my mates just downloaded os x mavericks and got pages for free i downloaded it and its asking for the full price how come and is there away i can get if or free thank you danny ive got a macbook pro mid 2012

iWork suite is only free for users who purchased new macs October 22nd, 2013 or later. You do not qualify.

Si vous avez utilisé la commande Save As Template depuis Pages, il y a forcément un dossier
iWork > Pages
contenant Templates > My Templates
comme il y a un dossier
iWork > Numbers
contenant Templates > My Templates
Depuis le Finder, tapez cmd + f
puis configurez la recherche comme sur cette recopie d'écran.
puis lancez la recherche.
Ainsi, vous allez trouver vos modèles personnalisés dans leur dossier.
Chez moi, il y en a une kyrielle en dehors des dossiers standards parce que je renomme wxcvb.template quasiment tous mes documents Pages et wxcvb.nmbtemplate à peu près tous mes documents Numbers.
Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

Can I download Pages for free onto my late 2012 macbook pro

Can I download Pages for free onto my late 2012 Macbook Pro with retina display and 8 gb of memory. The machine is running Yosemite Versus 10.10.1.

Pages is free for those that have purchased a new Mac. If you have never owned Pages before, then it is a purchase product for you. I suggest you look at the product reviews in the App Store, before you rush to purchase it. It is not a Word clone either.

My Ipad has been locked (after wrong passcode) and tried to connect to Itunes but no success. Much appreciated for your help please.

I tried the following but no success:
1. Unplug the sync cable from device.
2. Turned off device (slide to power off).
3. Pressed and hol the Home botton and pluged in the sync cable.
4. Hold Home button until "Connect to iTunes" but this message did not appear
So couldn't go any further than this.

Reinstalling pages for free on different apple products is it possible?

I purchased an older version of pages on my ipad a year or so ago , I no longer have the ipad but I have my trusty mac book and iphone.
I would like to install the pages app on both my mac and iphone fro convenice however i do not wish to have to pay again for the privilege, can I reinstall the app for free? As currently even when im signed into my account pages does not show as a purchased item yet I have paid for the app. Many Thanks, Chris

You can install Pages for free in the iPhone, but not on your MacBook. Pages has got the same version for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, so when you purchase it in the App Store, you can install it as many times as you want in all your iPhones, iPads and iPods touch for free. If you don't see it listed in Purchases in the iPhone, see if it's hidden, and if so, unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4919
Respecting to the MacBook, Pages has got a different version for Macs, so you have to buy Pages at the Mac App Store if you want to use it in your Mac. After doing that, you will be able to install it as many times as you want in all your Macs for free

You can't. Excel is a commercial product sold by Microsoft in an Office "package" and not as a stand-alone product.
If you need to be able to open and save Excel documents on your Mac, however, you could try the free LibreOffice.

Tables in Pages for iOS help

Hello all hope you're well. It's the first time i am using pages for iOS and i have searched the internet for some help but cannot find mt answer i was hoping you guys might know how to help me. When i create a table and it runs onto the next page, the writing in the main header title carries onto the next page but i do not want it too i just want the table to carry on. As you can see below i do not want the date in the grey bar to show up. Is there a way i can rectify this?

Unfortunately your screen shot image does not display. Not 100% sure what your issue is, but I'll take a shot:
If you wish to prevent the header from appearing on any subsequent pages that the table spans, you will actually need to remove the header and use the first row for that purpose:
Tap on the table to select it
Tap the format tool icon (paint brush)
Tap Headers
Tap the minus sign ( - ) beside Header Rows.
Reformat background color or other style characteristics for the first row if needed.

HT5484 Does it mean the 3rd-party iOS developers can use the fonts listed in 'Additional Information' of this page for free?

On the page ‘iOS 6: font list’, there's an Additional Information section, listing a series of fonts _not_ pre-installaed in iOS 6. It also says that ‘Apps can also install the following fonts as necessary.’ Does it mean that Apple has already paid for the licenses of these fonts, and they allow 3rd-party usage for free? (I.e., may I bundle these fonts to my iOS app?)

getting error message 2324 when downloading the latest update of itunes help please.
Will not let me uninstall itunes from my computer, gives me the message that I don't have access need administrator. ( I am the only user of this computer)

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

ISync for Mac - Help please!

I have a Nokia N70 and am trying to update my contacts from my Address Book. I have up-to-date OSX 10.4.10 and iSync 2.4 and the phone is being recognised, so a good start! My problem is that my updated Address Book entries are not being transferred, somehow an old version of my Address Book is being used by iSync.
I've tried restarting the Mac, clearing all contacts from my phone and sync-ing again (repeatedly), but I still get the contacts from the old version of Address Book loaded into the phone.
I'm not a Mac expert, can anyone smarter than me help please?

There's an actions folder. It's your hard drive>library>application support>adobe>photoshop elements>8.0>Locale>en_US (this one is different if you aren't in the US)>workflow panels>actions

Just open the App Store.app which should be on your Dock:
Search for Pages > NB the appallingly low rating it gets > click on Install
