Pages asks me to choose a copy I'm working on a document

I'M working on a document on pages on my ipad mini. It tells me to choose which copy to use. I'm working on my ipad, I haven't even opened icloud on my computer.

WIndows 8.1. No on can access my document it i pass word protected, I'm sitting right next to my computer working on my ipad. It is annoying that pages asks me to save a copy, when my compter is not been worked from.

When I turned my Macbook Pro on, there was a grey screen asking me to choose between Macintosh HD or Recovery HD. Above both options was a picture of a harddrive. I chose recovery incase it had lost any of my files, however it took me to a set up page, asking me to choose a language. At this point I turned it off using the keyboard button. When I turned it on again it came up with the usual login screen. I haven't lost anything, does anyone know why this happened? The last time I used it was a few days ago just to watch online TV. I have never downloaded anything except Apps.

Go to the start up disk preference pane and make sure your mac's hdd is selected as the start up drive.

Open a page by Firefox 5.0 then copy some texts. Close the Firefox. Try to paste texts somewhere else. Firefox can't keep data alive in windows XP clipboard...

Just test it as follows:
1- Open a page by Firefox 5.0
2- Copy some texts
3- Close the Firefox 5.0
4- Try to paste texts somewhere else (notepad, etc.)
There is no data in clipboard if you close the Firefox 5.0

If you used Sync to do that "import", disable Sync for at least one of those Profiles.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have Sync enabled for all the profiles. To my surprise, however, Sync was of no use in getting Default's extension collection into Shopping. For that I had to resort to the article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox.
I will try disabling Sync on Shopping.

Why are PS and SG asking me to choose between purchasing the product or a 30 day trial?

I have the one-year Creative Cloud Subscription and I downloaded several apps like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and SpeedGrade.
However, when I start up Photoshop and SpeedGrade I had to choose between purchasing the product or register for a 30 day trial.
Anybody who knows why?

When I open iPhoto its asks me what photo library I want to use. I already have a photo library that i've been using for 2 years, where did it go? and why am I being asked now to choose a library or "create new" what happened to all my photos?

We have no way of knowing what goes on on your machine. All we can tell is that your iPhoto library is missing and iPhoto can't find it. If you can't find then I the only thing you can do is restore from your Back Up.

You should have signed in with that address in the first place, but there is a workaround: go to System preferences>Mail, Contacts@ Calendars and add your @me.com address as an account there.

What different Apple ID? Yours? Your friends? Your dogs... ? I think we are going to need more information. You're probably best setting up the phone as a new phone and restoring from iCloud later on.

your right.. i ment acrobat pro :-)
my problem is that i use the PDF printer to export CAD drawings as PDF´s.
As it is now, there are some pre-defined page sizes in the print settings, and i know i can add custom pages manually one at a time.
What i want is to copy the list of my danish standard page sizes, and use them on my other versions of acrobat.
Its like 70 different sizes, and i have them made manually on my current computer, but i hope its possible to copy the list to other computers.
Maby its some script where i can define the sizes, and then copy to another computer. Im just not that much of a computer genius :-)

Choosing and copying in the pdf file

From the security settings of the file, I see that the pdf author has allowed the copying, but I can't choose and copy. How can I do it?

A scan is basically an image; you can't select any (or all) text on it.
The only way to get text out of a scanned image is to process it with text recognition (OCR), which is available in Acrobat or the Adobe PDF Pack service.

You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

I saw your message. Below are the problems:
Whenever I connect my iphone 3GS to my PC through a USB. My itunes software comes up automatically.
1. After that a message appears from the itunes that states that 'itunes could not connect to the itunes store, an unknown error cccured (306).
2. After the above, an alert message comes up which states that A new iphone software version 5.1 is availlable for my iphone. It then states would you like to download it and update your iphone now? With the options buttons as Cancel or Download and Update or Download Only. Whenever I clicked on Download and Update or Download Only, the next message that comes up is that The iphone Software Update Server Could not be Contacted and suggest make sure your network setting are correct and active or try again later.
The above is the challenges I am facing now.
