Pages files not showing up in iTunes

I have documents that I created on the iPad using Pages.
I have manually backed up using iVloud and This Computer in iTunes.
In iTunes when I go to Apps, File Sharing and click on Pages, no files show up.
Can you tell me how to get them to show?
Cheers, Mike

I don't have the Pages app, but it's help page says :
Export a document to your computer:
1. Open the document you want to export, and then tap in the toolbar.
2. Tap “Share and Print,” and then tap “Send to iTunes.”
3. Tap the document format you want to export to: Pages, PDF, or Microsoft Word.
4. Connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes on your computer. After a moment, your iOS device appears in the left side of the iTunes window (under Devices).
5. In iTunes, select your iOS device, and then click Apps.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the Apps window, and then select Pages (in the Apps list under File Sharing).
7. Select the name of the document you want to transfer to your computer and click “Save to.”
8. In the window that appears, navigate to the location where you want to store the document, and then click Open.

  • Ringtone file not showing up in itunes

when i open itunes, the file where ringtones goes on the top, next to apps, movies, or music, does not show up. how do i get or create a file for ringtones so that i can sync with my iphone?

Open Edit > Preferences > General tab, make sure Tones (formerly Ringtones) is ticked.
This label changed with iTunes 10.5.1.42 which also changes the folder used to store Tones in the media folder.

  • Audiobooks mp3 files not showing up in iTunes or on shuffle?

I recently purchased some audio books that are mp3. They were a zip file, and I extracted the files, but they won't show up in iTunes. I attempted to just drage the files onto my shuffle (which appeared to work, as I received a "copying" message), but they aren't showing up there either. Help!

    Starting from scratch...
Extract the files from the zipped folder. In Windows 7, right-click the zipped folder and select Extract All...
You should be given an option about where you want to put the extracted files. If not, or it you need to move those files, the usual place to put them is in the Music/iTunes/iTunes Music folder. I suggest that you put audiobooks in a folder named Audiobooks (to keep things organised). You must move them before importing them into iTunes. If you move them afterwards, iTunes will lose them. If there is not currently an Audiobooks folder in iTunes, then create one. So looking into the folders, the path should be as follows:
    Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Audiobooks/<artist name>/<album title>/ and then the individual MP3s.
    Once you have the MP3s where you want them, it should be possible to drag the folder into iTunes. Alternatively, in iTunes;
    so that you can then select Add Folder to Library;
and simply navigate to the folder that has the audiobook files in and add.
That's it. They are now in your iTunes Library.
However, you will probably find that the files import into your iTunes as Music files, and you may want to change them to Audiobooks. To do that, in iTunes, find the files you have just imported, highlight all of them and then select File/Get Info/Options>Media Kind and change the Media Kind to Audiobooks.

  • File not showing up inside iTune

Hi. I have some albums I bought from iTunes store that came with a pdf album liner file. The pdf liner used to show up inside iTunes, but they no longer do, even though they are inside the correct folder and can be seen via Finder. When I add them to iTunes library via File -> Add to Library the liner just gets moved to Unknown Artist/Unknown Album folder.
How do I add the pdf liner files so that they can be seen from inside iTunes within the correct album? Thanks.

  • My firefox page does not show the bar that shows me file, edit, tools, etc bar. How do I get it back. thanks

My Firefox page does not show the bar on top where you have "file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools, help etc

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. <br />
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

The home page does not show the awesome bar or the file, edit, history, bookmarks, tools or help options anymore. how can I get these feature to come back up. All it shows now is latest headline & getting started.

    * In Firefox 3.6 versions on Windows and Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux it's possible to hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu of a toolbar.
    * Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
    * Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

Where are you looking for the "Burn"?
You should be seeing it, when you select a playlist or a smart playlist in the sidebar and then use the command "File > Burn Playlist to ..." or ctrl-click or right click the playlist and select the Burn command from the pop-up menu.

  • IPod Touch 4g not showing up in iTunes?

Hello, I really need some help. Until recently my iPod touch 4g is not showing up in iTunes. I've been to the page on Apple's site that helps with this, and after several tries of each step, I cannot get it to work still. It comes up on my computer with it's name, and it knows it's an Apple Device, it just won't come up in iTunes. Help? :S

    plug in your device.
Ok, I got mine working by doing the following.
Go to Start, right click my computer, properties, device manager
Portable devices or USB (Wherever you see the Apple Device)
Right click, update driver, browse folders, then navigate to,
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers. (if your on 32bit)
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.  (if your 64bit)
select the drivers folders and then windows should automatically pick it up as a usb device.
Worked on my new ipone 4s and new ipod touch 4g
Hope this works for you too.

  • Phone is not showing up in iTunes.  I've tried everything.

I have windows XP, iTunes 7.0.1.8, and a Motorola SLIVR.
When I connect my phone to my computer via USB, it sometimes does not show up in iTunes. if it does show up, anytime i try to transfer songs, or delete songs, or access the phone's music files in any way, i get an error message that says "The mobile phone "SLIVR" cannot be updated. Thre required folder was not found." and no changes are made.
Here is what I've done to attempt to correct:
    1. Reinstalled iTunes with the latest download from their site. no luck.
    2. Checked my USB settings on phone, it is set to Memory Card.
    3. Un-plugged and restarted my computer and phone.
    4. Tried re-formating, but the option wasn't there. I went to Settings>Phone Status>Storage Devices>Card, which took me to the Details page on my card. I hit the menu key, and there is no option to format. The only thing in the menu says "Copy All Text".
    5. Plugged a different SLIVR in, and it still did not work.
    6. Plugged my SLIVR into a different computer, and it works (had to re-sync and erase all my files, but was able to transfer songs to my phone).

it could be the cord. i have that same issue with my phone and it was the cord. you're not supposed to store the usb cord (or any other electrical cord) in a bunched up manner. anyway, i played around with my cord by bending it in different directions and now the cord works and my phone is recognized again. if all else fails, best to buy a new cord.

  • Another Apple TV not showing up in iTunes...

Ok, this is the config: Apple tv Software 1.1, iMac Intel 07/2007 with OS X 10.5.1, iTunes 7.6. All of a sudden the Apple tv did not show up in iTunes anymore (after working perfectly before). I have another MacBook and a Windows Vista System, both have no connection problems with the atv.
The atv can be pinged from the iMac, who does not show it in iTunes, without lag or packet loss. There is no firewall enabled. The atv connects perfectly to the internet and to the other computers (MacBook and Vista PC) via WLAN.
I did anything described on the support page to try to resolve the problem. I resetted the atv, I re-installed itunes... i upgraded to Leopard (after the problem showed up)... not resolving this issue.
    Any clues?

My ATV mysteriously disappeared from iTunes today as well. I'd been using it all weekend to play music. Today I come home form work and it has disappeared from iTunes.
I restarted everything including the ATV. It will show up in iTunes at first but then I get a message that I might have a firewall enabled because iTunes can't communicate with the ATV. It gives me port umber to stop blocking. Then the ATV disappears again.
No firewalls turned on (Leopards Firewall is useless anyway since you can't specify numbered ports to allow communication through.) Nothing has changed in my setup.
I tired linking the ATV to my Macbook Pro Core Duo (G networking) and it kind of works. I got it to start syncing files but the progress bar in iTunes doesn't update. It stays stuck on one file. But the ATV is copying the files because after I lost patience I canceled the sync and found that some of the media had been copied over. When I tried to sync again I got the same error about a possible firewall blocking the port. After a few iTunes relaunches I got ATV to show up in iTunes again and it resumed trying to copy files over. Again the progress bar just stuck on one song.
The only thing I can think of is some kind of major interference that is nearby and out of my control. The ATV shows full strength in the Wifi Signal. It can connect to the internet and YouTube. But its iTunes connection is just plain flaky. I've switched on interface robustness in the AirPort base station. Still nothing.
Sorry I can't be of any help. Maybe more squeaky wheels get grease faster.
I'm so glad this thing broke right before "Take 2"

  • I have downloaded 2 movies from itunes to my ipad, but they are not showing up on itunes.  where are they?  how can i find them?

I have downloaded 2 movies from itunes to my ipad 2, but they are not showing up in itunes.  where can i find them?

Tap the Videos app and tap the movies button at the top of the page.
The iTunes app on your iPad is just a conduit to the iTunes Store.  To play your purchases, use the iPod app or the Videos app.

  • My library will not show up in Itunes after moving library

I moved my library folder from my C drive (my primary drive) to my D drive because I was running out of space on my C drive. I did this through My Computer and not through iTunes. Then, my library does not show up in iTunes.
I moved the folder back to my C drive and everything, but to no avail. I read the tutorial on the Apple website called "Moving your iTunes folder," and I read the first 1,000 or so posts and nothing really solved my problem. There were other posts that were sort of related, but my case differs in that I moved the folder back to the same place it was before and nothing showed up.
This happened before, and I was able to fix it. I thought I did the same thing again, but apparently not, since it's still not showing up. I tried every imaginable thing. I looked at under preferences, advanced, and then made sure the iTunes music folder was the same as the one I had my files in. Still, nothing is showing up. I know where my files are and everything, but iTunes acts like no files were even imported.
I have tried importing songs into iTunes, but it doesn't show up on iTunes, so that rules out importing my files again.
Please help me. I really am at a loss of what to do. Thanks so much!

    hey.
finally somebody with the same problem! i bought a new external drive because i was running out of space and backed up my entire library. then my computer crashed and i wanted to take advantage of a clean drive and not add my whole library back onto my computer. i'd love to be able to access my music folder on the external and have that show up as my library on iTunes when connected...
i followed all the steps as closely as possible and am pretty confident that my advanced preferences in iTunes are correct, but the library does not show these songs from the external drive. have you had any feedback or figured it out on your own?! i hope so, i'm at a deadend.
