I hâve heard that i soule hâve pages... iLife ... For free fini buy à new iPad and now that i have a new iPad i nées tout pay for it. I have probably done something wrong but what CAN i do to have pages numbers iLife iWork .... Free???

If I understand correctly what you are asking, just plug your new iPad into iTunes and click 'Apps'. Scroll down until you find 'Pages' and click 'Install'

Pages fonts for iPad

Pages for iPad and Mac: I don't know if it the same when using all fonts but when I use the Didot font (my preferred font) on Pages for the iPad, apostrophes appear different to how they do when using the same font on the Macbook version of Pages. I constantly switch between devices and was wondering, does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Or if indeed you have experienced similar problems in terms of the look of your text when using what should be the same settings on iPad and Macbook.
I cannot afford to check for and correct descrepencies (however minor) in the look of my text so I would be very grateful for any advice on this.

I can't speak specifically about this particular font issue - but I can tell you that I lose some formatting when I go from Pages documents on my iPad to the same document on my MacBook. I just don't think that the two apps are completely and totally compatible yet across the different devices. That has been my experience anyway.

Does Pages 11 for ipad have full set of templates?

I am using Pages 11 or my ipad 3. I have Pages 09 on the MacBook pro. Do they have the same templates?

Pages for iPad is version 1.6.1. If you have both, then you can no doubt see for yourself exactly what the differences in the templates are. I don't think Apple has documented the differences, except for

Trying to download iWorks at the App Store but it's asking for $9.99 each? I was under the impression that these three apps where supposed to be free for the new Air?

Try restarting your iPad. That often gets the device correctly registered and will allow the iWork apps to then be downloaded for free.

i think your RAM is so low, i have 3gb ram and has some problem when firefox opened and worked for many hours.

Numbers & Pages Apps for iPad. Blank Screen looking at iCloud.

Apps work correctly when iCloud Documents & Data turned off and apps preferences delselect Use iCloud.
Once use iCloud is selected under iCloud preferences and App preferences startup sceen goes to a blank screen. ie. No + symbol on upper left etc.
Using iOS 7 with latest updates and newest Numbers/Pages on a iPad Retina display.

How is the data accessed on the PC?
Is there an all in one program running on the pc to access the data?

I have pages and keynote on my ipad. I understand that these can now be put on my iphone free of charge as they are on my ipad. When I go to the App store it asks me to buy at the usual price. How do I get them free?

Given the size of the app, deggie's suggestion is the best way to do it for numerous reasons... If you sync your iPad on a regular basis, it's already on the computer. Go to Apps and click the check for updates thing in the bottom right. Download the latest update, then sync your phone (assuming both use the same Apple ID and you sync them both to the same computer. If you sync them to different machines, you'll need to physically copy the app. If they are activated with different Apple IDs, you're hosed. You can use a purchase app on any iDevice you own provided it's registered with the same Apple ID.

You are logged in with the same account that you originally activated the iPad with ? If you are then they (iMovie, GarageBand, Pages, Numbers, Keynote) should be free to download (click on the 'iPad App Collections' button at the bottom of the Featured tab in the store, then 'Apps Made By Apple' on the next screen) : Free Apple apps for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 8 - Apple Support
If they aren't showing as free then try logging out of your account by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab and then log back in and see if they then show as free.

I believe so - like any app, once you've downloaded them they should be tied to your AppleID, not any one device.
So as long as you log in to the App store on the iPad 2 with the same AppleID you should see them as being re-downloadable for you. Look for them in your purchased content section of the App store.

My Pages app for iPad tells me I can't open a document and even iCloud won't let me download it to my Mac, how can I recover my document?

I really don't know what happened to Pages. First I was using the app, working on a document and everything was fine. I updated it a couple of times and there was no problem. Then, when I tried to open it once more snd continue to work with it, a message appeared telling me that the document had been modified in other iPad. Usually this would make sense but not this time because this file was only used on my iPad. So I chose to keep the document version created on my iPad and **** got loose since then. The document could't open, every time I tried, a message told me "The file cannot be open", so I read A LOT of what to do in this horrible case and tried to open it via iTunes but the option withbthe little arrow that usually works for send the file via e-mail, or to dropbox, or to print appear like I can't use it for anything so most of my options and hopes died. Then on a Mac I tried to dowñoad the file to see if there I could open it or at least change the file code from .pages to .zip and then unzip it but I can't even dowload it form iCloud so you see, I'm desperate. I need help, please! The document is very very important so could you tell me how can I recover it?

Why isn't iwork free for ipad mini on November 1, 2013

I heard that iwork and other APPLE apps were supposed to be free on November 1, 2013. When I checked on my ad mini and my iphone, it says you have to purchase it for $10. My devices' version is 7.0.3

Why is the Pages app for iPad Mini not working?

For the last few days I have been having major issues with the word processing application Pages for the iPad. It is taking a very long time to show me my documents, then it takes just as long to open up documents. Then when it finally opens up the document I have selected; the entire functionality is extremely slow and sluggish.
I turned the iPad on and off several times to see if that would help. I deleted the pages app. I even freed up some extra space on the iPad. None of these things have resolved anything.
If it is at all relevant I am using the most recent version of Pages (especially since I re-downloaded it). I am also using the latest version of iOS 8 on the iPad. My iPad is synched to iCloud. I have a maximum storage capacity of 20 gb (to which I have only used 675 kb). I am using the first generation iPad Mini (which is the very first iPad mini)
What could be the problem?
Should I reset the factory settings of the entire iPad? I'm at a loss of how to resolve this.

The problem may be due to slow internet access to icloud where the document is being stored and saved.
Try creating a new document which is not on iCloud to see how the performance is.

Can pages purchased for ipad be installed on imac snow leopard?

We purchased pages for our new ipad and were told at the store that we can also install this onto our imac once we upgraded to snow leopard, Mac OS X (10.6). Have made the update and now want to find out how to install pages onto it.

Please come back and let us know what happens when you try it. I'm telling you what I have gathered from the advertising and from what I've read about the two versions, not personal experience. It would be great to hear a first hand account. It's worth upgrading to Snow Leopard in any case.
Pages for the Mac will cost you about 20USD from the Mac App Store in OSX 10.6.6. You will be allowed to install it on all the compatible Macs you own, just as you will be able to install your iPad copy of Pages on all the iPads you own.

Maximum InDesign Page Size for iPad

I want to creat a horizontal publication and use smooth scrolling for all articles. I understand that the InDesign documents should be single-page layouts that are longer than the page/screen size (1024 pixels). All the articles in the document will have different length/height. Is there a maximum size?

A horizontal page has a height of 768 pixels. I’m not aware of a set maximum but just because you can make it very long doesn’t mean you should.
The primary decision should be based on reader experience and FWIW, I do not like smooth scrolling articles unless there is a real reason to use them and I’ve yet to see any publication using them for every article.
