Pages "Track Changes" does not work when working in cells in a document

While attempting to edit a WORD file (converted to Pages for my macbook) it was discovered that the Track Changes feature will not register if the changes are inside a "cell" in the file. The RFP I am trying to respond to is made up of multiple columns and rows. Anytime you make a change inside the columns or rows the "Track Changes" does not record the change. Outside of the columns/rows it works perfectly.
I download the most recent OS and Pages file last week. The issue started then.

Hyperlink with tracking applied does not work in PDF

We use lots of web addresses in our advertising and generally the web addresses automatically convert to hyperlinks when we distill the files and make PDFs. Recently we've had two instances where someone applied tracking or justification to the line of text containing the url to make it spread across the page. When we make our PDF the url is not clickable. Is there anyway around this? We tried actually creating a hyperlink manually in InDesign by using the Hyperlinks panel and entering the address, but that didn't work either.

We'll look into that. We already do two separate PDFs for print and web, but
we are distilling both right now. Wouldn't be too much of a problem to
change to exporting the web version I don't think.
I did a test, just curious, is there a way to keep it from putting a black
box around the link on the PDF?

Distilled PDF uses Postscript which does not support hyperlinks and
interactivity. To make your hyperlinks in ID you'll need to export and check
the Include Hyperlinks and Include Interactiviity boxes.
Your printer doesn't need hyperlinks because they don't work on a printed
page. The requirements for print and interactive PDF are quite different, and
you may find you need to make two versions.

Voice Over for tracks & artist does not work

My sister has just bought FOUR new iPod shuffles 4th gen, im busy trying to set them up for the kids before xmas - it turns out that the voice over for tracks and artists does NOT work even though its installed and the ONLY fix i can find is to MANUALLY apply ENGLISH (UK) language settings to each track after theyve been put on... now SURELY this isnt right...?

Ok so the "is it plugged in" kind of troubleshooting question is...
When you plug in the iPod, go to the summary page of the iPod, there is a check box to enable Voiceover on that iPod. Is that checked?

Queue Track(s) Does Not Work

User Type: Free
OS: Windows 7
The play queue does not function properly after closing Spotify for the first time time. I have to keep re-installing Spotify to use the play queue, but after that, the play button appears grayed out while the play queue shows songs are still in the list. Please see the image below for an example.
An example of what happens.
I install Spotify Free for Windows 7 64-bit. Queue songs, then click play. Close software when I finish for the day.
Next day, re-open software. Queue song(s) will put the track(s) into my queue, but bottom section doesn't display song information, remains gray and non-interactive.
Only solution that works so far is re-installing Spotify every time.
I am playing songs on the internet, not local.
Restarting computer does not work.
I do have Spotify installed on an Android device, but I am not using Android and Windows 7 Spotify concurrently.

On full keyboards with a numeric keypad, the key above the right shift is "return" & the one on the numeric section is "enter." On a Mac (or Apple IIgs ) they do have separate functions. On the "mini" keyboards, both names are on the same key, but "enter" is written in smaller letters. I'll have to check to see how that works on another Mac later today.

Mouse pad (track pad) does not work,

Started Macbook w/o mouse. Track pad can move cursor, but "enter function" does not work.

Did the MBP come with the trackpad, or do you have a mouse as well? To turn off the trackpad, there is a botton on the right side, see picture. Hold, you will see a light, wait until it goes off. To turn on, hold until you see the light.

Track Changes colors not working when story contains table

Can anyone duplicate this problem/bug, or let me know if it is just my machine?
Steps to reproduce
Make sure your Edit > Preferences > Story Editor has non-black text colors defined for Added Text, Deleted Text, and Moved Text.
Create document, and draw a text box
Inside the text box, Right-click > Fill with Placeholder Text
With the cursor in the text box, turn on Track Changes and Show Changes from the Track Changes pallette:
Open the Story Editor with Ctrl/Cmd-Y
Cut/paste, delete, and insert some text.
Confirm colors appear in Story Editor as defined in step 1:
Now insert a table anywhere in the story. For me, all non-black text coloring (bg stays fine) disappears:
Is this an InDesign bug, or something I'm experiencing on my own machine? I've been able to duplicate the issue in InDesign CS6, InDesign CC and InCopy CC on my Win7 Pro 64-bit machine.

Dynamic action on text box change does not working

i have a page with following components.
a report that has and edit link.
a text box to catch the primary key from report link when it is clicked
a number of elements (text boxes, check boxes and LOVs) which are used as data entry form.
Now my design is that user enter values save them and no sooner did they save, the report depicts new
values. if user want to edit any record, they click on edit link and the data entry form elements
should now bring all those values from DB on page. i m successful to pick primary key and bring
it in a hidden text box and wrote a dynamic action on its change event that will bring values from
DB and set all page elements. but but but.........the change event doesnt work. it only work
when focus is lost from the text box...!! offcourse user wont want to click in that "hiddent" text
box and then click some where else to bring values in page data entry form......
help is humbly requested from forum or if any other solution approach is to be used easier than
one i m using, would be appreciated.

1. My page no is 3.
2. Hidden Item name is P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID
3. Data entry form, hidden item and the report are on the same page.
4. on the edit link of report, i have used following settings.
    Target: Page in this application
     Page: 3
     and i set hidden item as follows......
     Item 1   P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID         Value #ACTIVITY_ID#
   well, when i click the link on report it does bring Activity_Id in the hidden box (which is not yet hidden for debugging purpose)
Next i wrote Dynamic action which fires on the change event of P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID and run PL/SQL code with in it which is as follows

    :P3_Dept := :Dept;       OR      :P3_Dept := Dept;         arent working which is the actual requirement.
I m not using set value here as i have to set a lot of values on page not one. further. plz let me get rid of this lost focus thing as i want the form to be populated with correct values related to P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID as the user click on any edit_link in the report.

HTMLEkitorKit color change does not work on existing color

My problem is that I use StyledEditorKit.ForegroundAction to update the color of the selected text. It works the first time but if I select a substring of the text with the color attribute and apply the foreground action again the color attribute does not change. If I change the font size or the font family first applying the foreground action to the substring does work. A previous posting listed this as a known bug. I am using sdk 1.4.1_03. I have tried using CSS attributes and setCharacterAttributes as well with no success. Does anyone know of a solution?

Anyone? I tried setting the character attributes of the selected substring one char at a time to no avail. I also tried remove the attribute from the element but that removes the attribute from the whole string and not the selected substring. Help!

Highlighting changes does not work with rulebased workflow

Hi Experts,
When we run the standard change requests provided with MDG 7 FP 2 we can see changes highlighted in colour but when we copy the same change request and make it a rule-based workflow we lose the functionality in the new change request.
Is there something else we need to do to have the same functionality for Rule based workflow?

Yes.I am copying the standard change request that is working with highlighting the changes and then I change the copied workflow to the rule based workflow.
The standard Change requests are highlighting the changes.
I am using MDGF 7 with FP 2.
We upgraded from MDG 6.1 to MDG 7 FP 2 and I am not convinced that the old UI was completely replaced when I run report RGZZGLUX before I opened the firs change request.
I have the new UI in my change requests but the highlighting function is not working , even if I create a new CR from the Standard CR's now.

My track pad does not work anymore

My macbook air was baught in 2010 and the track pad has stopped working. Can it be helped with software ocr is it a hardware issue.

N73 Sports Tracker Still Does Not Work PLEASE FIX

I see people complained about this before /t5/Nseries-Devices-and-S60/Nokia-Sports-Tracker-Won-t-Start-N73/m-p/336675 That was in 2009 with older versions of Sports Tracker. Yesterday i installed the latest firmware from the Nokia website for the N73 on my phone and i just installed Sports Tracker 2.06 on the phone but it does NOT start. Same issue as the other people had in 2009. Is this a new problem now or did Nokia did not learn from its mistakes / failures?! Info of my N73: Firmware version: 4.0839.42.2.1 Sports Tracker version: 2.06 Sports Tracker is installed on phone memory (not sd card) No other extra software is running that could give issues with Sports Tracker (clean installed phone). I really hope to see this problem being fixed as soon as possible. I run 4x a week and my N73 is always with me with Sports Tracker. If it is not possible to fix it i should have to buy a new phone. And that would be a HTC instead.

Sportstracker was a nokia beta product but nokia have now ceased development of this experimental service. They are leaving the old site in place for the foreseeable future to support older devices but no further improvements or fixes will be made.
With it being clearly labelled a beta nokia are under no obligation to fix or support this free service any longer.
Another company has now picked up the rights to use and develop the application further but it is unclear if they will be supporting models as old as the N73.

HT4528 Calendar under IOS7.0.2 has been changed. does not work the same. what happened to LIST mode (multiple entries being displayed in list format) or am i doing something wrong?

I got use to using Calendar app where multiple entries are stacked under IOS6. Under iOS7.0.2 I enter a new appointment and after the entry I can not find the new appointment after i click on done. Am I doing something incorrect HELP!

The list view does not appear to be among the "standard views" for the Calendar app in iOS 7.0.x. You can still get the list view by going to the day view and hitting the search button (magnifying glass icon).

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
