Pages shows error when trying to export to Word

Today, without doing any updates or making any changes to my MacBook, Pages has decided that it won't export documents to Word or PDF, showing me an error message after attempting to export. I've googled forums to try & find a solution, but all I can find is that it's something to do with Style. The Page documents are in exactly the same style etc as I was working on yesterday when I was successfully able to export documents to Word. Can anyone help please? I need to upload as Word documents for uni.

Have you tried to save any other pages file as Word, not only the documents for university?. Create a new file a write a word there then try to save it as a Word document. If it does, then the problem is in your University document as it may contain something incompatible with exporting to Word.

Hello all, I'm having the an issue where no matter what kind of text or document i try to export from Pages 08', I get an error saying "An unknown error occurred" I tried deleting all the pages files and reinstalling the whole suite but i still get the same issue. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I started having problems with Safari 3, uninstalled, reverted back to Safari 2 which didn't work either. Performed an archive and install of Tiger and now the Pages '08 document exports to MS Word.
Based on the fact that 2 of our 3 Macs were able to export okay and not very many others posting about problems I don't think it is a problem with Pages '08.
Consider checking your system using Disk Utility to "Verify disk" or if you have other strange happenings with your Mac try the archive and install. It is a pain to download and install the updates but it worked for me.

Login error when trying to Export

I receive an error when trying to export to Word.
The message is simple "An error occurred when signing in", not very useful.
I have reset my password several times and have obviously been able to login here with the same account.

Error when trying to export excel from Chrom

From your description, when you export a SharePoint list to excel from chrome, you get an error.
In my SharePoint 2013, when I export a SharePoint list to excel from chrome, it works fine.
For your issue, make sure the excel client have been installed in your environment.
To narrow down the issue, I would like to confirm the following information:
To check whether the issue is related to the browser, I suggest you to do a test in other browsers, such as IE and compare the results.
What version is your office client? office 2013 or 2010? 32bit or 64 bit?

Error when trying to Export

Hi all,
I'm getting a javascript error, when trying to export. (i.e. "Deployment Management" -> "Export").
When I click on this link, a popup window is appearing. But, on that window, a javascript error occures. Nothing display on that window. (empty).

We are using OAM also. So, It might cause these errors. We will try to Install it from the beginning....

But, I have another issue.
1) We put our new changes by running patch_jboss.cmd file. After doing this, if we run xlStartServer.bat on <OIM_HOME>\bin directory, we can see all the changes.
But, if we start jBoss using <JBoss>\bin\run.bat file, we can not see any changes. I try to clear cache using PurgeCache.bat file. But, it is still not working....
2) When we start Jboss using xlStartServer.bat file, loggs are not written into <JBOSS>\server\default\log\server.log file. I try to configure using best practice guide. But, it is still not working...If I start JBoss using run.bat file on jboss, it writes loggs to server.log file..
3) Earlier, when we are doing development, we did not use OAM server to connecto to web site. So, for some customizations, I get the current user's userLogin from
<bean:define id="userLogin" name = "userMemberOfForm" property="userID" type="java.lang.String"/>..This works fine..
But, since we are going to use OAM or Windows authentication to connect to OIM web in live, it returns null or empty for "userLogin"....(if we use the above code)...How can I get the userLogin of the current login user....???

This page normally dont have back button ,
if u use browser back button some times it throws error,
Create a link on this page using personailization and call some function to navigate to the page which u want,
u can navigate u another page using the link instaed of using broeser back buton.

Unknown Error when trying to export movie with certain PNG files in Adobe Premiere

Hi!
I've made an animation video in Premiere Pro CC2014 combining apple pro-res live action with png animation. When trying to export, some parts of the video are no problem, and some (seemingly random) png files Adobe Premiere just doesn't like?? I don't understand why it will export some and not others?

Error compiling movie can be anything from gap to bad clip, transition, effect, nest, you name it.
Export from AME with preview open and watch were in the timeline it goes wrong.
That is the place to fix it.

IMovie error when trying to export-file open with write privilege

Pages quits unexpectedly when trying to export document to pdf??

I have a file saved on pages and I'm trying to export it into a pdf file. Just a few seconds after starting to export, pages quits unexpectedly and the pdf file is saved, but is corrupt and won't open. I've done this more than a dozen times already this week and just now it stopped working. Any advice? Help? Thanks.

Using SSRS local mode, receive invalid token error when trying to export the report when running in worker thread

We're using ASP.net with .Net 4, developing with Visual Studio 2012. We use SSRS 2012sp1 with local reports, so exporting the report ourselves instead of using a reportviewer control (and not using the SQL Reporting service). The reports are
executing fine when we export the report in the main thread, but if we spawn a worker thread and run a report there we receive the following error when calling Render():
Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Failed to load expression host assembly. Details: Invalid token for impersonation - it cannot be duplicated.
We only receive this when running a report that uses expressions on a separate thread. I've tried running the application pool under all the default built-in accounts (NetworkService, etc), and under admin user accounts to no avail.
This didn't occur with the previous version of our application which used .net 3.5.

As mentioned, we are not using the Reportviewer control, we are rendering locally. Not certain if that would make a difference.
Also, I had tried using all the built-in accounts. Just for kicks I changed it to LocalSystem again, then reset IIS (see image below). I then tried to export the report in a worker thread and received the same error.

Why is Premiere getting an error when trying to export .MXF files?

Hello!
I have a video that I need to submit to DMDS and it must be a .mxf file. This is the first time I've ever had to export a .mxf so I am not too familiar with the type. I have been exporting every other type of file for years and never had an issue (H.264, quicktime, etc.). However, when I try exporting .mxf I get the generic rendering error which then stops the export.
The first time I tried, the video was down to 12 minutes left (after about 2 and a half hours) when I got the error.
The next time, it crashed right away with over 2 hours still remaining.
So it does not seem to be a corrupt clip because: A) I've been rendering this video out as other file types for rough previews, drafts, etc and it's worked fine and B) The 2 crash times were on opposite ends of the spectrum.
I am running an iMac with OSX 10.7.5, 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 8GB ram...I am using Premiere Pro Version 6.0.0
I do have Third Party plug ins installed but have never had an issue exporting in the past, only with this .mxf file.

If you have GPU accelertation enabled in Premiere Pro, try switching to Software Only.
Are you queuing the job to AME or clicking "Export" in the Export Settings dialog (which encodes directly through Premiere)? Whichever path you're going down, try the other one.
I'd also keep an eye on your resource usage, especially RAM, while encoding in progress. With 8GB of RAM, I'd be surprised if that were the problem.

Why am I getting an error when trying to export a jpeg at 300 dpi?

I am trying to export a 18" x 24" illustrator file to a jpg at RGB 72dpi and CMYK 300 dpi. 72, no problem but when I try to export at 300 I get an error message. Any ideas why this is happening?

Not so much a RAM problem as it may be a scratch disk problem. Illustrator may be looking for 1.) a place to put the file, and 2.) enough scratch space to accomplish the op. Try opening the .ai file using Photoshop using the size 18 x 24 @ 300 ppi in the Open dialog. That will rasterize the file ( not sure why you'd want to ).

Error when trying to export GPO Backup Folder

I am getting an unknown error when trying to download a word document from mail to pages, any help

I am trying to download a word document from mail into pages and I keep getting an unknown error message, are there special settings for this? Any help much appreciated!

Not there aren't any special settings for this. You just use the Open In feature to save the document into Pages. You could have a font in the document that Pages doesn't like, maybe something that you copied and pasted from somewhere into the document that went corrupt. But there is nothing special about the way that you save a Word document into Pages. You save it like you save any document or file into a compatible app.
