Page not found in ABAP Workbench

Hi,
I have installed ABAP Development Workbench included in "ABAP Objects" book.  When I do SAP logon and bring up ABAP Development Workbench,  I do not see the Object lists in the object navigator and instead "Page not found" error shows up.  Can anyone help please ?
Thanks
Abdulla

We trialled upgrade of sapgui from 6.40 to 7.10 +patches.
One my laptop and another one with 710 I get se80 unable to display page in dev, quality, live 4.7 systems.
On another laptop with 710 se80 ok on my login and another userid in live, but not in quality, dev.
Similar problem with "title" area of ALV grid when FB00 line items + Grid option active, eg fbl5n.
On reverting to 6.40 gui se80 ok.
Suspect other software on pc, eg IE, .Net, Java, and settings per SAP system.
Can anyone clarify?

    hi,
I have a issue with WDA IView. Works fine stand alone. Works fine on the DEV Portal.
When put on the TEST Portal, 50% of times it works and remaining it gives 'Page not Found' error.
Does it have anything to do with WD or Portal ?

which works fine. Please help me how can i resolve this issue. I am using endeca 3.1.0.
    Thanks

There's not much to go on here, but it sounds like you're trying to view changes in a "live" application. To confirm this, you should execute the configuration promotion script and then check the same application URL. You can run the promote script from inside workbench. Log in as admin, then look under "Workbench Home > Administration > Admin Console > Scripts." You should execute the "PromoteAuthoringToLive" script. Once this script is complete, then test your page again.
If this works, then it means that your application is configured such that it doesn't get immediately notified of new configuration changes, i.e. it's configured in "live" mode.

    Hi Krishna,

Kindly run the web diag tool as outlined in  note 1045019 or SAP Note No. 1332726 (depending on your version) and reproduce the issue.
This will give you the exact reason why the issue occurs. Attach it here if you have any issues.

  • Page not found error - Session Termination

    Hi
We are using SSL termination at web dispatcher (version 720 - patch 85).
    The link is like
    User < https> WD < http> Consumer Portal <https> WD <http> Producer
Portal <https> WD <http> Backend ABAP system
MSS > team > performance management and when they click on the overall
performance rating we get the "Page not found or not available"
    Please note this happens intermittently
Our Dev Consumer portal has two server nodes, when we shutdown one node (say node0) and tested it out with node1 it works fine, then we switched off the server node1 and started server node 0, it works fine.
When both the nodes are up, it fails intermittently. From the session cookie we can find that if the request does a node hopping it fails and it happens intermittently.
Also when we tested the same directly on the producer portal it works fine.
We checked the parameters for both the server nodes, its the same.
Has anyone faced this kind of issues?
    Regards
    Senthil

Usually in this tortuous  route, limited Timeouts Parameters will trigger 404's and some times when you use Web Dispatcher caching but I don't think you have WD Caching.
        icm/conn_timeout   -

Can you post your values here.

  • SharePoint 2013 Apps shows 404 page not found on web front end servers.

    Hi All,
We are implementing SharePoint Apps for our UAT environment with 1 application server and 2 WFEs. In our development server which is single server worked for implementing SharePoint Apps.
All our web applications WFEs are hosted UAT environment and SharePoint Server 2013 is enterprise with this build number 15.0.4420.1017 (RTM). In the Application Server we enabled App management service and Subscription management through
    PowerShell.
This DNS configuration is as follows:
contoso.com with IP address for Application server (192.168.10.12) 2 different IP address for WFEs
      192.168.10.14/15).
contoso-apps.com for wild card DNS required by SharePoint Apps and pointed to
    Application server (192.168.10.12).
We have created self-sign certificate on one the WFE server, create a web application dedicated for SharePoint Apps
without host header and bind the self – sign certificate to the SharePoint Apps web application. DNS is correctly configured on the WFE and we are able to
    ping abc.contoso-apps.com.
The App Catalog site is working and we are able to download SharePoint apps. But for the WFEs, when go to SharePoint store
it does shows the content for Store and when download an app and click on Add IT and signed as Office ID we get 404 page not found.
We referred the following sites that relate this 404 error:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/sharepoint_-_inside_the_lines/archive/2013/06/23/404-amp-401-errors-with-the-app-management-service.aspx
    http://sharepointchick.com/archive/0001/01/01/setting-up-your-app-domain-for-sharepoint-2013.aspx
    http://absolute-sharepoint.com/2013/02/troubleshooting-setting-up-an-environment-for-apps-for-sharepoint-2013.html
    http://www.jeremythake.com/2013/12/troubleshooting-sharepoint-2013-hosted-apps-on-premises-404-not-found-error/
    https://samlman.wordpress.com/2015/03/01/planning-the-infrastructure-required-for-the-new-app-model-in-sharepoint-2013/
But in my case we have already defined a blank host header for SharePoint Apps that we create previously.
Is it because we not using latest patch as Steve Peschka that March PU fixed this issue?
Any other solution we should look to fix this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Sandy

    Your contoso-apps.com
wildcard address should point to one of the WFE servers, not the Application server.  (Actually it should point to the load balancer for the WFEs, but you don't mention a load balancer.)  Apps generate a dynamic HTML web site on the WFE server.  If
you point to the application server it may not be able to deliver that content if the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Service isn't turned on.  (That's what makes a server a WFE)

  • Page not found when connecting to server (if not logged in on server)

    Hi,
When we try to connect to the presentation server (http://esddev02:9704/analytics/saw.dll?Dashboard) we get a page not found error if I don't open a remote desktop connection session on the server first.
I suppose the problem originates in the fact that the installation of the software has been done with my credentials on the server.
The windows services start with 'Local System' as logon but the OC4J seems to start only when I log on with my user.
I don't see a reason for this as in the registry the OC4J start command is found under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Changing this to "D:\OracleBI\oc4j_bi\bin\oc4j.cmd -start& " did not change anything.
    Has somebody got a clue?
    Tx for any advice,
    Kris

    Hi,
I checked further on this today. Problem is not solved yet. I need to find a way to start the OC4J server independent from my session on the server.
    Has anybody got some advice?
    Brgrds,
    Kris

  • Syncing files constantly issue & page not found when trying to access a file on web

Can anyone assist with syncing issue. Syncing runs all day and new files are not syncing. I can see the files in web browser (not in desktop APP) however when I try to access the files I get page not found.
I went into archive (after reading all the forums I coudl find) and I think there are a couple of damaged files as when I tried to delete them I received an encountered 'error' and could not permanently delete.
I need assistance to get my syncing fixed, and page not found fixed.
    Help!
    Thanks@

There can be a number of causes for not being able to access file form web browser.  One, you might be writing to wrong directory.  Two, you might not have sufficient privileges to either write to directory or overwrite files already in that directory.  From your description, it's the latter of the two, so you need to get a hold of creative cloud support and get file/folder permissions fixed.  Good luck.

  • One user encountering problems during creation of objects - page not found

    Hi,
We have a new developer in the US (Apex host in Switzerland) who reports getting the "page not found" error or a frozen session, when trying to create a new table. It happens when using SQL in the command window or the GUI in object browser. There seem to be no issues with creating apps and app components, just db objects.
He's also reporting getting prompted for bind variables when running a simple create table statement containing no bind variables. Don't know if this is related.
He's tried from another workstation and had same problem there, while I've had no problem when doing same on his account, from another region.
He's disabled the proxy server and tried various browsers, with same result.
I found following in access and error logs which I think may be related. Not sure where to go from here and could use some advice.
    Error log:
    [Mon Apr 23 14:27:12 2007] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] [ecid: 1177338311:XXX.XXX.XXX.XX:10078:0:24103,0] mod_plsql: /pls/apex/wwv_flow.show

    Michelle,
    1) What is the version of the database? What platform?
    2) Connect as SYS via SQL*Plus - what is the result of "select owa_util.get_version from dual"?
    3) Are you using Application Server?
    4) Is this user going through SSL? Are you?
    5) Have you isolated the HTTP-500 errors to this user?

    Thank you in advance.

    Problem was solved successfully:
When I start promote_content.bat first time (after installation with defaul pages in Experience Manager) - nothing happened
But then I made changes - I add new page and run bat file again - after that I see all pages in CRS.
I remove added page and run bat file again - CRS working ok.
As I understand something wrong with bat file.
