Pages and Numbers 17€ not Free

I've bought MacBook pro in 25 Oct 2013 and Pages is 17€.
I've submit up-to-date program in 08 Nov 2013 that assigned practice number 528402658.
Today is 14 Nov and no answer or mail received.
I have spent well in 2260 € and I'm not happy for this service.

If you have a new Mac with a standard warranty, then you have 90 days of free support through Apple Care. Call Apple Care in your country and inquire.

***For those that purchased iWork 09 not on the app store but as a retail disk copy you can get the update for iWork even though it may show $19.99 for all the apps:
You can reupdate to iWork 9.3 by going here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1563
then after it is updated close the app store if opened then open it again and sign out then sign in and then all the iwork 2013 apps should show as update rather than $19.99 cost each. This worked for me. I bought iwork '09 on disk but it showed 19.99 each after I upgraded to Mavericks so followed the above steps and it worked. I am now updating all my iWork suite I bought on disk, NOT on the Mac app store and now I have a Mac app store set!
Apple sure has a problem that needs to be fixed otherwise iWork will eventually be free for everyone...
Someone at Apple forgot all of us old retail people before the Mac App store existed!

The apps are free with iOS 7 if you purchased a new device after September 2013. The apps do not come free just because you are running iOS 7 now. Did you purchase or receive a new iPad recently?
If you did, are you using the same Apple ID to get the apps that you used to activate the iPad? If you are, sign out of your ID, restart your iPad, sign in again and go back to the App Syore and see if the apps show up as free.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad and go back to the settings and sign in again.

My pages and numbers are not updating for about a week now Why?

Some one else had a similar problem last night...same as yours. He claimed that Pages had been stuck trying to update for about week. I posted this and he said that it worked - which part he did not say - but give these things a try.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to resume the download.
If you have all of your Pages files backed up in iTunes or on your Mac, this might be the answer. Try deleting the waiting icon - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
I have deleted Pages a couple of times when I had issues with it and then reinstalled it. I even deleted a stalled Pages once and then tried the update successfully again after that. My files are always backed up in iTunes and on my Mac so I had no apprehension about deleting the waiting download.

Pages and numbers under the free app section when they are not free?

Why in gods name are you doing this apple, I am an avid buyer of your software and hardware, but just putting those under the free charts tell me you are manipulating your stats, for all, keep it there and make it free, or at least make it free for the people who have bought it for their apple computers. Pick one and Do it right.

TS3991 i can go to icloud, but keynote, pages, and numbers are not there

I have an icloud account, but cannot access pages, keynote, or numbers.

I am having the same issue for browser based iCloud access. (Macbook, iPad and iPhone programs are fine). The new beta is awful via browser. In Chrome no files are available, and in Firefox all formatting is lost when copying and pasting into Word or some other program.
This is on a Vista Business machine. I have not tried the Safari browser, but will do so.

Why do certain Pages and Numbers files not appear in All My Files

I don't know if this is associated with Yosemite or not. But some time ago, I noticed files I use a lot no longer show up in All My Files in Finder. Whenever I want to open them I have to find them in Finder because they are no longer showing up as a recent file.
Any ideas why? I can't find any settings that seem to influence this.

Recent builds of iTunes seem to have an occasional problem where the main music section doesn't always list all the music that has been added to the library. Create a smart playlist with the name of one of the albums and you should find that the media is actually present. Often adding some more media seems to fix things. Downloading the iTunes Free Single of the Week has a good success rate.
Alternatively you could try closing iTunes, then removing the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder and restarting. This will cause iTunes to run a consistency check on the database which should sort out any anomalies.
BTW I had a clue from another thread that the "missing" tracks might be listed in the Unknown Artist/Unknown Album area at the bottom of the listings. Would you mind taking a look to see if you see the same?

New Pages and Numbers are not worth the money

Bought the two new versions and am very disappointed. Apple should be ashamed to pubish these versions and charge for them. I love Apple, but these versions don't live up to the standards set by Steve Jobs.

They're free downloads for anyone running the previous version. And if you don't have the previous version installed you can buy it on a major online retail store, install it, and get the new version for free while keeping the old version on your Mac. Two apps for the price of one.

Lost pages and Numbers in Library

i saved a template in pages and I went to my libray/app support/iWork and only the Keynote is showing.
Both pages and Numbers are missing.
The template that I saved shows in the "MY Template' of pages.
I have a B/U HD and they are missing from that also.
The last time I B/U was a week ago.
I cannot remember the last time I went into these folders, it could have been over a year ago.
Both pages and Numbers work fine.
Any thoughts or what I need to do to find them ?

On my HD there is a Library, then it goes to Application Support and there are 3 iWork listings.
iWork, iWork 08 and iWork 09.
I tried all three and Pages and Numbers are not listed.
There is another Library listing in my systems but there is no listing for Application support or iWorks.
Unless there was a change to a new location I remember always locating in in the Application support in the main library account listed when I click on the HD.
Hope I answered it clearly.

My App Store is not responding after upgrading to Mavericks and installing free Keynote, Pages and Numbers Apps.
Also I tried to reboot and restart and nothing happens still unresponsive.
Tried to click as many times as I can the App Store and it won't open.
Please Help.

They are free to iOS 7 users who have activated their NEW device on Sept 1 2013 or after. They are NOT automatically free with iOS 7.
AirDrop is only compatible with iPad 4th gen and iPad mini. iPad 3rd gen and below do contain the necessary hardware for AirDrop. Also, AirDrop is only compatible between iOS devices. You cannot AirDrop between iOS device and Mac OS.

stevejobsfan is correct; iwork for ios is free only for new purchases of new ios devices. A good work around (if you have wifi connectivity) is going to the icloud website on your ipad, and working on your document.
A word of caution (the real reason I am responding to your post). If you do a lot of 'formatting' of a document on iwork for mac, and then save it in icloud; you will probably loose most of the formatting you have done (this will be true if you oppen the document in iwork for ios; also) It happened to me, and I did not duplicate the document before saving it to icloud; I lost at least an hours worth of work.
