Pages 5.1 inserting of formatted chars

In pages 5.1 the inserting of formatted chars doesn't work any more. It's a bug or can you help me with it?

I can select fonts and write so in Pages. What I cannot I show in the appended screenshot:
I select the formatted char Verona Script MF in PopChar and dragdrop it to Pages - it shows the inserted char in Helvetica:

No - the Word files do not need to be saved in any other format if you have Pages on your iPad. There are other apps that provide better compatibility than Pages but it will work for you. You have to have DropBox on your PC and the free DropBox app on the iPad to use DropBox to transfer files.
To send the file using DropBox - make sure DropBox is running on your computer. Then place the file in one of the folders that you have set in your DropBox folder on your PC. Launch DropBox on your iPad and find the folder that you placed the file into and tap on that folder. Find the document and tap on it. It will open in the window on the right. Tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner and select Open in Pages.
If you have pdf files in iBooks that you want to put into Pages you have to email them to yourself and use the Open In feature when you open the email. You cannot send a file from iBooks other than to email it - at least I am not aware of any other way.

Insert and Format not visible in Ribbon

So we've got a SharePoint 2013 Publishing site that uses custom master page, page layouts and content types. Each content type uses a number of 'Full HTML content with formatting and constraints for publishing' columns.
However, when users attempt to add content to these columns on a page, they are unable to see the Insert or Format Text ribbon tabs.
What have we done wrong to prevent these tabs from becoming visible?

How can I acheive it.

The entire solution would be too large and complex to post. Here are some pointers to get you going. One alternative is to use BI/XML Publisher to create the output document and launch it from a button on the page (PeopleCode and Derived/Work record). Another alternative is to use Apache POI to generate a doc and iText to generate PDF. Customers have used all of these approaches.

Hello.
You probably know the idea of PROTECT command. It makes that a paragraph wont break in two. If it fit's totaly in one page it will print in that page. If not, it will print totaly in the second page (won't break at the middle).
The checkbox you are asking, makes the same with two paragraphs. This means that if you have paragraphs A and B (A becomes first) and if paragraph A has that option, the next paragraph won't break, and appear in the second page. If paragraph A is in first page, paragraph B will print in first page too, or they will both print in second page.

When you say field, do you mean specifically a form field, such as a text field? Or is the information regular text on the page?

Istore quote page should show in pdf format when I click on a custom button

I have a strange requirment, After I logged into Istore I have added some items to my cart and I am able to see the total quote, here instead of clicking on place order button I have requested for a new button when the user clicks on the button each item and respected price, total details of the quote page should open in pdf format
Can any one help me regarding this ? Did anybody worked on this kind of stuff? any suggestions will be helpful

Use the iText API .Its free.
1.Create another jsp and pass all the values to that jsp. iText will create pdf. Let me know if you need further help.

You don't give much information so I'm going to guess you're using a text box, perhaps in a layout document. Click on the little empty blue box on the lower right side, then click where you want the text to continue.

You're not the first person to report that the sessionstore.js or recovery.js file stopped updating with new activity. However, it's rare enough that I can't recall whether we have gotten to the bottom of it in a previous thread. I'll see whether I can search it up.
Meanwhile, someone might be able to come up with a way to watch for problems and extract some debug information, but I'm not personally familiar with such tools.

You could always try turning the Ipad around to landscape after undoing the lock sreen switch on the side.
Yes you could try using 2 fingers to hold the photo and rotating the picture but it usally goes back to normal. But you try taking a snapshot by pressing the home and the lockscreen button at the same time.

Copy formatted text from Pages into Mac Mail loses formatting

Hi,
I have a document template I use in Pages that eventually gets copied into an email for sending (rather than attached, it's the actual email body).
Issue is, when I copy from Pages into Mac Mail, the formatting is horrible.
The closest I have to a workaround, though still not 100% (just way better) is to Export the Pages file to Word format, open the document in Word, copy the text there and paste it into Mac Mail.
It can't be this awkward, can it?

Couple of options:
Use command shift 4 and draw around the table with the mouse curser ~ a png picture of your table will be on your desktop ~ use attach in mail and tick send windows friendly attachments too.
You could also save Numbers as pdf ( Under the print option) and attach that instead.
No doubt there are other ways.

After installing Firefox 4, Hotmail Page lost all it's formatting

After installing Firefox 4, my Hotmail "home" page lost all it's formatting. The Hotmail/Live logon screen is normal, but after logging on I see all the links and such in one long line down the left of the page. If I click on any of the links, like to go to my Inbox or Calendar, the resulting pages have the same problem. I've cleared cache and such and tried again, but same problem.
Everything works fine in Firefox 3.6 and I.E. 8.

When it comes to a security issue, shouldn't firefox work out the kinks before issuing an update rather than forcing other programs to adjust to firefox? This is a pretty arrogant opinion. WE are your customers and deserve better service than this!

I have a similar problem with Firefox on android. When saving a page as PDF, often the PDF page size isn't big enough and just shows part of the full web page. Is there any way to set the PDF page size and make it bigger,say A4 or some other size?
