Pages from App Store needs reinstalling every few days???
I purchased Pages 09 through the Mac App Store a few weeks ago. Every few days I discover that I cannot save work in Pages, the app thinks I have an unlicensed version and need to purchase a key to use it. I start the Mac App Store and it shows Pages as needing to be installed, although it already is. Why does this process keep repeating itself, and how can I resolve the issue once and for all?
FYI, I have deleted the app twice and then reinstalled it via the MAS, and still the issue persists. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
Here is what happens:
I purchased Pages 09 on my MacBook Air shortly after the Mac App Store opened. I have also installed a second instance of it, via the MAS on my desktop machine. The desktop instance runs without problems, but the MacBook Air copy does not. Every few days, when I open the Pages application and attempt to save work I am doing, a prompt pops up to say that I need to PURCHASE a key to be able to save work, suggesting that I am just using a demo, when in fact I did buy this copy. I do not remember whether or not the MacBook had a DEMO of Pages installed on it prior to buying it through the MAS, but that may have been. If so, this is likely causing some confusion. Surely there is a way to remedy this problem? I can't keep reinstalling Pages twice a week in order to use it on the MacBook Air!
And yes, I have deleted the Pages application (dragged into the Trash and emptied Trash) before reinstalling via the MAS, and that did not fix the problem.

I have purchased some app's like Whatsapp, Flashlight and more from App Store and after about 3 days of usage, all refuse to open up. I have received acknowledgement of payment via email. What should I do to reinstate them?

Just hope that i would not be forced to download free Apps every thir day.

Deleted app appears in updates page from App Store
I had installed an app from store named Who is the killer. I deleted the app and now shows as an update and i can't get rid of it. I do not have any back up disks attached. How can i remove this from app store's update section?
If i hide this into purchases, it still shows in updates an i have 1 badge in the app store. I followed a few stepes as searching with easy find files which i think were related, reindexed spotlight and i still see the update available for the deleted app. If i click update, it just reinstalls it and so on.

Trying to update "Pages" from App Store. An old email address shows up and am unable to delete.
I am able to purchase a new app from Apple App store using my current email address and password. I am not able to update a previously purchased app (for instance "Pages") that I purchased some time ago when I had a different email address. When I try to update Pages a "grey out" edition of my old email address is sitting in the id box and I am not able to delete it or get it out of the box and use my newer (2 years) email address. I have even tried to update my current email address with a new password which has absolutely no effect when I try to update Pages. Anyboday have an idea on how to get the old email address out of the id box?
Delete Pages and then download it from the desired Apple ID. This may require repurchasing it.

I have purchased an app from the store used it for a few days , now it won't open properly .its just a black screen with a circle in bottom right corner with a 1x in it . Anyone know how I can re open this please as I need this app urgent thanks
From the home screen, double click the home button to bring up the Recently used App list. Find the App with the problem and hold your finger on it untl the Apps start to shake. When that happens tap on the (x) on the right side corner of the app to close it.
Tap the home button again to get back to the home screen, and try to open the App again.
If that doesn't work, try resetting the iPad. (there should be no data loss):
Press and Hold the Power and home buttons until the Apple Logo shows up. Ignore any sliders that may appear.
When the iPad turns back on, try opening the App again. -
I have 2 user accounts on my Macbook; I purchased Pages for one but can't get it recognized on second; is there a way to pull it up on second user account, or do I have to purchase it for each?
Is Pages in the Apps folder or has it been moved? Apps in Mac HD/Applications should be available for every user account on the Mac unless you have enacted Parental Restrictions that make the app unavailable for a user to access.

Downloaded Numbers are Pages from App store - neither are working?
Downloaded both today and neither are working.
Once they downloaded i clicked on the icons as usual though the launchpad and application folder. both apps did not respond and i had to force quit. i have also reinstalled both applications.
i am hugely annoyed having spent this money for either of the apps to work.
Please help. i am also very new to Mac systems having previously used PC's so please make the instructions as easy as possible.

Once they downloaded i clicked on the icons as usual though the launchpad and application folder. both apps did not respond and i had to force quit. i have also reinstalled both applications.
i am hugely annoyed having spent this money for either of the apps to work.
Please help. i am also very new to Mac systems having previously used PC's so please make the instructions as easy as possible.

Time Capsule stops working, needs restart every few days
Its a brand new 2TB Time Capsule, I've had it maybe 2 weeks. I'm new to Mac, I got a Retina MBP for myself and one for my wife. It normally works great but lately the icon at the top bar has had an exclamation point showing it couldnt back up. No matter what I do I cant make it find the disk. I'll go upstairs and feel the Time Capsule and I can tell the drive is no spinning. Its like it spins down and never starts up again. I have to restart the Time Capsule and then it starts working again. This has happened twice in the last week. I cant find any real settings other than Airport Utility or Time Machine settings. Any help would be great!
This is an issue that started with Lion and is even worse on Mountain Lion... so there are no easy solutions..
Reboot you are doing is the easiest..
But you can read the instructions.. you can load airport utility 5.6 if you still use Lion and disconnect all users.. that usually gets things going again. Unfortunately apple eliminated that option from the toyland version in ML and did not make 5.6 available to install.

My rechargable batteries are needing charging every few days.
Hi All
I have recently moved over to the official apple rechargable batteries and purchased at my local apple store.
First off i charged a set of batteries for my apple wireless keyboard which lasted a good two to three weeks.
After this they only seem to last for a couple of days with light use?
This cant be right can it?
I have tried charging them overnight three days ago and today i have the "keyboards battery very low" message.
Im thinking of returning them for another set, what do you think?

It could be the latest firmware that is the problem.. that changed about 1-2months ago.
You can try doing a factory reset and a new clean setup but more than likely the issue will continue.
To go back to earlier firmware hold down the option key when you choose firmware. It will then show older as well as new versions.. Select 7.6.1 or even 7.5.2
Factory reset after the firmware and do the setup again. -
I have several icons on the navigation toolbar that I dragged from the Customize screen. Every few days these icons disappear. In order to get them back, I have to drag them again from the Customize screen. How can I keep this from happening? I'm using Firefox 8.0.1, but the same thing happened in earlier versions.

“iBoostUp.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “iBoostUp.app” and download it again from the App Store.
Because of the above error, i am not able to use iboostup application. I have even tried to reinstall from app store, but the issue still continues.
Need help.Perhaps the damaged file is an auxiliary file outside the app bundle and stored elsewhere on your Mac. Try deleting the app and all it files with an app for that purpose. Afree one is AppCleaner;

It sounds like you are in Maverick (OSX 10.9) not Lion (OSX 10.7.4) and have deleted Pages '09.

I just bought a Mac Mini (late 2012) with a 1TB HDD and I'm planning to install a second drive, an SSD (Samsung 840 evo) and create the Fusion Drive, and I have a couple of questions:
1- I've read lots of articles on how to do this but I'm not sure if I have to buy Mountain Lion from the app store (to reinstall the OS after I install the second drive) since I'm not able to see it on the "Purchased" list of apps, or if I can just reinstall OS X with OS X Utilities.
2- I read somewhere that if I make my own Fusion Drive when I reinstall OS X I will lose iLife, is this true? Or will I be able to redownload it from the store? I really don't want to lose iMovie, iPhoto and GarageBand and I'm confused about it.
