Pages being displayed at inconsistent sizes. Help?

Running Acrobat Pro 9 on Windows XP.
Hi. I have recently been tasked at work with scanning several laboratory logbooks to create PDF versions of the book to be archived in our network. Since all pages come from the same book, all files (saved as .PNG images, 1 image per page) are nearly identical in physical dimensions (within a 1/4 inch) and nearly identical in filesize.
However, when I import all the pages into Acrobat and merge files into a single PDF, and set it to display 2 pages side-by-side (to resemble the actual logbook) many pages appear only at roughly a 1/4 the size of the page next to it (see attached screen-shot for an example of this).
All pages should display at the same size, and I can't figure out why nearly half of them are showing up small like this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Go to Preferences > Interface tab, choose Light from Color Theme dropdown on Apearance section (upper part of the window)

How to stop Hosts landing page being displayed

Hi, I've uploaded my 3 pages to my host and when my domain name is typed into browser bar www.riflebitz.com the hosts holding page is displayed. However if I type www.riflebitz.com/ladingpage.html my page is displayed. In dreamweaver I've assigned this page as my home page but don't know how to get it to display by just typing www.riflebitz.com all help greatfully received timmer

The default page for when typing in just the domain name is normally index.html (sometimes it can be default.html) - but you would need to contact your host, but I suggest that it would be index.html
if I browse to: http://www.riflebitz.com/landingpage.html
I don't see any page at all.
However, if I navigate to http://www.riflebitz.com/default.html then I do see some type of landing page with a contact link at the bottom of the page.
I'd say you would need to re-open your landingpage.html in dreamweaver and rename it index.html and upload it to the server and you should be fine.
Please Note: The contact page has a link to Contact Page.html
You should NOT have spaces in your files names, and it is always safer to make sure you use lower case for file names as well. Some servers are case sensitive, so be sure to use index.html not Index.html

Is it possible to MANUALLY change Display Resolution (screen size) HELP!!

My screen for my iMac-G4 blew out long ago, I had a another screen (a Dell CRT-
flatscreen) hooked up and IT blew out a few days ago, I just bought an LCD
flat screen, but it needs a 1680 x 1050 resolution (WIDE screen(?)and my
iMac-G4 only goes to 1024 x 768 in the "Display" controls. So all my desktop
images are "scrunched" or "stretched".
So is there a "MANUAL" way of configuring the screen size to a "standard"
size within this Mac? or do I need to find a standard size screen?

Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Apple limited the graphics cards in iMac G4s to the native resolution of the built-in LCD i.e:
15" iMac G4 - 1024 x 768
17" iMac G4 - 1440 x 900
20" iMac G4 - 1680 x 1050.
Even when connecting a second display this could only mirror the internal at the same resolution. For the following iMac G4's it's possible to install a firmware hack to open up the full capabilities of the graphics cards:
17" 800MHz
17" 1GHz
15" 1GHz
17" 1.25GHz
20" 1.25GHz
using an application called Screen Spanning Doctor. This is risky but I guess you haven't got much to lose at this point. I've only ever heard of one Mac user actually failing to do the process right though.
You can always use Firewire Target Disk Mode to recover you client's files to another Mac.
I'd be interested if SwitchResX works too. I only have external displays much smaller than my iMacs so can't test it from that perspective.

Acrobat 9 Pro - How do I get inserted scanned pages to display the same size as the original file?

When I insert scanned pages into Acrobat 9 Pro document, the scanned pages display much larger than the original file. They are all 8.5 x 11, but the inserted pages look HUGE compared to the original pages. HELP!

Check the resolution of your scanned files compared to the PDF. A 300dpi file placed into a 72dpi will appear larger.

Xbox One not being displayed on monitor; Please help!

The monitor will not display the Xbox One's output. I've tried everything, I've unplugged both the monitor and Xbox, unplugged the HDMI from both devices and turned them both on and off. The monitor will not pick up the signal and says "HDMI:No Signal" and then "Monitor going to sleep". Thanks for the help!

I have the same problem for my computer and for you it's most likely you have a dying cord try to run out and buy a new one or borrow one from a friend to be check which cord is messing up

JSF pages to display content from external URLs

Hi,
Is it possible for a JSF page that uses ADF controls, and the PanelPage component to provide menuing, etc. to actually allow a HTML page (accessed via a URL to an external site/application) to be displayed in an area within the JSF page?
For example, clicking a menu item to an external HTML page results in the page being displayed in a Frame or similar within the JSF page?
I've tried the FrameBorderLayout control and Frame control to try to embed a Frame to display such a page via the target setting for a menu item, but that doesn't seem to work. At least not when within a PanelPage. It works within a basic JSP page.
I would have thought it would be possible for a JSF application to incorporate HTML content from other sites/servers as if part of the application. Even if this meant defining "wrapper" pages of some sort to effectively link these into the JSF application as part of it's navigation rules.
Or am I missing something?

Yes, using an iFrame tag within a verbatim tag worked, allowing me to specify an external URL to a page which is then displayed at the location where I placed the verbatim tag. I need to investigate sizing/border settings, but at least I now seem to be able to embed such pages.
This works.
I tried jsp:include as well, but that only seems to allow relative URLs to pages that a part of the application. And using the c:import JSTL tag would import a page at an external URL, but didn't seem to position it where I wanted it.

Any instance of time being displayed through Firefox is 5 hours off (+) (IE Comcast call time logs, every page print out, etc). IE and all other browers display correctly as is all of the time settings on my computer. Please help.

Any instance of time being displayed when using Firefox show the time off by +5 hours. I am in Phila so use EST. Every other setting is correct in computer. For example time call log displayed from Comcast and every page footer shows time +5 hours. I have not found anything helpful in searching the web. I always check after each upgrade to Firefox but problem persists.

Cor-el... The issue was in the autoexec.bat file. I did have the TZ set there. Removed and all is well.

IView is not being displayed in full page

I created one iView, added it into a page. I set the layout as 1 Column Full width. My view is not being displayed in entire window. What kind of property, I should set in the page.

By default, the iView's height property is fixed. After I changed iView's height property to Full page, The page displays correctly.
I setup two views in one page using one column Full width. Both the iviews are setup in one page. Now both the iViews height is set up to Full Page as well as page's height is setup to Full page. Now, the Top iView is being displayed with 3/4th of window size and bottom iView is being displayed with 1/4th of window size. I want to display both of them with equal size.

With iOS 6, the all day events showed up in the notification centre but it lacks in the upgrade iOS 7.

Same problem here. Some people pointed out that all-day events do show up in their notification center, but that seems only to be the case for birthdays (and only as text like the weather). I've tried it myself on my iPhone and iPad and it did work for birthdays but not for any other all-day events. I already sent this to Apple as a product feedback as well, as should everyone of you. The more people mention it, the faster Apple's going to fix this issue. In its current state, notification center is not a very helpful feature in my opinion. There's absolutely no point in not showing all-day events in the 'today' calendar overview.

I've just discovered that different typefaces seem to have different auto-leading in Pages. I am used to default leading being 120% of point size (or some consistent rule), but it seems this is not so any more. The same text in 10pt Times New Roman, which I would expect to line up with 10pt Palatino, for example, doesn't. I've tried using the inspector, at least to get both faces to behave the same for given settings, but I haven't been able to. How much control does Pages allow for this type of settings, and are there any hidden secrets as to how to do so? Many thanks

If you set the line spacing in the inspector to Exactly and 12 points for 10 point type, it will work the way you want.
