Pages load in juxtaposition --i.e. verbiage is on top of verbiage -not so on Safari - I love Firefox, is this fixable?

Site pages load in juxtaposition --i.e. verbiage is on top of verbiage rendering an unreadable experience in many cases. I compared same sites with Safari to see whether problem was site (too many sites to mention)-- or Firefox's. Is it a settings thing - or ...?
I LOVE Firefox. Any chance it is fixable?

Well got this sorted, i managed to pick out the 'help' section on my desktop when i opened Firefox (not an easy task as you can see from my screen shoot) saw 'check for updates' mouse clicked all around this statement (as there were no buttons) and was advised to update to ver: 3.6.16 now everything is ok, still dont know what the problem was but hey its fixed, put a system restore point in just in case. thanks all.

Unfortunately, I am still unable to open my core productivity apps, namely Skype and Evernote. Twitter, as well, could not start. But interesting quick fix though, I never knew you could do that.

This is the very top of the documents view in the Pages app. If you don't see this, swipe down in this window to reveal the Date and Name tabs like you see here. If you tap on - Name - that arranges all of the documents in alphabetical order in this view and it also arranges documents in the respective folders alphabetically. If you tap on - Date - that will arrange all documents by the date that they were created or last edited. You want to make sure that you keep Name as the default at the top.
Trust me, this does work. If you name the chapters alphabetically .... Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, or if you simply name them A, B, C, D, etc. they will be arranged in that order using the Name button at the top, which uses alphabetical order to arrange the documents.

I am also having a problem with this. My website is hosted through "www.onlinepictureproof.com" and now that my laptop is back from repair with OS X 10.6.8 I am unable to upload my photos to my work website. It says "a plug-in is needed to display this content. Install plug-in" and then a window pops up that says "no suitable plug-ins were found". Below that is "unknown plug-in (application/x-java-applet)" with a link to "manual install" which takes me to "http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index-jsp-141438.html#download" which just leaves me lost. I've tried downloading the "JRE" but I have zero idea what that means or if Im downloading the proper thing. Once I click on the "download JRE" it brings me to a download page where there are WAY too many items for me to choose from to download, when I have no idea what I need or why I need it. please help, this is driving me insane. I actually preferred my constantly crashing laptop to the state its in now, "like brand new" back from apple repair...I have already updated everything that is promted through "Software Updates".
"OnlinePictureProof.com" only directs me to apple support.

All I get is Page Load error about a week after installing Broadband. IE does not work either

I finally conneted to BB with Virgin. All went well until about a week or two later. All I get is Page Load error. Same with IE. Contacted Virgin and they said there is something blocking access to the Internet. The LAN connection is there and router is all lit up. I am cable connected. Ive switched off and rebooted loads. Stuck and am under pressure from wife to get it fixed. I was previously on dial up Freeserve

Firefox will not load any webpages, on the tab at the top it says untitled. I've tried updating Firefox, but it still doesn't work.

When I open my Firefox application, no webpage appears, the tab at the top simply says untitled. When I try to change the webpage, nothing still happens, there is still a white, blank page.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

Pages loads fine but...

Hi my pages loads fine but it has a file looks like is in memory and it opens automatically, but looks like this file is corrupted and it make the app crash.
This file was never saved it looks is in Pages memory or something, so I can't find it to delete it and it keeps opening every time I load Pages, I try an other user in my mac and the app works perfect.
What can I do???

It is in the user's library.
I did get a bit creative in getting this screenshot. I took it of my user folder on my iMac running Lion from my Mac mini running Snow Leopard just so I could easily hide the sidebar.

Displaying default image on page load if actual image is not retrieved

In jsff i have something like below

Is there any way where i can display a default image on page load if image is not properly loaded.

Approach 1
If i bind "source" property to back bean and check it will work.
But because of the complexity of project, it is not possible to go with this approach.

Disscussion page loads stalls.

I get have been getting a lot of stalls with this line on the bottom of the window -- On the worst days at least once per hour for the past three months.The stalls can last a minute or more until timeout. Some times I restart the page and the page loads quickly.
Anything I can do about it?
Are others getting these stalls?

I want to suppress the page loading status

Firefox shows the page loading status as a popup on the left bottom corner of the window. I want to switch off this feature, but cannot find a way to do this, it is not in the options.

Page Scheduler add-on not updated for FF4! Can Firefox add such a feature so users are not at mercy of independent developers that do not update their addons?

Page Scheduler is one of the handiest addons to FF, I do not wish to update to FF4 and lose this functionality. Can Firefox build such page scheduling functionality into their browser???
The developer of PS has not updated the app to run on FF4 nor have they provided any communication of any plans.

Well, ultimately nothing worked, except making all the settings I wanted to set part of mozilla.cfg. When I added your suggestion, along with another I found on the web to disable add-on compatibility check, I finally have a Firefox that loads straight to the home page, even after the upgrade.
Here's what my mozilla.cfg file contains (for 6.0.2):

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Page not displaying in Safari and Internet explorer but showing up in Mozila

Hi,
I bought this pre-made template which I would like to use for my website. When I upload it to my website and try to open the pages like "Contact us", "News", "Team members" and so on, they are not displaying in Safari and Interner Explorer, but they DO show up in Mozilla. Also, the pages I created myself do show up in all browsers. I really need to fix this problem as I already put a lot of effort to create my web site and now it is not working online. Setting components values in the ADF page load time

Hi,
We are trying to set the components labels dynamically, so each time the page is loaded we are loading the related labels from the database, instead of using the default database column names driven labels.
We get the labels text okay from the database in the afterPhase method, but we do not have access to the output text UI items then, so a call scuh as this getOutputText1() will return null.
We have also tried to use value binding for the output text, e.g. value=#{backing_untitled2.verbiage}, where verbiage attribute was set in the afterPhase method. The method is called okay and sets the attribute, but for some reason the attribute is then set back and displayed as null.
The same code is executed okay in a command button.
Any idea why is that failing, or how to populate these labels dynamically in the page load time better than the above?

Hi,
I think you should re-think your strategy and not read the labels from the database all the time. Instead, read it into a class that extends HashMap one time and put it into the session. Then reference the bean #{sessionScope.beanname['label'], which will call the HashMap's getter method. Use the "label" name to find the label for the particular key
If you r application becomes big, you may want to think of handling the session bean size through leaning it under specific conditions
