Pages Help Not Available

When I click on Help, I get this window. Help isnt available for Pages?

I think you need to give some more information. What have you tried to solve the problem? Quit and restart Pages? Restart your Mac? Launching Pages from another account?
It is possible that there is some problem with /Users/<your username>/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpui/ or /Users/<your user name>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.help.plist . I have not tried this myself, but it is possible that deleting those files may solve the problem, if it forces the system to rebuild them.

  • Mac version - clicking help = Sorry, this page is not available

In the Mac version of Muse v1.0, selecting Adobe Muse Help… from the Help menu just displays this page in my web browser - http://www.adobe.com/special/errorpages/404.html with the error "Sorry, this page is not available".
Where can I find the Muse manual, either online or as a PDF?
    Thanks, Graham.

Graham - The url for the UK help is down and we will be fixing it soon, sorry for the inconvenience. As far as user guide content, I think http://www.adobekb.com/index.html is what you are looking for (the tutorials by "Adobe" on the main help page are indexed there).
kallikrates5 - You shouldn't need to log in to see the help content. Are you able to reach http://www.adobekb.com/index.html?

  • Upgrade for Pages says not available for this Apple ID

I just bought new MacMini. Now upgrade for Pages says not available for this Apple ID, etc. Why? I did not buy the Mini from Apple store, but so what?

Please test after each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes. Keep in mind that no one here represents Apple or can help with customer-service issues.
    Step 1
A purchased app can only be updated by signing in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that was originally used to buy it. There's no way around that limitation, which also applies to free apps. If you can't sign in with the buyer's ID, delete the app and reinstall it. You'll have to pay for it again, if applicable.
    Step 2
If you get the alert when trying to update a bundled iLife app, select the Purchases page in the App Store and locate the app in your purchase history. If there's a button marked ACCEPT on the right, click it.
If you have a used Mac, the bundled apps were linked to the original owner's Apple ID and can't be transferred to you. Reportedly, customer service has issued redemption codes to some second owners who asked, but it's not guaranteed.
    Step 3
If you're trying to update iLife or iWork apps that were installed from a purchased DVD, or if you have a refurbished Mac bought directly from Apple, contact App Store customer service for a redemption code. You may be asked for the part number of the DVD.
    Step 4
From the App Store menu bar, select
              Store ▹ View My Account
Enter your Apple ID password at the prompt. At the lower right corner of the window that opens, click the Reset button. Close the window.

  • How can I save a page and all its component parts in a single file, like IE does as an MHT - it's much easier for mailing to people where page address not available?? (as in output from an airline booking site, for example)

how can I save a page and all its component parts in a single file, like IE does as an MHT?
It's much easier for mailing to people where page address not available?? (as in output from an airline booking site, for example)
It is simply too painful to have to zip everything up into a single file to send. MHT format has been available for years now from IE, and with every new FF release it's the first thing I look for. I have been using FF for years, and hate having to come out of it, over into IE |(which I even took out of startup) and key everything in again, in order to send somebody something in a convenient format that they can open with a single click.
I can't believe this hasn't been asked before, so have you looked at it and rejected it? Have MS kept the file format secret?
    Thanks
    MG

This is not really an answer just my comments on your question.
I am sure I recollect efforts being made to get mhtml to work with FF.
Probably the important thing to remember about .mhtml is that if other browsers do support it they may need addons, and may not necessarily render the content correctly/consistently.
There are FF addons designed for archiving webpages, you could try them, but that then assumes the recipient has the same software.
You could simply save the page from FF to your XP pc; then offline open it with and save it using IE, before then emailing using FF, and attaching the .mht or mhtml file that you have now created on your PC.
As an alternative method, in some cases it could be worth considering taking a screen grab of the required page, then sending that to the recipient as a single email attatchment using either a bitmap or jpeg file format for instance.
Something such as an airline booking may be designed with a print option, possibly it could be worthwile looking at sending the print file itself as an email attachment.

  • Why some pages are not available offline in Safari reading list?

From time to time I experience surprises that some web pages are not available offline in reading list of Safari - link is stored, but content - no.
I was thinking that I was closing Safari too fast before pages downloaded.
But I rechecked - I gave safari enough time and it still not downloaded.
When internet connection is available pages are readable, but not in offline.
    And related to issue:
Should I open Safari to allow to download page, when I add page to reading list from other applications by selecting "Add to reading list"?

YEs, it's totally frustrating... I'll never again just go along with an upgrade. After upgrading to IOS8 the reading list feature no longer works.
I even tried the factory reset, clearing out everything and making my iPad 2 like it was originally. And I didn't restore from backup either, afraid whatever bug it is would come back. I even installed iCab Mobile, and Readability... nothing works!
I Really, really, regret upgrading. I want my fully functioning IOS7 back!!
IS there any way to get IOS7 back, 'coz this IOS8 is for the birds?!

    Hi jess,
What what page are you trying to access? I'm not aware of any outages, but if you can provide the URL that you're trying to access, I can try to track down an answer for you.

  • Web Dynpro application callable object error: Page Builder Not available

    Hi, SDN Fellow.
I created a callable object of Web Dynpro application. The callable object is atatched to an Action, and Action --> Block, and Block --> Process.
I initiate the process in GP Runtime, when it comes to the Action screen the Web Dynpro application atatched to, I got the following error:
The page builder required to display this application UI inside the portal environment is not available.
As aa comparison, another callable object that atatched to a Web Dynpro component (that implement GP interface) is working fine.
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance,
    KC

    Hi KC,
When you start your process from GP Runtime, does the actual action/callable object open in a new window?
Have a look at this SAP Note:
[Error when executing a GP task - Page builder|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes/sdn_oss_bc_gp/~form/handler%7b5f4150503d3030323030363832353030303030303031393732265f4556454e543d444953504c4159265f4e4e554d3d393831353137%7d]
Although the error message you are getting is different, but if your callable object opens in a new window, then the problem (in most probability) is the same as mentioned in the SAP Note.
Also, try testing the Web Dynpro callable object in standalone mode. For more information on this, see:
    [Testing Callable Objects|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/4c/588041a17e060de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm]

    Good day sandrabee,
Purchasing movies is always fun in my opinion, as I just love opening new DVDs and Blu-Rays! I can understand your concern if you still aren't able to track the package with the movies after a week since the order was placed. I am truly sorry for any concern you may be experiencing, and will do my best to assist in resolving this issue!
Using the email address you registered on the forum, I believe I was able to locate your order. Unfortunately, it appears that I receive the same results when checking the tracking information. That being said, I am sending you a private message to gather further information in regards to this order, which you can check by signing into the forum and clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page.

  • Mac help not available in tiger

I have a new imac with tiger. I can open mac help window, can click on 'search all help' and do a search. The search results are displayed but then if I click on a topic in 'mac help' nothing comes up.
Help is available in the helper windo for all other applications, so I don't think it's a problem with the help window, just suspect mac help is not installed.
    PLEASE HELP!

  • Help not available????

If I try to access the Help in iCal, it says very bluntly and without any indication as to the reason that the "Help is not available for iCal." Why??? and how do I get it fixed?

    PC2MacAndBack,
the link provided doesn't seem to be working??
I interpret that question two ways.
    1. If you click on the link I provided on my previous post and it will not open Troubleshooting Help Viewer, by Dr. Smoke, try http://thexlab.com/faqs/helpviewer.html .
    2. The troubleshooting steps provided in that article do not fix your problem.
    any thoughts?
Try using the Maintenance>Reset:> Mac Help feature of OnyX.

  • Create an Adobe ID link in ADE: page is not available

One of our customers reported a possible bug today: when she tried to create an Adobe ID directly from Adobe Digital Editions (ADE), it failed. Please see below for details, and advise and / or fix ASAP.
    1. In ADE 3.0, she clicked on “Create an Adobe ID” link, which points to www.adobe.com/go/digital-editions-createID
    2. The link above redirected her to another page: “Create Adobe ID”
    3. Clicking on “Create” button redirected her to a page that is not available. As far as we can tell, no Adobe ID was created for her; it just ended in failure:
    4. We tried to create new Adobe IDs using these steps and experienced this same problem.

I don't know that link (and certainly not the one hiding under your link).
You can download the EXE installers from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
If you need the MSI installer, get it from the Adobe FTP site ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/ (which for some reason I cannot access right now).

  • Online help not available even though on the net

After moving from CS5 to CC (and deleting the CS5 and Adobe COmmunity Help application) I don't seem to be able to get the online help.  It tells me to connect to the internet and try again.  Obviously - as you're reading this - I am online.  The work around for downloading the PDF to C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Adobe\PDF\pdf\ works for Ps and Br, but I don't see a PDF for Lr in the same place.
    Any thoughts?

I too migrated from CS5 to CC (when I migrated to a new Mac). After hours on the phone with Adobe today, the culprit turned out to be a bad Adobe Help Manager setting. It was set to only use offline help. My guess is that I got annoyed with Adobe Air constantly needing to update itself back in the CS5 days and turned off online help. Despite Adobe Help not being installed on the new Mac, it seems the old preference was being read by the CC apps and it was messing them up.
You can get Adobe Help Manager back by way of this page:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/?helpcfg=http://help.adobe.com/HelpCfg/en_US/Dreamweaver. helpcfg&url=http://helpx.adobe.com/en/dreamweaver/topics.html&product=dreamweaver

  • I am trying to download latest update but just get referred to a page that says "Sorry, this page is not available".

I am a fully paid up member Adobe cloud and logged in. Other pages of the Adobe website are all accessible except the Lightroom download page. I have tried a few times over the last few days taking different routes to the download page including direct from the notification in the app but no success
    Help appreciated.
    Thanks

Launch Creative Cloud and click the settings gear icon.
Try signing out and then signing-in again from preferences.
Wait for CC to update if necessary and then go to the Apps Tab
An install button should be available for LR CC 2015
