Pages and iPhone and iWork and iMac. 100% confused.....

I open Pages on my iPhone. Pressing the + sign give me the option to create document or copy from iTunes, iDisk or WebDAV. I was rather hoping for the option of seeing an icon leading to my iwork storage area at that point, but no. Not sure why I would have documents in iTunes? or on a redundant iDisk? No idea what a WebDAV is.
Opening Pages on my iMac. No sign of any link to the iwork storage area so I can't see the document from the iPhone yet. So give up that route.
Opening iwork in Safari on my iMac instead. Yes, I can now see my iPhone document. And I can open it or maybe I've downloaded it, not sure, but it is now open in Pages on my iMac. I make some amendments and save a version of it. Not sure where it's now saved it though. But it's clearly not the same document now as showing on my iPhone. So presumably I need to upload it again using the handy iwork button. I now get an email saying I've uploaded it, but I know that, I just did it! Will I get an email everytime I do something?
I now want to view the amended version of my document on my iPhone- but it's not there, only the orginal. Can't see any option on the iPhone to look in my iwork folder.
So I'm now completely lost and have no idea what iwork or how the link between my iMac and my iPhone is supposed to work. It doesn't work how I would logically or intuitively expect a Mac product to work.
Can someone please explain in simple language that someone with only 20+ years experience of using Macs will understand......?

OK, a bit more experimenting and it appears the Save a version puts the updated document in your iMac downloads folder. The bit that is still really confusing me is working out the difference between www.iwork.com and www.icloud.com/=iwork (how do you type a hash sign on an apple keyboard by the way?) It seems that if you click on the Share button in Pages on the iMac it uploads it to iwork.com whereas it looks as if you have to go to the icloud/iwork within Safari and choose upload doing it the other way round to get your document back there. Would welcome any advice from anybody who actually understands how it is all working..... It really does all seem a mess to me.

Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Keychain Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over. See if there are duplicates, should be one for Incoming & one for Outgoing.

If Keychain First Aid finds an issue that it cannot repair, or if you do not know your keychain password, you may need to reset your keychain.

Google calendar times show plus 1 hour later on ipad and iphone between april and october

Google alendar shows correct time on the iMac desktop, but on iphone and ipad between april and october, they appear 1 hour later. have tried everything I can think of - no luck!

Registering the iPod has nothing to do with FindMyiPod/iPhone working. See the following for get the Find to work

Also, restoring the iPod means that you can no longer locate/contact the iPod via FindMyiPod.
Registering is not necessary and I would not worry about it.

Ipad and iphone stops typing and freezes with ios8

My iphone and iPad will freeze and stop typing and is laggy sometimes when typing into text boxes in safari with IOS 8 never had this issue till upgrading my ios. I have tried restoring my ipad and still getting the same result. I have the iphone 5s and ipad air. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is anybody else having this issue? Is one of the bugs of the IOS8 system?

I have this same problem, and I've seen a trigger. When I am completing a form in Safari, when I type the first 2 characters of one of my 3 character Keyboard Shortcuts, Safari will freeze. It's as if Safari is trying to anticipate that I am ready to type the 3rd character, which would then trigger the Auto Complete of the Keyboard Shortcut that I've setup. But since Safari freezes upon the second character, Auto Complete is not triggered.

Mail downloads on old iMac and iPhone but not new iMac

Just bought a new iMac. Transferred all the settings. However if I download my email from my old iMac it won't show up on the new one unless I check it on the new machine first. Can I get all my mail accounts to download all my messages? ie I don't want messages to only be downloaded/available on the machine I happen to check mail on first. Checking my mail from the iPhone doesn't cause this problem. Any suggestions?

Is this a Gmail account? If so, then the issue is with how Gmail works with POP access. If you using Gmail on more than one computer you should switch to IMAP.
If not Gmail, but if it is POP, then on all Macs check the settings in Mail Preferences/Accounts/Advanced regarding leaving messages on the server.

If so, try instead updating to iTunes 10.6.3.25. (That supports earlier models of iPhones running iOS 6, even though it can't run the new iPhone 5s.)

My ipads and iphone are listed and included in my 5 devices in iTunes. But it should only be computers (my desktop and laptop). If I deauthorize them, so that I can add another laptop, how to I keep the music/purchases from itunes on them?

To make things more complicated, a few of these devices will also use a DIFFERENT apple id for the cloud/mobile me.
But we all use the same iTUNES id for apps/ music in the family.

Yes. There's no problem at all with having and using both. I use Office for work related stuff for compatibility with complex office documents and iWork for all my own personal stuff.

Move them out of the trash and back into the Inbox.
Open the Trash, tap Edit, tap the email to select it, then tap Move.

Why won't the folders in Mail sync consistently across my iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone?

Ok, this one is complex; here's the deal.....
I'm using a single Gmail account with Mail on an iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone, using Lion and iOS 5. The 4 respective 'Mails' are not synchronising consistently between each other. Here's what's going on:
Received messages are appearing in all 4 Inboxes.
If a message is deleted from any of the 4 Inboxes, it is deleted from all other Inboxes.
So far so good. But:
When I create a draft message, or delete a message from the Sent folder - iMac and Macbook sync with each other, and iPad and iPhone sync with each other, but each 'pair' won't sync with the other 'pair'.
But to complicate things further (and this is the one which is driving me up the wall), let's look at the Sent folder:
If I send a message from the iMac or Macbook, the message appears in all 4 Sent folders.
But if I send a message from the iPad or iPhone, those 2 devices will sync their Sent folders, but the message will NOT appear in the Sent folders of the iMAc or MacBook.
So what is going on there? I've spoken to numerous One-to-One staff and Apple technicians on the phone over the last 12 months, we've checked settings, I've deleted and then reinstalled the Gmail account on Mail - but no success. Please solve this for me!!

The reason I asked is because keying all devices synced is exactly what it is all about.
FYI, You need to use the Mail application, but you do NOT need to use an @me.com account. It support Gmail and other mail servers.
