Page Turner element ? as a feature in iWeb ?
they have this facility on this website
http://www.panik.com/index.php?do=entersite
click on red arrow that points left and then on an artists name. Not mine as I have not sent them my visuals yet.
Any plans for iWeb to incude this in future or optional (purchasable) 'add - ons' ?
IF NOT
If I got hold of the software seperately/ independently that would enable me to have this as a feature of my future website (using iWeb)
Does anyone know of such an application/software?
Would I be able to include it?

Page Turner element ? as a feature in iWeb ?
No, not at the moment.

That's Flash from Adobe.

It's up to Apple, but I doubt it. Apple probably don't want to pay licensing to Adobe for that.
Would I be able to include it?
Everything is possible, the only limitation is imagination.

PLEASE Please if any of you know or can make suggestions - I would really appreciate some info/ input.
I am a fine artist and would love to have this feature in my IWeb website.

The page size there appears quite small and, after the initial novelty of turning the pages, it could become tiresome leafing through many images.
Why not use the new .Mac Web Gallery and link to it from your iWeb page?
    http://gallery.mac.com/emily_parker#100388&bgcolor=black&view=mosaic&sel=0
...On that page at lower left the viewer can choose from four different display modes and the Slideshow mode displays in +full screen+. Here are details about .Mac Web Gallery:

  • How do I get a page turn feature on page

I have been asked to put a page turn feature on a page whereas the bottom left corner is peeled back a little and the user can click on it to flick to the next page.
Please can someone tell me if this is simple to achieve and direct me to some kind of method or tutorial.......

  • Cool features in iWeb NO LONGER work in IE8 - PLEASE ADVISE!

There are so many things broken in IE8 now with my iWeb sites I hardly know where to begin...and I am totally freaked out about this error below. It occurs whenever one trys a photo or blog page on the mobileme servers, and then tries to see it using IE8. FF works fine. My clients are freakin, and I could have sworn this used to work...so either MS or Apple changed something in an update:(?
    Example page: http://web.me.com/studiosphoenix/Altf4/Photos.html

Uh, not helpful, but I agree with u on getting professional help. Look, are you saying that features that iWeb crams onto a webpage and can't be displayed by IE, which has a major percentage of browser marketshare, is OK with u ?!?
Other items not working: png transparency, a well known problem. Picture frames, probably related to previous. COuntdown widget is also throwing an error and not displaying...the list goes on...
But perhaps there is just a problem with the script:
    URI: http://web.me.com/studiosphoenix/Altf4/Scripts/iWebSite.js
It's not the hosting server, as I tried putting this iweb site on a "normal" web server, and I get the same error. So now what?
    thx!

  • Underlying images appear for a moment upon opening pdf or page turn.

Hi, when I export from indesign to pdf, then open the pdf, a graphic layered behind the top graphic on the first page appears first; so instead of seeing the cover of the book, the reader sees one of the layers first, for a second or two, then the top layer appears. Is there a way to 'flatten' pdf content so this doesn't happen? It also happens on page turn, as it takes a moment for the front-most graphic to appear, and in the meantime reveals the one below it.

Everytime you change the page Acrobat needs to redraw all of the page elements. The dealy is probably a reflection of the amount off video memory available, as much as anything.

  • Adobe pdf to Flash page turning book

First of all apologies as this isn't strictly an Indesign itself question - more the end product of Indesign brochure query.
Can anyone recommend a particular professional PDF to Flash page  turning book effect software. I've googled but there's a fair few out  there and not sure which to go for. Anyone recommend a software in  particular or know if any have been approved by Adobe? This is following  a request by corporate client of mine but I'm stuck on which one is  best to go for.
    Thanks

eDocker is not a PDF to Flash FlipPage software, it´s more like InDesign to Flash FlipPage solution, but it´s aproved by Adobe.

  • Navigation with page turning PDF?

Am using CS4 products, don't know whether Acrobat or InDesign is the problem. I can get a flip-book by adding Page Turn transitions in InDesign, exporting to SWF, using Create PDF from file in Acrobat, then poof, I have a PDF with page turns. So far, so good. But, can't get navigation to work, what I want is one Start Over button on the last page that returns user to first page. I suspect it's because the SWF file is considered only 1 page by Acrobat. Any workarounds?
I can get the Start Over button to work in a PDF exported directly from InDesign, but then there can't be Page Turns.
Tried to put the SWF PDF in a portfolio in Acrobat, thinking I could add navigation, but couldn't figure it out.
Any theories would be appreciated. : )

You're correct - PDF files don't support page turning, so when InDesign exports your document places a single SWF into a one-page PDF file, therefore none of the navigation features of Acrobat or Reader will apply.
Navigation *within* the SWF should work as normal.

  • Adding Pages Document which includes a table to Iweb.

    Hello All,
Im creating a website on Iweb and would like to add a "pages document" which includes a table to it. Doesnt seem to be all that easy?
    Would appreciate any help.
    Thank you.

Don't confuse the Operating System (yosemite) with the version of Pages.
It sounds like you have Pages 5.5.3.
It only works in Pages '09, like 100+ other features only work in Pages '09 and previous.

How does one install page turning arrows in IBook Author?

    Hello Robert,
I don't think such a feature exists within iBooks Author but it is a feature within ePub.
So if you are viewing ePub books on an iPad the pages turn but if you are looking at books made with iBooks Author it is a page sliding.
I will stand to be corrected here but I hope this helps some what.

Re: Turn Telstra Online Security features on or off
I am connected to the Internet via cable and the modem provides Wi-Fi connection. I have given access to the Wi-F to my grandkids lap top & smart phone. They are using all my data. How do I block them? I don't wish to take them off just block them when the usage is high i.e can I turn the Wi-Fi on and off as and when I want to.

  • Page Turn Effect in Adobe eSeminar

I recently saw a page turning effect in a recent Adobe eSeminar that was delivered sometime in June 2009.  I cannot seem to remeber which app it was for but there only seemed to be one check box that required ticking to achieve the page turn effect on a brochure that was to be published on the web.  Not sure if it was a Dreamweaver eSeminar or InDesign or something else but it looked very simple to achieve.
Does anyone know which Adobe eSeminar it may have been and how do I go about watching the eSeminar again.
    Thanks.

Page turns based on template SWF files are part of Captivate, Adobe e-Learning Suite, InDesign and Fireworks AFAIK and are generated using their slideshow features.

Are you doing this to an absolutely positioned element?
    That's the only
time that it is removed from Design view.
Looks like a bug to me. Please fill out this form -
