Pages dissapear when moving cursor/on card games

My touch pad (synapcis) may be defective. MY computer is HP 8.1 -3 months old. This happens mostly when playing card games and when I do a web search - as I start to move my pointer toward a place I want to click; the page will disapear to the top left corner and I must take extraordinary effort to get the pointer where I want it or the same thing will happen. Driving me crazy. I would think HP would care !!

You can try to restore the original touch pad driver, using this method, and then look again through all the settings:

Forcing Page 0 when moving from article to article

I'm just getting started with these new tools.
I have a simple folio with two articles. The 2nd one has two pages. When I leave the 2nd article from page 2 and return again I want that article to force the viewer page to the first page of that article (section).
The way it works now, if you leave page 0, and navigate down, you end up back on that page when you return.

"Scroll Bar" appears when moving cursor - Satellite L305D-S5904

I just bought a Satellite L305D-S5904 for my mother.
It came with Windows Vista Home Premium.
I noticed that a tiny scroll bar appears at the cursor sometimes.
It makes navigation quite a pain.
Can you turn this feature off?
To clarify, when using the touchpad, moving the cursor, sometimes a tiny "scrollbar" appears at the point of the cursor's "arrow."
This is unbelievably aggrevating!

Maybe because you didnt work with such hi-tech touchpad??? ;) lol
This is a touchpad feature which can be disabled in touchpad properties.
Check you control panel-> mouse
There should be something about touchpad settings.
There you have to disable the Virtual scrolling.

Keyboard command mistake activates unwanted guides over image when moving cursor.

inadvertently i have hit a keyboard command that has given me an unexpected result. When I pass the cursor over an image horizontal, vertical and 45 degree angle guides pop up over various parts of the image. Also paths, anchor points, intersects and alignments are defined in very small text that follows the cursor, especially the pen tool. All of these things flash on and off as I move the cursor around the image. I find this very distracting and want to turn off this feature but I don't know which key I hit to turn it on. Any thoughts?

Remove the "stop" when moving cursor across monitors |BUILD 9860

I run a setup of 2 monitors. 1920 x 1080, and one 1440 x 900. When I try to move the cursor over from one monitor to the other it "stops" until i drag faster. Extremely annoying, is there any way to turn this off, or is it a bug?
Maybe I could keep it if it wasnt so hard to move the mouse over the screens, but this is terrible .. I cant use windows like this.
Also, its hard to find all the settings for the mouse, like the cursor acceleration etc.

It's the same in Windows 8.
I too have 2 monitors at work with Windows 10 and 2 monitors at home with Windows 8.1
On Windows 8 there is Charm panel at the right edge of the screen and Modern UI apps preview switcher at the left edge of the screen.
On Windows 10 they are disabled in Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, but it seems that traces of screen corner and edge navigation still remain.

With in Facebook I have encounter a lote of "Not Responding" erors when moving arounf the various game sites. I have ver 6.1

after upgrade to 6.0 and now 6.1, I have a response of "Not responding" A LOT in the top tab as I move from window to window. My Net work is 20gig down and I have a quad core machine. it sounds like the app. I have heard others on Facebook KOC stating the have returned to ver 5 for the same reason.

Well I'm a frequent Firefox user ad recently my cursor has started to dissapear when I'm not moving it. However when i press a key it flashes back for a second also, when I'm moving it flickers a lot (one moment its there one moment it isn't). How do i fix this?

Never saw this problem until today, first on Facebook, then on these Mozilla support pages. I had one Firefox window with multiple FB and Mozilla tabs open.
Here's my observations: On the FB and Mozilla pages, the cursor (arrow/hand) acted identical and as described here, would disappear after 2-3 seconds of inactivity or non-motion, then instantly reappear with mouse movement or key strike but only momentarily if no further motion/action occurred. Interestingly, I also had one FoxNews tab (actually FoxNewsInsider) open, and observed slightly different activity. The Cursor/hand would disappear as described above, but instead of staying invisible, it flashed on /off for what appeared to be <1 second on then <1 second off, until mouse movement or key strike. Now, here's the really interesting part ... When I opened a second FoxNewsInsider tab, the problem corrected itself with no direct action on my part to resolve the issue. I was going to close all tabs, then Firefox and perform the system reboot to correct this annoyance ... but, still have not seen the problem.
Okay, I'm not going to say viewing FoxNewsInsider webpages not only provides one perspective on news, and the added benefit of fixing cursor/hand problems .. but maybe there's some to being well informed ... Sorry folks, couldn't resist ... :) I will be watching for the disappearing cursor issue again, and will reply here with any updates or changes in my observations.

When I purchased the new iPad I was told I had to have the same apple Id as the first one, I would like them to be separate, is this possible?

You need to create a new Apple ID to use with the other iPad, then sign out in Settings>iCloud and sign in with the new ID. Of course any data such as contacts and calendars which have been synced from the first iPad will be removed from the second one when you do this.

Alternate layout created when moving pages from one document to another

I'm using CC on Windows 7 - I have 2 documents that I want to merge and make into 1 [I know people will want to know why I would want to do this - each document is the result of a different data merge - data merge can only handle one master page - so I have 2 datamerges - 2 files - and just need to merge the 2 files]
This used to work beautifully in ID 5.5 - now when I use the pages panel to move the pages to the other document - it creates an alternate layout - it is then very difficult for me to interlace alternating pages - - I use dot be able to just move the pages into place - but with eh 2 layouts it is behaving differently and in a way I do not understand. Is there any way I can get around this? or avoid the alternate layout and just have one. The 2 page sizes are identical so it is not a problem of varying size - the paragraph styles are all the same as well. I have tried to delete the alternating style but it will delete all the pages as well.

Maybe its time for me to Replace my Preferences, because I also have 8.0.2, and I tried the same thing with two new documents based on the same preset - it still made an alternate layout. When the moved page is placed in the middle of several pages (say - after page 2, of 6 pages) all the pages after the inserted one become part of the new alternate layout. No, it's a document I created and it's not locked. I did it at work and sent it to Pages so I could work at home. It opens but I can't type or edit.

Skimming the templates in the Template Chooser shows you all of the pages available in the template once you open it. You can insert the one(s) you want, even more than one of any of them. Most users don't want or need all of the different pages, especially when they start the document.

Error message when moving to a different page

I have an ASP.NET 2.0 and Crystal Reports 11.5 project that works fine
when it's being debugged and when it's on our test server, but when we move it
to our production server the user will receive an error message when moving to a
different page of the report. It's an
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object". It seems very
odd for me for something to work on the test server but not on production. Has
anyone seen this before? Thanks

When moving a page from one pdf to another I see a message "consolidating fonts" and the added page does not view properly

I am working with multiple PDF files in Acrobat Pro XI. Sometimes when I move a page from one PDF to another it does not view properly. It was fine in the source PDF, but not when moved to the desired PDF. I also see a message momentarily across the bottom of my screen that says "consolidating fonts". What must I do to fix this?

Follow these steps for Acrobat 11 .
Launch Acrobat>Tools>Print Production>Acrobat Distiller
Now in Acrobat Distiller follow these.
Select Standard in Default settings.
Go to Settings and select Edit Adobe PDF Settings.
Select Fonts and in the font source window select the fonts you want to Add.
Click Save As and then OK.

Grey trail when moving mouse cursor

Have I got a virus on my Mac when i get a grey trail when moving the mouse cursor? Please advise.

This is not malware of any kind. What it is is uncertain, but it sounds like a very serious low-level problem. I assume this gray trail is left indefinitely on your screen, unless a portion of the screen is redrawn? Try taking a screenshot by pressing command-shift-3, then open the screen shot file that appears on your desktop. Does the gray trail show up in the screenshot? If so, can you post the screenshot here? (Click the camera icon in the editor toolbar in a new post here and attach that screenshot file. Make sure there's no sensitive personal information showing in the screenshot.)
