Pages 2-up view in OS X Mavericks

I've downloaded the OS X Mavericks update and all is working well, only in the new Pages it appears we've lost the ability to view documents in 2-up as we used to in Pages 09 (zoom feature.)  I also don't see the option under View in the toolbar or in the new Section or Format Inspector sidebar. Does anyone know if the 2-up viewing option was eliminated with this update or if it's still there and I just can't see it? Thanks all.

  • How to add addtitional pages in design view?

    How do I create additional pages in design view?  I have tried using NEW PAGE AFTER, but that doesnt add another page in design view, like I need.
    I am creating a report that uses 8 subreports per page to dynamically create labels.  Currently I have a report header, and am using the page header to arrange the subreports so the top of each subreport prints on the top of each label.  The fields in the subreports can grow, and fill in the label from the top down.
    I need to create a multiple pages using this format, but I dont know how to add more pages in design view.  Essentially I need subreports 1-8 on page 1, 9-16 on page 2, etc.  I would like to preserve the formatting I have created thus far, but I can always change it if I have to.

    In attempting to create the label sheets I needed, I ended up creating 14 separate reports (which report on 6 individual queries), because there are 14 pages worth of labels that need to be created.  What I wish to accomplish is to condense these 14 reports down to 6 reports.  One for each query.  What I absolutely cant find a way to do, is to get Crystal Reports to allow me to customize subreports on consecutive pages.  Again, I have 8 subreports on each page, which have been formatted to fit on 8 labels when printed.  Each subreport is identical in design, but has a different range selected (i.e. my driving value in each subreport has been modified with Select Expert to be between 1 and 5, or 6 and 10, or 11 and 15).  This is how I have been able to return 5 consecutive results on each label, with the next label returning the following 5 results.
    My ultimate question:  Is it possible to create a multi-page report using this method?

  • Using "View Selector" in the List View Web Part, changes the web part page to the view selected's page.

    Hi,
    I am relatively new to Web Parts pages.  I created a page with list view web part and a Infopath Form Web Part, which are connect via the "Get Form From" option.  My users would like to be able to use views dependent on what
    they are looking for.  So I created different views.  However, when I select the view from within the Web Part, it changes the web part page to the list view page.  I must be doing something wrong.  How do I configure the list view to show
    the selected view and results within the existing "list view web part"?
    Thanks,
    Dwayne

    Hi
    Lindali,
    Sorry, but this has not been answered to my liking.  The "List View Web Part" has the ability for the user to select the view from within the web part, so there you should be able to select a different view and have it appear within the same web part.
    Does anyone know how to complete this task?
    Thanks,
    Dwayen

       try
           IWDCachedWebResource resource = WDWebResource.getWebResource
             text.getBytes("UTF-8"), WDWebResourceType.UNKNOWN
            resource.setResourceName("test.html");
            IWDWindow window =
    wdComponentAPI.getWindowManage().createNonModalExternalWindow(
            resource.getUrl(WDFileDownloadBehaviour.OPEN_INPLACE.ordinal()),
            resource.getResourceName());
            window.show();

            wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException( new WDNonFatalException(ex), false );
    Question 2nd:
      I have create a value context attribute under context.

      Do you know how to display  "mywindow" in a view ?

    Hi,
    This is the code to open up a window
        IWDWindow win = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createModalWindow(wdThis.wdGetAPI().getComponentInfo().findInWindows(<window_name>));
        wdContext.currentContextElement().set<window_context>(win);
        win.setWindowPosition(WDWindowPos.CENTER);
        win.setWindowSize(250,150);
        win.setTitle("New Window");
        win.show();
    This will open up as a pop-up. If you want to open a html page on the same window then put an iframe in your view and set its source property correspondingly.

  • Wiki Pages - Open Web Part Page in maintenance view

    I am trying add custom .aspx pages to a SharePoint 2010 Document Library.  When I try to edit properties for those pages, the edit page shows "Open Web Part Page in maintenance view to delete problem Web Parts and remove personal settings.
    Open Web Part Page in maintenance view."  I click Open Web Part Page in maintenance view
    The page displays
    The are currently no Web Parts associated with any Web Part Zones on this page.  Web Parts added to the page outside of a Web Part Zone will not appear in this list.
    I don't do anything with the maintenance view because there are no Web Parts to delete.
    As a test, I save the content of the custom.aspx page as a text file, custom.txt.  The edit properties displays just fine.
    Another test, I save the content as custom.htm.  The edit properties displays just fine.
    I try many variations of saving the content of custom.aspx with various html tags and even no tags at all.  One version just has the text,"test" in the page.  Save error:
    Open Web Part Page in maintenance view to delete problem Web Parts and remove personal settings.  Open Web Part Page in maintenance view."
    Going down another path, I try to compare the source of this aspx page with other SharePoint aspx pages.  One test is the Wiki Page.  All Wiki pages display the same message on my farm.  Is this a known issue with Wiki Pages?
    <apparently I'm not allowed to add images yet>
    As another point of comparison I opened the Edit Properties part within an Office 365 Wiki.  Same message.
    <apparently I'm not allowed to add images yet>

    Hi Chris,
    As your description, when you uploaded a .aspx page into a library and edited the properties, the message "Open Web Part Page in maintenance view to delete problem Web Parts and remove personal settings.  Open Web Part Page in maintenance view"
    showed.
    I could reproduce this issue if I uploaded a .aspx page into a library and edited its properties.
    Then I went to Site Pages library, and select a page and edit its property, the same message also showed like the screenshot:
    It seems that the message will show when we edit the properties of a page no matter which library we upload it to, it seems to be by design.
    In addition, if you want to upload a image into the thread, you can first upload the image into OneDrive, then copy and paste the URL of the image here.
    Thanks,
    Wendy

  • Pages disappear when viewing and printing

    On our Windows 7 Professional (Service Pack 1) 64-bit computer, using the Reader application directly (not through a browser), we have been frustrated with blank pages appearing while viewing and printing.
    This happens in Adobe Reader 9.5.0, 9.5.3, and 11.0.06.  (We had been experiencing these problems with 9.5.3, so uninstalled and installed 9.5.0, then updated to 11.0.06.  Same problem appears in all versions, but now is exceptionally bad in 11.0.06.   At one time we had updated to Reader 10, but reverted to Reader 9 because Reader 10 would not center pages correctly when printed, especially when Fit to Page was used.)
    When we open a file, pages initially display correctly.  But when we begin to scroll back and forth from page to page, the page images start disappearing. When we print, pages may display correctly just before the print button is pressed, and then may disappear after pressing the print button. If it disappears before the print function has completed, blank pages are output.   If a multi page document, the first few pages may print correctly then blank pages.
    Once a page goes blank while viewing or printing, it does not restore.  One must close the PDF file and open it again.
    We have over 200 documents of 30 to 50 pages each, which are printed on a frequent basis and then bound.  It is extremely annoying and costly to have blank pages output when there should be info on the page.    We have been printing these documents for eight years.  Two years ago started using a brand new Windows 7 computer for printing PDF files, but the blank page issue started surfacing about 6 to 9 months ago and is getting more frequent.

    The system has 4GB of memory.  The processor is Intel Core i5 - 2400.
    As per your suggestion, I updated the driver for the integrated graphics
    card (Intel Graphics HD 2000).  The new driver is dated January 2014.  The
    old driver was dated June 2011.
    I tried to replicate the blank pages situation, and none went blank.   Will
    continue to test over the next week or so, but this looks very promising.
    Many, many thanks, Pat!

    The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
    You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

  • Can i hide "Open Web Part Page in maintenance view" link when editing wiki page properties

    I am working on an Enterprisewiki site collection inside SP 2013, and currently when contributor users edit the wiki page properties by going to "Page Option >> Edit Properties" , then will find the following link, named "Open Web Part
    Page in maintenance view" which sound strange :-
    so can anyone advice what is the purpose of this link and how i can remove it ?

    Hi,
    If someone wants to open a wiki page in Web Part maintenance view then they can directly use this link to switch into the view and can directly delete problematic webparts from there.
    To remove this link, you can try below jquery code in Content Editor webpart on Editform.aspx of wiki page library.
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jQuery/jquery-1.11.1.min.js"></script>
    <script>
    $(document).ready( function (){
    $("a[id$='WebPartMaintenancePageLink']").hide();
    $("a[id$='WebPartMaintenancePageLink']").parent('td').parent('tr').hide();
    </script>
    Thanks. Please mark it as an answer if it helps.

  • Pages 5 will not drag/drop individual pages in thumbnail view, grabs all pages!

    When I try to grab a page in thumbnail view to move, it grabs all the pages in the document and I cannot move the page I want. Any ideas?
    Thanks

    What happens when the page breaks mid sentence? Do you just scramble the content? Your documents would rapidly be shuffled into unintelligibility.
    I just checked in Word for Mac. It doesn't let you just drag random pages out of order either.
    Pages has a mode, the same as Word for Mac, Layout mode where every page is individual and can be reordered at will.
    The problem in Pages 5.2 is that it doesn't have Textbox linking that lets you flow text from one place to another in a document.
    Pages '09 has Textbox linking and another 110 features missing from Pages 5.2.

  • How to dynamically hide the Field Label in the overview page's form view?

    Hi Experts,
    How to dynamically hide, for certain condition, the Field Label in the overview page's form view?
    Please reply me.
    Regards,
    Vishal

    Hi Vishal,
    It is not possible to dynamically hide/display fields if the UI is build using configurations.
    The work around is to have multiple configurations, and based on the condition, load the
    corresponding configuration at runtime.
    The other approach is to code the complete htm view(htm coding) without using the configuration provided by the framework.
    Regards,

  • Trouble viewing pages in live view and preview in browser

    I am currently using Dreamweaver CS4 on windows XP. I was able to view all my pages in live view and I was able to preview them in Firefox and Internet Explorer. I changed a CSS setting on the page, and when I went to view it nothing showed up. I only got a white screen. I undid everything that I did, try to preview it again and it still wouldn't show up. I tried to preview other files, some show up other don't. I've tried to rename the file, put it in another folder, restarted Dreamweaver and restarted the computer. Nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated.
