible, if I might ask politely.

=____= I cannot believe that I am saying this, after writing ALL of that up, but thanks to "Dreamweaver CS5 for Dummies," I just learned that if you place: @@(" ")@@ within the Child/Nested Template's editable region that you DO NOT want passed down to your Child-Pages, it won't appear editable. Goodness knows why such an inconspicuous formula was the answer, but I guess whatever works. ...WHY WAS THIS INFORMATION SO DIFFICULT TO FIND?!?!?!?! @____@ Information on Nested Templates in general seems rather difficult to find, however, so I'm glad I figured this out /not ever a full hour/ after writing all this up and posting it. #__# ...At least my Child-Templates can work thoroughly now, though. So... Scenario FIXED. ^^
I only hope now that such information will appear helpful to anyone else hunting for this information via Google or other Search Engine in the future. And if there is anything at all that I am still officially missing, then do feel free to add it to the feed and let me know, because the last thing I need right now are more surprise difficulties to equally slow down the productivity of this massive project I've been working on... @___@ ..But so far things seem to be going good. ^^ So I can settle myself unbelievably grateful that there ended up being a solution to this ridiculousness after all.

Accordion menu spry link not working

I built an accordion menu spry using Dreamweaver CS5. I noticed that the navigation labels on the accordion menu cannot be linked to pages. Please see the Overview link on the accordion menu and notice that it does not not go to 'overview.html' as I added in the code. What am I doing wrong?

I see this in your spry css file - you might try removing the two user-select entries

Menue item is not visible

i try to put file menu and i put it in but there is problem and drop menue is not visible but it dos work (if u now where the items are )and
if you have no idea then is it possible to create 3 different menue and ask action performed to look at there event instead of Jmenue item.
because if i cant find solution then thats my only way

Hi,
I think you want your file menu to be visible as soon as your frame opens. If I'm correct, then you can run the code pasted below. You were trying to make file menu visible when it was not showing.
