Pages keep freezing every 10 seconds until cursor is moved.
This has been going on for a few days now. Every 10 seconds or so the pages freeze, either loading a page or watching videos.
I've tried:
- Turn off hardware acceleration
- Reinstalled flash
- Reset Firefox
- Clear cookies and cache
- Restart in safe mode and troubleshoot plugins (Disabled all plugins)
- Reinstall Firefox.
After trying all these solutions, problem still persists. I'd really rather not switch to Chrome, so you can someone help me fix this?
hey, firefox won't automatically update to a beta version, you'd have to download it separately from mozilla.org/beta and install it on top of your current firefox. firefox 26 beta 4 is already available...

DreamWeaver CC keeps freezing every 30 seconds
I'm using DreamWeaver CC on a pretty new computer (1 week old). Up until tonight, everything has been working well. Then, suddenly, DreamWeaver began freezing every 30 to 60 seconds. It will freeze, mouse still works and other programs still run smooth, but DreamWeaver will halt whatever text I'm in the middle of typing. Sometimes the text cursor will disappear. Sometimes the title bar will say "Nor Responding", and sometimes the Windows blue spinning ball will appear whenever DreamWeaver is in focus.
The computer has two SATA3 SSD hard drives (Windows 7 Ultimate and DreamWeaver CC installed to one drive and the files I'm working on exist on the other SSD). The computer has Intel i7 3.5GHz with 32GB RAM. I have task manager running while using DreamWeaver, the CPU usage never goes above 10% and the RAM usage is never above 4GB, so there are clearly tons of resources still available. Only have about 10 tabs open in DreamWeaver.
Again, have been using DreamWeaver just fine for a week, this problem just started around 9pm Pacific Time on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Is there an update that CC would've automatically downloaded which is buggy? Anyone else having these issues?
It is unbearable to work like this, as every couple words I type, the program freezes for about 15 to 20 seconds and then comes back to life. No other program that I'm using does this, so it's not a computer issue. The issue is isolated within DreamWeaver CC.
Working with local files only, not over internet or network.
Please help - having a hard time using this program. By the way, using the trial version - so far, not convinced that I should pay for a subscription based software that prevents me from getting work done.No new programs installed, those aren't the issue.
I found the problem. Posting solution for anyone who may experience the same issue.
Timed this out, and the duration between freezes varied and seemed to be based more on the input rather than time (anywhere from 40 seconds to a couple minutes). The duration of the freeze was always exactly 20 seconds, when the blue mouse icon would spin, input would not be accepted in DW and the program would fade to white.
I then noticed that only one file was having the issue. I thought maybe it was a corrupt file, so I tried copying it over to a new file, that didn't fix it.
Then I found the solution:
In my script tags and stylesheet tags, the url was "//urlhere.com" instead of "https:// urlhere.com" (added space so that it wasn't automatically recognized on this forum as a URL.) Once I specified the protocol in front of "//", it fixed it. Although I don't fully know the reason, I'm guessing that without the protocol specified, DW is seeking these files locally and freezing when it can't locate it. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

My macbook pro freezes every few seconds

About a week ago my MBP started freezing every few seconds showing the well known spinning beach balls every time, even when running no apps, I've sepnt plenty of time looking for a solution, I've read this problem might be due to a physically damaged hard drive, bt I've tested it several times using different apps and it shows no error, I've read from another discussion about Etrecheck as a useful app to quickly gather certain system information that may help point to a cause of this problem, so I hope some of you guys can help me checking the log output. OS X Mavericks freezes every 15 seconds
Hi community , in brief ,after 2 forced shutdowns , my mac keeps freezing every laps of time(between 15 to 1minute), especialy when i open google chrome or lunch video or music.
No Google drive and no Logitech Mouse connected to my MacBook pr mid 2012 device.
I tried safe mode , guest user and both are freezing.

when i have this, i restart chrome.
it solves my problem.
i think it's not OS it's just chrome or other things make it happen.
why don't you try re-install chrome or other programs.

Firefox 21 causing flash to freeze every 10 seconds
Two days ago, I updated Firefox to version 21. Now, YouTube and all Flash videos freeze after 12 seconds of play. If i move the video frame one second, it plays for another 12 seconds and freezes again at second 24 frame and so on freezing every 12 seconds. I have updated Flash, but this didn't change anything. Also, no sound on videos. This only started right after i updated to Firefox 21. Now , I can't figure out how to go back to Firefox 20 and I can't watch videos.

I believe OS 10.10.2 is causing my mac to freeze every few seconds.
For the last two weeks or so, my MacBook Pro (2011) has been freezing every few seconds. I can barley type this now. When I pull up Activity Monitor, it shows my memory running at 3.0+ out of 4 GB's. I've tried everything I could think of. My Mac is more of a internet surfing comp so I didn't mind reinstalling OS. It worked great for about 30 minutes then everything started to freeze again. Im curious if anyone else is having this issue and if anyone's figured out how to fix it. I ran a diagnostic on my ram and thats not the issue. Im to the point of upgrading my ram but i think it's dumb reverting to that when the 4 GB has been plenty for me in the past.

Max12345281, since the poster says he has iOS 4.1.2 he very likely has a 2G iPod and those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

- Go to Settings>Safari and delete Cookies, History and other items

Video freezes every few seconds
My new iPad video playback freezes every few seconds. I have a decentish Internet speed (2.3MB) and have turned all apps off and even reset. Any ideas?
Does it always take a long time to buffer the video? Can take several minutes for a video of the same length.

Itunes literally freezes every 10 seconds doing anything
Itunes literally freezes every 5 seconds, anything that i click on eg. music, deleting a song, renaming a song, clicking on the movies tab, basically any basic function of clicking something on itunes. It freezes up for 10-15 secs then works again. At this rate, it is almost impossible to even transfer songs or edit them. Please help! I look forward to ur responses!
Ps. I have uninstalled and reinstaslled programs such as Bonjour, Quicktime and Itunes itself over and over three times. Same thing happens again.Lets see whether this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working? -
I upgraded to Lion and then all video clips on for instance Youtube freeze every tenth second to buffer more data. I have a MacBook Pro and never had any problems when using Snow Leopard. Has Lion problems with this?
Ulf, SwedenUse the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -
Videos keep reloading every 30 seconds or so.
I have the latest flash player, but videos continue to keep loading every 30 seconds or so, stopping briefly at each point. How can I correct this problem?

Also you have many add-ons, each of which uses some memory and some of your cpu resources. If the graphics driver doesn't improve the situation you should consider updating to Firefox 13 and running the Firefox reset - [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] -
Toshiba Qosmio X505 Q8102 freezes every few seconds in games.
Again i have to post in this forums, so im not satisfied and dissapointed..
The laptop is freezing every few seconds in most 3D games, i thought it's the OS problem, so installed a fresh copy of Windows7 (original), downloaded newest drivers from toshiba support site, and installed every one of the without problem. But the problem is still here.. Don't know what to do, gave 1800$ for this pice of junk and ill i got is problems..
I'm not a newbie within computers, working with them for past 15 years (at the moment Network Administrator in Croatian Military).
Tried replacing the memory, hdd, and still nothing, same problem.. The warranty expired and doesn't work in Europe.. Contacted US support and asked for recovery disks because this **bleep** recovery partition is damaged and can't boot from recovery.. tried with Toshiba media builder but same problem, doesn't work -_-... One thing is for sure.. im never gonna buy Toshiba again. Oh yeah, forggot tu mention, I've contacted Toshiba Croatia for recovery disks and support, and they said to me that thy don't give recovery disks and don't sell them (than why can i buy recovery dvd's from toshiba us?, and can't from Croatia)..
Anyway, if no one can tell me any solution it will be crashed with hammer and burn it (because i have no nerves for it any more).. I use the laptop very often and i need it for my job..
Before i buyed this laptop i was in doubt, buy toshiba or alienware? Hmm, made a huge mistake..

Yeah, i know the procedure with the zerro key, and with toshiba media creator to make backup dvd-s etc, but non of that work because my recovery partition is kinda damaged, don't know why is that so. Didn't mess with the hdd or anything else. But that's not the problem, installed a fresh copy of windows, updated it and installed drivers and everything i need, than made a acronis secure zone on my hdd and made recovery by my self and works great.
But bigger problem is why the hell is he freezing every now and than in games, just stops for half of a second and than continues normaly for few seconds, another thing, while its frozen the sound freezes aswell, tried another sound driver, updated everything and still got same problem.. -

Try quitting Pages and deleting the following file: youraccount > library > preferences > com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist. Restart Pages and see if that helps.
