Pages go blank
After working fine for weeks, when I open a 58 page document I see the content appear on ALL pages in the thumbnail images pane but some of them only briefly and then they go blank or white. How do I fix this?
Try File > Save as. Then resave the document with a new name. Not sure why your thumbnails disappeared, but this method should rebuild the thumbnails.

I went to the FAA website, and I needed to review a document. I clicked on the link, the page turned blank, but I never saw the document. I tried again, but I still could not get the document. Word documents still bring up the dialog box allowing me to open the document. I went to another website to find additional information on the project I am working on, and I am experiencing the same problem, when I click on a link to a pdf, it will not open, and the download dialog box does not open.
I have tried looking at applications and plugins, but everything seems to be fine. What do I do to fix this?

Links that open in new windows do not load. The page remains blank. I have downloaded other web browsers and these pages all work with these browsers. I have been using firefox for years and this has only started happening in the last month or so. Is there an update that can fix this? I have also uninstalled and then reinstalled firefox and still the same thing.
There are no error messages, just a picture of a white sheet of paper in the top left hand corner with the writing "search book marks and history". New tabs are working, it's just the new windows that won't load.Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -
I have an I pad 2, and when I attempt to open a new page "about blank" appears. What can I do to remove this from the system baring in mind that I am not particularly co outer literate.

try going into settings, safari and clear history. You may also want to clear cookies (means you will need to sign back into sites)
It's possible that that page is a popup ad of some sort that can't run, for example a flash based ad. You may have picked the cookie up browsing the internet and now that it's in there the only way to get rid of it is to clear your history and cookies. -
I've problem with Game Center . I can't sign in Game Center on my iPad . I tap on the Game Center icon but the page is blank. I tried go to setting, my Apple ID appear but the page keep on loading and nothing pop up. How to resolve this issue?

After an hour or more, pages become blank white in Acrobat 11.0.09
Hello,
I have a client that is an attorney that uses a lot of PDF documents which contain mostly scanned images. Some are large, some are small. However, between 30minutes to 2 hours, when returning to an already opened PDF file, all pages are blank before and after the current page. When re-opening the document, it comes back fine.
This seems more a matter of time the PDF is open, size of document, but mostly time-related. Typically the customer will have a PDF open (large mostly), then switch to another application for a while or go to lunch, then when they return to the PDF they are viewing, they go to the next or previous page and it is blank - no images or content. They have to re-open the document again.
We have adjusted the display options already as such but this didn't help:
Acrobat -> Edit -> Preferences - Page Display

>Smooth Text: None
>Uncheck all options in Rendering area.

Is there any scanning software running in the back end?
I would also suggest you to upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat i.e. 11.0.10 with 'Check for Updates' option from the Help menu.

Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie

Search/Result page is incorrect, result page is blank

I am designing a website for my work. Iam not very much familiar with coding and dont know what exactly is missing in the code.
The search page filters the search criteria and on clicking the submit button, redirects to the result page which should display only the rows containing the search criteria. However, it is displaying blank in the result page with only the column names of the queried table (in the recordset)

I have created both the pages again, one is a search.php another is result.php
search.php is only used for accepting a text field which is the input of the search in database table on click of the button, and the result of the search is to be displayed in a dynamic table in result.php.
The result field again uses a GET variable named 'Class Name', from the form field in search.php. But again, my result Page displays blank except the column names of the table. Please advice.

Apple Mail links will not open in Firefox. The address bar and page are blank.
I have just upgraded Firefox to version 4.0 and when I receive an email with a link in it, the link will not work. Firefox will load but the page is blank and the web address bar will sometimes show the link and sometimes not. If I cut and paste the address from the email it will not work.
In mail.app preferences there is a setting for RSS that lets one choose which program is the default RSS reader. Whichever program is set to be the default RSS reader is used by mail.app to open any urls in mail messages.
I really like my Mac but this is the most un-userfriendly, un-"it just works" thing I've run across in the 23 years I've been using Macintosh... -
Preview showing one page as blank in PDF
This is Preview 5.0.3, on OS X version 10.6.6.
I have a multi-page PDF file, and Preview is displaying one of the pages as blank. I can highlight the text that should be displayed, copy it, and past it into a text file. The page is correctly displayed when I open it up in Adobe Reader... Any ideas on what's wrong? I also have the same problem on iOS (using GoodReader).

My suspicion is the problem is a incompatibility with Preview and the program of origin that "generated" the PDF.
There would be nothing to fix on your end. You have found your workaround with Adobe Reader. -
Pdf pages display blank in safari
Using Safari, when I go to a webpage with a .pdf URL the page is blank. I recently upgraded to Lion and purchased/installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro (I was using Acrobat 7.0 with Snow Leopard). The only to access these types of pages is by trying to download linked file (which sometimes doesn't work).
Quit Safari. Look in the /Library/Internet Plug-ins folder (not the home folder).
If you see anything with PDF in the middle of it, drag that file to desktop. Then re-start Safari and enjoy. -
I have Windows 7, with Office 10, Acrobat Adobe 9 Std. I used to be able to combine pdf files into one pdf until I converted to Office 10. Now when I combine 3 pdf files into one pdf, I am missing the middle pdf. Pages are there but the pages are blank. Any Idea???

I signed in to Adobe and tried to use the PDF converter, but the page is blank. The combine PDF page is blank also. What happened? I can see the other tabs, but these two are blank. Need to know what is going on. Thanks.

Firefox 3.6.3 won't reload pages, pages reload blank, refresh won't work.
I have a problem with 3.6.3 in Windows 7 64-bit with pages not reloading when I navigate back to them or refresh due to a change in the page. As an example, on eBay, but when I hit resend, the page loads blank (over and over). I have to renavigate to the page to get it to load. For instance, if I am viewing my "watching" list and remove an item, the page would normally refresh with my changes (old Firefox), now it notifies me that I have changed the page, but the page itself won't load. Refreshing does nothing. I have taken a screen shot. I have to renavigate to the page to see it. This is very time consuming and therefore, annoying. Any help would be appreciated. I am using Windows 7, 64 bit.

http://ebay.comWell, I found a fix that seems to work for me. I have dial-up so it may not work if you have broadband. These facebook games reference a great deal of links that can time-out on you and take forever to load. Oddly this came to me while watching the Isabella & Filomina Bing commerical. Your browser has to ping each link to find the proxy before it will load properly. So go to tools->options->advanced->settings and change it from manual to auto-detect. This should get your browser to load all the different links the facebook games need and won't time-out as much. It seems to work in Mafia Wars. I didn't want to mention it yet because I am still having problems loading facebook. Broadband modems usually have auto-detect hardwired which is usually faster than the browser auto-detect so if you have broadband i would leave it on manual, but you could try and see if it still works.

Windows 8.1 update added a recovery partition now the recovery function won't work.
After the latest 8.1 update, an extra recovery partition as added to the C: drive. A few other things got messed up so i decided to reset to factory original. To my surprise the HP Recovery Tools no longer work. If I hit F11 I get a 0xC0000225 err
