Pages error message

I brought several files over to SL from Tiger (Apple Works).    I use Pages to open the files.   I then save the file using Pages, in which it looks like it converts the file to the Pages format.
Each time I open my files (the Pages conversion) I get a warning message that I have a missing font called New York.   I do not use the font New York.
Does anyone know what I need to do?    Will it be necessary to one day retype all of my files (100s) using Pages, or is there an easier solution? Or will I always be dismissing this warning?

My wife just created a beautiful newsletter in Pages. She went to print it off last night and closed the document while it was printing and when she went to reopen it she got the error message. I've tried the suggestions in this fourm (p.list file trash, etc) however, to no avail!
Can someone out there give me some guidance as to my options?? We would love to get the text if nothing else out of this file. I'm sensing it is a corrupting file (Pic/font) I've tried deleting the jpg's and the png file but nothing is working.

I've been using Pages for two and a half years, and I've yet to have a corrupt file (knocking on wood, nervously fingering rosary beads, burning incense). You may have a bad font or a corrupt image. One thing's for sure: when you print a Pages document, it writes printing info to the file. It's possible that it was in the process of doing that when your wife closed the document. Do you, by any chance, have a set of handcuffs? A divorce lawyer? Strong sedative?

Pages error messages: Existing docs can't be opened

I'm getting error messages in Pages when I try to save or share an existing document: "document can't be opened"
I closed pages to try again and altho the docs appear in "open recent" (as untitled Doc. 3 and 4), I can't open them...getting same error message!
(PS documents were not locked)

You may have suffered some kind of corruption; that may also have caused the issue in your other thread.
It may be worth trying the list (you may skip 5), and you may consider going straight to 6)).
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Page error message

I have purchased and downloaded several books without a problem...that is until today. Of the books I downloaded only one does not display propery. When I go to open the book I get a triangle with an explanation mark in it and the words Page Error.
What is interesting is that I can read the book just fine on my computer harddrive in the Reader Library all 360 pages, but in the EREADER PRS600 I can't even get to the first page without the error message. I have deleted and re-synced the library several times to no avail. This is the only book so far that has this problem. And the details say it is an EPUB book...so that shouldn't be the problem. All software is updated on computer and reader.
Can anyone help ?

I see the same error message but there is something slightly different in my case. I have downloaded the Idiot of Dostoyevsky translated to Turkish from a Turkish ebooks publisher. I used adobes digital editions software, turned a few pages in the computer and put the file to my reader. When on the reader I was able to open and see the cover page with a picture and I saw the first page where only "BUDALA" (Idiot) is written. As soon as I turned the page I got the error mesage. (Page Error!)
Now regardless of what I do I get the same error. I can delete the book and copy a brand new version to the reader or sd card I get the error page as soon as I open the book. I dont see any page numbers or turn pages forward or backward. All I can do is to delete the book or see the info page which Digital Rights are Full,viewable and the file is a epub file with 629.6 KB size.
My suspicion is that the page error is caused by the Turkish characters that appear on the first page.(ÅŸ,Ä±,Ä°,ÄŸ,Ã¶,Ã¼,Ã§) and the reader is stuck somehow.
I am afraid sony doesnt care about this forum and doesnt follow it at all. A few months old problem and not even a suggestion. (Not even asking "Did you try to turn it off and on again?") Anybody got lucky and found a solution?

My 650SC reader gives a page error message

I download books to my PC and they can open on my PC but when I transfer them to the reader I get Page Error!
Does anyone know the cause?
NB It is not the protected pade or DRM error but simply Page error!

Hi,
The error may occur if the Reader has not been authorized to your Reader (eBook) Store account or if the Reader did not register properly to the account. To resolve this issue,manually authorize the Reader to your account.
This issue could also occur if the book you are trying to transfer is large or if you are transferring multiple books at a time. In this case, the message may appear for a few moments, but the transfer will complete. To avoid this, transfer one book at a time.
Also, make sure that the Firmware update 1.0.00.14080 is installed on the Reader.

I've been catching up on The Office online through my xfinity streampicks subscription, but now I get an error message saying "Hmmm, we're having trouble watching that page." I just watched an episode yesterday, and the last season JUST ended at the beginning of the summer. Is it really gone from streampicks??

I receive the "problem loading page" error message many times daily

I frequently receive the error message "problem loading page." "Server not found... Firefox can't find the server at www.whatever.com" shows up in the window and I click the "Try Again" button. Sometimes I have to click the Try Again button several times to connect to the desired website.
What should I look at to solve this problem on my 3 office computers connected via cable to an older neatgear router?

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

I want to get rid of this page being printed , as it prints all the time.
Its might be a small thing, but i am unaware of it.

I am able to add images to my personal webspace without any issue. If you can give me some more information about the process you are using, maybe I can play with it a little and see if I can find a solution.
What browser and version are you using?
What format are the images you are trying to add? (.bmp, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg...?)
How large are the files?
Can you give me a step-by-step of the path you are taking to upload the files?
Have you tried uploading the files from a different location? (For instance, if they are in your My Documents folder, try moving them to your Desktop and upload from there.)
Using an FTP client is a valid workaround, but if there's something broken then Verizon or Trellix (or both) need to fix it.

I keep getting messages that a scrip is running on the page. It used to be once every couple of days, then every day, now every couple of minutes. An example of the message:
"Script: chrome://searchshield/content/avgls-active.js:70"
How do I fix this?

The problem is caused by a malfunctioning AVG add-on. Try disabling the AVG search shield add-on.
# In the Tools menu select Add-ons
# In the list of Extensions click on the AVG extension to select it
# Click on the Disable button, then re-start Firefox
This should stop the error.

Personal Web Page Error Message

Has anyone else had problems with the website builder? Last night I was on the phone with tech support for 2 hrs trying to figure out why I can't add pictures to my website. Everytime I tried to add photos or text I got the message, " The type of item you are attempting to insert has not been implemented."
It was finally recommended that I delete my page and start from scratch, which I did and still I got the same error.
Anyone have this problem and has a solution for me.

Annoying align page error message

Hi,
I replaced a print cartridge and now every time I turn on the printer it asks to align the page. I am wasting both paper and ink because of this. How can I get this message to stop appearing?

Which printer do you have?
This could be related to contaminated contact plates on the cartridges or in the carriage. You could try removing the cartridges and then clean the copper plates on the cartridges and in the carriage (do not clean the underside of the cartridges as that might damage the printhead).
With some printers (PSC 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500 series and a few more) you need to scan the alignment page after it's printed. On other printers you can bypass the alignment, see this page for more information:

I am receiving a Problem Loading page error message in the title bar. Also Unable To Connect message.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Error message "this software cannot be installed on this computer" - itunes

I had used this software called "uninstaller" like a "Yank" file, to uninstall my old itunes due to computer problems.
I had also used my software restore CD to reinstall my old itunes 3 back. Right now, I have downloaded the newest itunes to upgrade my itunes, at the start of the installation page, error message above appears.
I have the right requirements for ver itunes 6. I have a G3 800Mhz ibook, Mac OS X 10.2.8. Why does error message appears? What can I do to solve this problem? Reformatting my com is the least i want to do...again...

Are you using a retail 10.5. upgrade DVD or did you borrow the 10.5 DVD from another Mac? Also please check to see if your iMac meets the minimum requirements for 10.5 which are:
