Pages free on older Macbook?

I bought a new Macbook Pro that came with free Page, Numbers, and Keynote. Can I now get these free on my older macbook pro? I use both computers but do not see these apps as purchased in the app store.

When I go to to thw app store on the new computer they are shown as "installed" but on the new computer they are listed as "19.99". I am signing in on both computers using the same apple ID

On the app store, when I look for top free apps, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote show up. But then the little box with their price says $19.99. I got my macbook pro in August, 2012, if that makes any difference. I don't know the exact date, but if that's important, I could find it if you tell me how. I don't want to buy it if I have to pay. How do i get free keynote, pages, numbers for my Macbook Pro 15inch?

Hi i would like to check whether i am able to get any free keynote, pages, numbers on my Macbook Pro 15inch. I bought my macbook on 25th Nov 12. My version is updated to OS X Maverick.

For software discs, there are two cases:
a) came with 10.6. In this case order the replacement DVD from Apple.
b) came with 10.7. In this case there may be no replacement discs. Start up with Command-R and install 10.7 from the Internet.
This varies slightly depending on EXACTLY which model you have.

If you purchased Pages in the Mac App Store, open the App Store, log in with your Apple ID, go to Purchases and download that application. If you don't see it, check that it is hidden, and if so, unhide the application > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928
If you purchased Pages on a DVD, insert it and install iWork. Then, open  > Software Update, and install the latest version

I'm using two MacPros simultaniously, the old one for iTunes, and the new one for the other things. My new one has no problems, so am wondering if there is an easy way to correct the older MacPro's contrast problems. The computer is over three years old, and I'm wondering also if this failure is an aging sign. (I also have other problems, such as a noisy DVD drive, which is part of the reason I bought a new MacBook Pro.)

Is the older MBP a pre-Unibody model from early 2008? If so, it could be having this problem:

If so, you would be entitled to a free repair.
The lost contrast could be considered distorted video.
Do you have an external monitor? If the external shows the same lost contrast, the graphics chip is likely the culprit. If the external is OK, then you probably have an issue with the built in display or possibly with its connections.
You may also want to check in Universal Access to see if the contrast bar is set in its normal position (all the way to the left).
Apple has a special test they can run to diagnose the NVIDIA issue, so if you have access to an Apple Store, make an appointment at the genius bar to have it run.

Iam trying to install my Photoshop CS4 onto my new iMac that I used on an older Macbook Pro that no longer works but when I try to install it I get an error code 6. Any help is greatly appreciated.

These illustrate what I'm experiencing.
Image #1 - Shows the template file open and the place it is and always has been saved.
When this template is saved DW does not offer to update the site pages that use this template as expected.
So I attempt to update the pages via Modify:Templates:Update Pages and this is where I encounter the 'error -43' message.
You asked for a file. Please be more specific as to what file or files. Presume you'd want the source code in a text file, correct?

Is this a one time sync or do you want to keep them synced all the time?
If it's a one time sync you want to use Setup Assistant to migrate your data from the old machine to the new one. You can use the Lion Setup Assistant tips for help.
If you want to always keep them synced you have several alternatives. First is you can wait for iCloud which will be released this Fall according to Apple. You can find information about iCloud at www.apple.com/icloud. Several years ago I began using a tool called Synctogether which syncs Bookmarks, Calendars, Contacts, Widgets, Dock Items, Mail Accounts and Mail Signatures. You just check what you want synced, for example I do Bookmarks, Calendars and Contacts. This app sells for about $49 I think, however if I were you I'd wait for iCloud which will give you 5GB (which is a LOT) for free.

Then, you're entitled to download the pre-installed apps for free from AppStore, just log-in with that Apple-ID...-

when your phone is plugged in, on itunes you click your device. and on the device summary page, there are 4-5 tabs. one of the tabs is photos. you can choose the photos file you want to add to your phone there.

Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mavericks if your computer meets the requirements.

If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.

Converting Appleworks 6.2.3 documents created on an iMac OS 9.0.4. to Pages on my new MacBook Pro OS 10.8.3.

I have many Appleworks 6.2.3 documents created on an iMac OS 9.0.4. I want to convert these files to Pages on my new MacBook Pro OS 10.8.3. so I can share the documents with newer computers that use Microsoft Word. How do I do this? Pages can't read my Appleworks documents. When I try to open the older document with Pages, the window says, "The document “Name” couldn’t be opened." These older documents show up on my new computer as Unix Executable Files. Any help would be appreciated.

No release of Pages v5 can open AppleWorks, Pages '05, Pages '06, Pages '08, or RTF documents. Sometimes, it cannot open its own documents.
You will need to do one of the following:
Borrow your MacBook Pro back until you can export all your incompatible documents to MS Word (Which Pages v5 can open)
Install your iWork '08 DVD on your new Air, and then immediately apply the following Apple Updaters. Again Export to MS document formats.
Pages v3.0.3
Numbers v1.0.3
Keynote v4.0.4
Purchase iWork '09 DVD, and then immediately update with Apple iWork 9.3 updater.
Open the document(s) that Pages v5 won't permit
Save as Pages '09 v4.3 documents, or export as MS Word
Upload to Zamzar, and convert to MS Word (free for limited volume)
No sensitive documents
Email notification within 3 - 4 minutes with MS Word document download link
After you do either item 2 or 3, run Disk Utility and verify/repair application permissions on your boot drive. Open your converted documents in Pages v5.
