Page view totally unusable on MacBookPro (Logic 7.2.3)

It's about 3/4 months now, that Logic Page view doesn't work on my MacBook Pro, and I don't understand why Apple programmers haven't solved this issue yet...
It works on my G5 not intel vers.
But I need it works also on my MacBookPro because I have to work on it when I am out of my seat.
The problem is that the staffs continue going straight on overshooting the "white delimited page zone", and it's impossible to work...
Please, somebody answer this trouble..

Guys, I think this problem has to do with the scale parameter of the instrument set being translated incorrectly on Intel/MPB (quite possibly affecting even the "ALL" instrument set, which has no adjustable parameters). Now, I don't have an Intel Mac or MBP, but based on my recent experiences in PPC and similar problems, plus what I've read here, I think I might be on to something...
I'm going to suggest that you guys who are having problems with staves going off the page to do the following test:
1) Open one of your problematic songs and view the score editor where the off-the-page staves are displayed
2) If you're using the "ALL" instrument set, read on. If not, go to #3 below.
ALL Instrument Set: if you're using this just to see a preliminary version of your score, close the score window, select ALL, and open the score editor. This forces the creation of a new instrument set. Do these staves go off the page? If not, you're good to go. But if they do go off the page...
a) go to your printer settings and make sure that you have valid settings there. This includes the printer type, page size, and scaling. If they're set to default values (like "most recent printer"), be sure to select an actual printer on your system.
b) open the Instrument Set parameters for the set that was created just before. Set the scale parameter to 200%, then make it 50%, then make it 100%. If my theory is correct, your music should now stay on the page.
3) If you're using a custom instrument set repeat steps a) and b) above. See if that clears up the problem.
I'd be curious to know if any of the above fixes the problem for you. Again, it's just a theory, but maybe it has legs...

Strange viewing behaviour on score page view on Logic 7.2.0 on MacBookPro

I recorded some sequences in Logic 7.2.0 on my MacBookPro and, seeing them in page view mode, I get a strange viewing behaviour: the staffs continue going straight on overshooting the "white delimited page zone". If I try to zoom out I can't obtain the "more pages view" option normally obtained.
If I reopen this song on the logic 7.2.0 situated in my G5 all is fine. Why?

Score, staff not snapping to page view

When I open the score in Logic 8 the and click page view the staff runs off the page in to the gray area.
This was also a problem I had in Logic 7.

Okay, I have a newsletter or other booklet-style document that I'd like to have appear with the inside pages in the two-page view. How do I accomplish this in Adobe Reader X?

When ever a page break oocurs top of page will trigger.
To achieve two top of pages follow the below logic:

    W_FLAG = 1.
ELSE.
   WRITE ITAB 2 HEADER.

It is better to change W_FLAG = 1 WHEN itab1 contents are over.
and similarly to 1 when ITAB2 are over.

Why calculated column never display on "View - Total" selection

In SP 2010 Foundation list, I have a calculated column called "COMP TOTAL".
But why calculated column never display on "View -> Total" selection? In this case any work around for me to display out summation of a calculated field?

Page Views and Sessions/Users for web tests

It seems that when you have a URL ping test that the sessions and users count increases but the page views do not counted. Is this correct? I have 10k sessions/users over the last week but ~150 page views. If I look at the server requests I also have around
50K server requests (around 5 requests on the home page).
Why is App Insights not tracking page views for the web tests but it is tracking everything else?

Currently this is a correct behavior. Page Views are sent by javascript snippet which is not executed when you use web tests. User and session are counted by server side logic (AI Web SDK) which is executed. We will add a feature that detects synthetic
traffic very soon. When implemented charts will filter out users and sessions created for web test pings.

Mute notes totally unusable here.....

If I mute some notes of a sequence then I find many, many, many mute notes randomly muted on other tracks, so that I have to spend half an hour to unmute them. And If had some wanted mute notes.... it's a nugthmare, because I have to remember which notes was muted and which no... Totally unusable!

FWIW, the Deselect All function only works on whatever's currently visible (and selected). So if you select all regions in the arrange window, the Deselect All function does what you'd expect -- it deselects all regions. But it won't deselect any selected contents within those regions.
There are many behaviors to be aware of, and I'm not convinced they're all entirely intuitive...
1. If you were to look at, say, a full score of your MIDI/Instrument tracks and you CMD-A (select all), all notes and symbols will blink as expected. And if you were to also look at your Arrange window, all of your regions would also show as having been selected. Conclusion: selecting the contents of a region will cause the region to become highlighted. Though this isn't the case when you select a region by itself --- doing that doesn't automatically select the region's contents.
Now, with that in mind...
2. Say you were viewing both Score and Arrange windows, and you selected some notes in the Score window for a single region. Per the behavior described above, the region will appear as highlighted in the Arrange. If you then click on the background of the Arrange window, the region itself will become de-selected, but the notes will still show as selected in the Score window (they blink).
3. Same scenario: viewing contents of a single region in Score (with selected events) while the region remains highlighted in the Arrange window. If you click on the background of the Score window, the selected events become de-selected, but the region appears as selected in the arrange window.
This is confusing behavior. And this is how notes/events remain can selected even though you've de-selected the region those events live in.

Event page view in APEX 4.0

hi -- It looks to me like the new "tree" page view in APEX 4.0 shows only regions/processes/items, etc defined on the current page. If I recall correctly, the "event" view in
3.2 showed app processes and page 0 regions, etc intertwined w/ the actual page items.
Is there a view available in 4.0 that mimics this event view? I found it very handy...

Master Page Header and Footer in Page Viewer Web Part

Hi.
I created a View in Pages Library to view specific folders.
After that i added one Page Viewer web part to one of the aspx page.
There in the Page Viewer web part properties Link i have provided the url of the view.
It is displaying the folders but at the same time it is displaying the master page header and footer inside the web part.
Now i need to display the folders alone inside the Page Viewer web part.
Please let me know how to exclude the master page header and footer inside the Page Viewer web part?

I think that is the default behavior of the page viewer webpart.
In the page viewer web part,your just enter the url of the website.So that is treated as webpage and it is displaying as per page.

If you want to display a folder, type in a network path to that folder under Link and the folder content will be displayed.

In two page view preview shows the first page on its own

In two page view preview shows the first page on its own. I have recently downloaded an ebook which has image based tutorials and the pages are in such a way that pages 3 and 4 should be seen next to each other. Preview seems to want to have pages 1 on its own therefore making this rather difficult. Any help on resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Try selecting the first page, and then from the "Edit" menu select "insert blank page". This should put a blank page at the beginning of the document, shifting all pages down one and putting them in the order you want for your display.

Number of Page View is showing zero for Site web Analytics Reports

Hi,
We have enabled Site Web Analytics reports in our Site Collection but the Number of Page views is showing zero for all the dates. We have checked all the events to capture in Site Collection Audit settings, Reporting feature is also activated but still the
count shows 0 for all the dates.
There are other Site Collection that exists under that Web Application but they show the count for Number of Page views in Site.
Any help would be appreciated.

Problem with Digital Editions page view

I used Digital Editions on two books just recently and was able to fit each page of the ebook to it's full height from top to bottom.
I just downloaded my third book to DE, and I can't seem to find the button to fit each page to their full heights (top/bottom). Instead, it's stuck on dual-page view. The single-page view button option isn't even there on the third book, but IS there on the first two books. I downloaded a fourth book and it's experiencing the same problem; stuck in dual-page view with no single-page option.
If I try to re-size the DE window to force it into a single page view, the page numbers are all messed up appearing at random spots of each page rather than at the top right where they are suppose to be.
I re-installed DE but the problem still persists. Is this a problem with the books in specific? Or something else?

Creating a .pdf with different page views

I'm tyring to create a .pdf with different page views. For example as the viewer goes through the .pdf some pages I would like viewed as "single page view" and others "two page view". Is this possible? I'm working with Adobe Acrobate Pro. Thanks for any suggestions.

It's possible to use the Page Open actions to trigger a view mode change but it's messy - if the user tries to override them because they prefer to zoom in, etc. then they'll get very annoyed when things keep resetting.
To create a Page Open action, open the thumbnails panel, right-click on a page, choose Page Properties, then the Actions tab. You can use the Execute a Menu Item tool to fire one of the view modes.

Links and destinations problems - page view

Hi there,
I'm working on a large PDF in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. This PDF has a LOT of internal links, and I want to link to a page view, and inherit zoom. Not only do I have to manually change the zoom to "inherit zoom" after I create a link, but Acrobat has stopped saving my changes.
Things were going along swimmingly for awhile - I was creating links, making the destination a page view (so that the user can find the appropriate glossary entry I'm linking them to), and then going back and choosing "Inherit Zoom". And then copying the link and pasting it throughout the document as I needed. all great. Until, randomly, one of the links didnt' test right. I clicked on it and was taken to the TOP of the page, not the page view - its action was set to "Go to a page in this document" instead of "Go to a page view". So I deleted that link, and started over with a fresh one, making sure it was set to "Go to a page view". Then I copied that link, and pasted it 2 pages later. I tested that second link, and once again it just took me to the top of the page. I tested the original one - the one I made to replace the faulty one 2 pages ago - and even though I had JUST set it to page view, it too just went to the top of the page.
This is so frustrating - Acrobat is literally just ignoring my commands. I am at a loss as to what to do. Please help!
