Pages not transported from transport package

Hi,
I have created a transport package containing one iView and one Page from development server. And after transporting this transport package to quality server only iview has been transport to quality server but page not transferred..
Please explain me about my above questions. I would appreciate your help.

404 Page Not Found from the Page Definition

I'm trying to run my app by clicking on the stop light on the Page Definition screen and I'm now getting a 404 Page Not Found error. There is NO entry in the Apache Error log, however, there is an entry in the Access log which is:
htmldb_public_user [03/Oct/2005:15:02:52 -0500] "GET /pls/htmldb/f?p=110:1:4702644663970887147::::: HTTP/1.1" 404 326
Obviously, the 404 is the Page Not Found code, but what is the 326?
Can someone help with this?

Note: 295550.1 Says its still around in 10.1.0.3 but not 10gR2.

Jrun 4.x with jdk 1.4 in eclipse java page not recognising from jsp call

hi all,
I have developed 1 web app. which includes JRUN 4.x, eclipse 6.6 and jdk 1.4.
I have deployed the app. in IIS server also. and in config tool also.
But when i run the application, it is not recognising the java page so, it is giving an error.
it is sample page i am sending.
i called the bean page directly also, but still same problem.

How to access constructor that is not public from another package

Hi,
We have a class that has a constructor in package se.company.internal that looks like:
DraHw(){
Then from a HwTest class ( packge se.company.function.hw) we want to access this class but we cannot make the constructor public.
Any ideas on how we can create an instance of DraHw when testing without making constructor public?

However do you in fact actually need to? And if you do that are you breaking the design of the other app? Obviously there is in fact a way to create the class so perhaps you should study that first to insure that there is not some designed way to do what you want.

I REALLY suggest that you look at the original design again.

Page not resizing from center

This is really stumping me. Whenever I change the page size from the document setup, it always resizes from the center. Now, randomly, it will resize from somewhere besides center like bottom right or top left.
The only way around this that I have found is to resize each page with the Page Tool then resize my document.
What am I missing?

That's not a feature I've tested before. Using Page Setup does appear to center pages when I enlarge page sizes (e.g., from Letter to Tabloid).
However, using the Page tool with the Liquid Layout rule Re-Center selected should do the same thing. Just use the Pages panel to select all the pages you want to change. That could be more reliable because it was specifically designed to do that.

Pages not synking from iMac - iPad via iTunes

HI & good day,
Right now everything is fine, except that I cannot get my Pages ( 09, vs. 4.1) files over from the iMac to the iPad2.
I have to use DropCopy.
If i drop the Pages file on the iTunes Window / Apps / Pages Documents nothing happens.
Also the list of my Pages files on the iPad and those on the iMac ( in iTunes) is not the same, different files.
Should I reinstall Pages?

what I expected was to click-drop the file on iTunes/ Apps /pages Docs,
but this wasn't right!

Why isn't yahoo mail sign in page not loading from any browsers on desktop?

I am experiencing this problem from yesterday where the page stops loading when I click on yahoo mail. It stops right at the sign in page with a blank page, thus I am unable to access yahoo mail. I have tried different browsers and even different users, after clearing cache, cookies and internet history. I did notice I am able to access yahoo mail without any trouble from a different pc altogether and from a mobile device. I assumed the problem would be fixed overnight but it's still not working. I have never experienced this problem before. Please help. Thank you.

J2re is not installed from j2se package

this only happens in windows 2003
(1) using another installer to call j2se 1.4.2_01 installation
(2) select only development tools and jre then install
(3) only development tools gets installed
is this known issue??

i did select j2re1.4.2 during the installation process. when this installation package is launched from antoher installer, j2re1.4.2 is not installed to local machine. and this ONLY occurs in Windows 2003.
do you think this is installshield's bug? or sun's?

BPC Web Page not access from Client

Dear Experts,
We have BPC QA system installed in multi environment DB server and APP server,
the issue is :
the BPC Web Page is able to access from App server localhost (http://appserver IP/osoft/)
but client not able to access the BPC Web Page from the client machine
it showing error bellow . I have check the security and .Net version in IIS and compare with BPC development which is installed in single environment without any issue, Kindly need advice on what
need to be check in the APP Server and DB server.

This error usually means that the user doesnt have the proper authorizations. So please login to the appset with the ADMIN ID and check the task profile and the member access profile of the user. Assign appropriate authorizations.

Friends need help desperate-- Second page not printing from the beginning

Hi Friends,
I have a large layout whose main-section is 8.5x20 (Width&height) which has 2 frames each having 2 repeating frames and about 20 fields in each repeating frame. When I run the report it shows the report right, but when I print, it prints only the first half since the report is long. When I change the property of the second frame of 'Page break before' to 'yes' it prints the second frame on the second page but print it at the same position as it printed on the first, and top of second page is all blank. How do I make to print from the beginning of the second page. Need your help.

Most of the times, these problem are solved by "enclosing" the "Repeating frames" in frames with "Vertical Eleasticity" set to "Variable"

Pages not updated from 5.01 to 5.1.

App store reports I have it updated to 5.1 and will not allow me to download/update again.

I am also having problems. When i start the update on my pc it starts backing up and then says that continuing on with the update will wipe all contence on the ipad. Can anyone help?

Trapping "Page Not Found" in Oracle 10g

I am using PL/SQL to update tables. I have to grant EXECUTE on these packageas to PUBLIC since they are being called by an HTML form:

However, if the type of the parameters passed is wrong (such as an invalid date or number), the ORACLE error results in a PAGE NOT FOUND from the server.
How can I trap these errors from the PL/SQL Cartridge?

IView is removed from transport package when exporting

Hi all,
I have created a transport package containing one iView. However, when I hit the export button it is removed from the package. I have tried adding other objects and they are not removed, but the iView always is.
The iView is a copy of the standard detailed navigation iView.
Has anyone seen this before?

change the prefix/id. there's a filter in the export method NOT to export/transport sap standard objects.

Iview not selected in the transport package during the export

Hello Expert,
I created a transport package to send the change I made on the iview com.sap.portal.masthead to QA system.
I added correctly the iview to the transport package but when I clicked on the button EXPORT to create the epa file, I found that the iview was not selected.
My change canu2019t be send to QA system.
Any idea how to fix this issue?

You can not transport a standard content as it can overwrite the old version and create a new version of the content.

You can copy a the existing iView , change the id and transport the same. Use the changed iView everywhere instead of the standard ones in this case.
