Pages Deleted Half My Work When Adding a Header

So im wiriting my big assignement. So far im, or was on, 5,600 words. Then I tried to add a 3rd header, at this point it deltes a whole section of my work. I revert and try again, it does it again and again then.... so I close it and reopen it and try again. So I close it again, however, this times it opens and has saved it when a whole secion on my work is gone!
So I go to File>revert and no last saves are there. It appears it has deleted 1,000 words and theres nothing I can do about it.
Now I have Omnisweep and such like, is there anyway that it has saved any previous versions which I can find through something like omnisweep?

You have not said but it sounds like you are not on OSX 10.8.5 but on OSX 10.9 and are using Pages 5, but haven't said.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs.
The syncing with iCloud means that errors propegate beyond your control.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

When selecting a menu item I used to click the left mouse button and hold it down, move the pointer to the desired menu item and release the mouse button. Everything works fine in the mine menu, but there's a problem when adding new adjustment layer from the layer panel: when I release the button nothing happens, I have to press the button again. I don't think that is user fixable, meaning you'll have to wait till adobe fixes it with an update.

Button inconsistently working when Adding dynamic rows in table

I have a very weird situation at hand.
I have several pages in my interactive form. 6 pages total.
Pages 3-6 have dynamic tables wherein I used a button to add rows to my tables.
Page 3: 2 tables working ok
Page 4: 3 tables, 1st table working ok, the rest add button not responding
Page 5-6: all add buttons are not responding
I have this javascript that should run when the button is clicked.
Table5.Data_Row5.instanceManager.addInstance(1);
I have checked the table names and body rownames and all are correct.
Would anyone point me what I did wrong? I tried deleting the buttons and recreating them and of course reentering the script again but still not working.

I got it! I forgot to tick the Repeat Row for each data item on the body row for the succeeding tables.

Prevent all page color from becoming opaque when adding a watermark with opacity

It looks like when I create a watermark AND change the opacity to something low the entire PDF becomes slightly opaque and colors are not that vivid (even if the actual text watermark is very small in the corner).
The only way I noticed fixes this problem is if I check the option to "Keep position and size of watermark text constant when printing on different page sizes".

ALMOOOST!
It did work but I don't understand why it worked on some pages and not on others. So when using this method, its worked completely fine when the watermark is applied to visible page. However, when the watermark is applied only to printed pages, some of those pages lose the water mark completely on print during the flatten/change blend space. I cant tell whats special about those pages that it works that way.
Maybe it will be just easier to use the "Keep position and size of watermark text constant when printing on different page sizes" option when adding the watermark and then everything looks evenly perfect(just need to manually center the watermark position for each file). Curiously though, any idea what could be the correlation between the "Keep position and size of watermark text constant when printing on different page sizes" and the opacity of page when adding an watermark?

My video sound does not work when added to a pdf

I just bought adobe acrobat pro and when I insert a video it plays but with no sound. I have tried several different videos (quicktime) and they all do the same thing. I am working on a mac

Think I got it to work:
Just added the SetSystemStream in the button scripts that jumps to the chapter menu. Now I can go directly to a chapter point and have the subtitles on or off, depending on the GPRM value (that is set in the Language select menu).
Not sure if this is the best way, though. Scripting can be done in many ways - I tend to use separate scripts rather than having a few and more compex scripts. Works for me - most of the time.

SSH Key login not working when added to gpg-agent

As I use gnupg, I run the gpg-agent. I run it with systemd --user and it works flawlessly. As I already run gpg-agent, I figured I might as well just add my ssh keys to it as well. Therefore I start gpg-agent with --enable-ssh-support. I use my SSH keys a lot and never had any problems with connecting to anything with a simple ssh .... or pushing things to git etc.
As the SOCKS_AUTH_SSH envvar needs to be set for ssh-add to work, I added this line to my .bashrc
export SSH_AUTH_SOCK=~/.gnupg/S.gpg-agent.ssh
Now, adding my SSH Keys with a simple ssh-add seems to work fine (no errors etc).
However, when I try to connect to a server now, the following happens:

Permission denied (publickey).
Which is very strange as id_rsa is my (ecrypted) private key. I am also prompted to enter the corresponding password when issuing ssh-add.

Yes it should be added automatically. I suppose you could try it in a new user just to start fresh and see if it works, at least then you'll have either verified that your steps were correct or incorrect.

Why do my Jquery functions stop working when adding an Edge animation to my page?

I've used Edge now for a few months on several projects and it's very useful for a designer like myself to create html5 animations as quick as Flash, but I'm noticing that everytime you add edge to a page, the jqeury it uses overwrites any others on the page and breaks other jquery based widgets. Why is this?
I've had a coder friend I work with have a look at the problem and his only solution was to put the edge animation inside an iframe, which is far from ideal.
Is there a way to use Edge and still use other jquery widgets on the page? (Basically I'm using a Nivo Slider jquery fading image box further down the page, which is breaking).

With free hosting, you get what you pay for - nothing. It's

Firefox allows me to add some pages as bookmarks and not others. For pages that don't work: when I click the star, it turns blue when I click, then goes back to being empty.

Last night I finally sat down to learn how to use Bookmarks. I had no problem creating and organizing bookmarks, but there are some pages that I cannot bookmark. One, for example, is the Gmail log-in page, which I use multiple times a day. I type in www.gmail.com, which routes me to a longer URL and the log-in page. When I click the star to make this page a bookmark, it won't work. I've also tried using the menu option "Bookmark This Page," which also doesn't work for this website. It's seems to be hit and miss as to when Firefox will allow me to bookmark a page and when it won't. I've had no problem adding many other pages; it just seems that with a handful of them I run into this issue.
I've tried closing Firefox and re-opening, which doesn't help, but that is about the extent of my troubleshooting attempts. This problem has been an issue for me for a couple of years and through several versions of Firefox. (I think I am currently running the most recent version.) It actually led me to believe early on that either Firefox Bookmarks didn't work or I just didn't have the time to figure it out. So since I've been using Firefox I have been repeatedly typing the names of my most frequented sites. I finally took time to sit down with it again last night and have found that Bookmarks will be a huge help. If I could only get ALL of my favorite pages to work...

None of the stuff in " http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite " helps. I have tried and tried and I have even wipe the computer clean still didn't help. I got the same problem as he/she has got in the first posted. Can add some web pages but not all the web pages I want.. I should have never updated to 3.6.13... That's when it all started for me, from that version..... Now Version 3.6.14 is out, I was hoping the version 3.6.14 might would fix the problem wrong again....
Funny thing is i can not even Bookmark Firefox.com!!!!!...lol
So any ideas on how to fix it other than the link giving would help.

Page Process Does Not Work When Column for APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN is not shown

I have created a Report Region based on a SQl Query. In the query I have three columns that need to be within an array, but 2 of the 3 columns should not be displayed on the report. Therefore, I don't have Show checked for them in the Column Attributes of the Report Region.
In my testing, if I don't display the columns that are within the arrays on the report and run the page process to insert records into a table, I receive the error of "no data found". In reverse, if I display the columns, my insert is successful.
Is this how the arrays work? Or is there something I have not done correctly.
Below is the query for the Report:

If you uncheck the "show" option, then the corresponding HTML for that item is not rendered on the page. Thus, when you try to inspect that item via APEX_APPLICATION.G_F02, it simply doesn't exist.
One trick that I use when I want to have hidden items on the page, but not make them take up any space, is to concatenate them to items that will be visible.
Using your query as an example, I would re-write it like this:

Previous photo files delete off iPad air when adding photos from PC

Just bought the iPad air, was trying to add a folder of photos via iTunes. They synced successfully when I tried to add another folder of photos on to iPad the first folder was deleted. What am I doing wrong?

That is how the Photos app works, photos that you sync from a computer can't be deleted directly on an iPad, instead they are removed by not including them in the next photo sync (so you are effectively telling iTunes to replace the folder that you've just synced with a different folder of photos) - so you need to select and sync all the photos that you want from your computer together in one go.

HI can anyone help. When I connect my new I pod shuffle to Itunes to add songs it adds them seems to delete the previous ones????? Also dragging doesnt seem to work to add songs?

You probably have "Replace all items while Autofilling" checked in the autofill settings (which can be found by clicking Music under shuffle in Device. Then click settings at the bottom...
Dragging doesn't work if you're not in "Manage music manually" mode...
Have you read "iPodshuffle_3rdGenUG.pdf" which is the manual available online

Bluetooth mouse stops working when adding a printer: 10.10.2

I'm using a MacBook Pro 2012 Retina, upgraded to 10.10.2. Since upgrading to 10.10.2 I have been unable to connect to my Canon MG6150 that is plugged into the USB port of the Time Capsule (3TB). Those problems will be detailed in a separate post.
I have tried deleting the printer and creating a new printer and when I click on the + and get the window to select a printer, the bluetooth mouse stops working - the message comes up to show "Connection Lost". I have to select the printer manually and only when I have returned to the main Printer window in Settings & Preferences does the mouse connection work again.
Weird. Between this and not being able to set up the scanning features again (that used to work), I'm feeling underwhelmed...

sounds like an IRQ conflict. See if disabling plug and play in the bios solves it. Arch's kernel provides this already.

ITunes has stopped working when adding movies

This issue began today, haven't had any trouble with this before. I have my movies on my iTunes, in there perfectly fine. Today I went to add more movies to my iTunes library. I use Windows, so I went to the 'Add Files to Library...' option in the top left, added a video. It didn't take any loading time, which seemed a bit out of the ordinary, then I tried to play it and my iTunes completely crashed. When I open my iTunes back up, the movie is gone completely. I have tried restarting my iTunes, restarting my computer, reinstalling iTunes, adding movies in different ways (dragging and dropping), but nothing has worked so far.
I'm fairly sure this isn't a format issue, as it's stopped working for .m4v files and .mp4 files, I've tried converting one to the other and nothing has for it to load properly into iTunes.

Still having issues :/
