Pages with Facebook Like automatically opening in another tab

Firefox 4 works properly. Its just that when I visit site as
http://www.jagoinvestor.com/ or Indiatimes.com....[http://www.sinlung.com sinlung.com] or any page which has Facebook like button. It automatically opens just the Facebook Page (link below) in a new Tab AUTOMATICALLY
I'm not sure if this a feature in Firefox 4 but its annoying. Further, this does not happen all the time. It usually happens on new sites that I visit.

Go to tools ....then internet options, check your homepage and delete facebook url.

You installed a variant of the "VSearch" trojan. Remove it as follows.
This malware has many variants. Anyone else finding this comment should not expect it to be applicable.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

The trouble may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Then, still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
          Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
          Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
if it's not already checked.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

How do I get new pages in new tabs to automatically go the same setting as my home page? Google is my home page, and I want the opening in new tabs to default to Google also.

Whenever I open a new tab, I want the new page to open to the same setting as my Home Page (in my case, Google). Instead it takes me to Bing. Even my Home Page reverts to Bing after I've set it to Google.

The default New Tab in Firefox is a blank page and there is no built-in option to change that.

Sounds like a mouse on its' way to mouse-heaven. Seriously, the exact symptoms I have seen with a dozen 3 button mouse's (?meese - ?mice) over the last 15 years. <br />
Not registering a click is usually due to a dirty contact. And the "double-click" is when the flat spring looses tension and bounces.
I have had similar happen with the left button, too. But when it happens to that button it is more noticeable much sooner.
I bought a box of a dozen A4D house branded infrared wireless 3-button mouse's for like $24.00 back in 2000 that were on clearance because the driver disk didn't support W2K, only Win95, 98, and NT4. I got newer drivers from the A4D website and wore all 12 out over the 8 or 9 years. I even fixed a few that broke from the parts from other broken mouse's. I still have 6 or 7 of them laying in the "needs to be fixed" box under my workbench. I'll probably never fix them though, the nano receiver USB mouses I have been using for the 4 or 5 years have much better battery life and lately only need one AA battery.

Now i have been trying to work on this for a while now and what i want to do should be simple but its apparently not.
Here is an example of what i want to happen.
I will have 2 tabs: Contact | Sales
Now Contacts will have the list of names and various information about a customer, While Sales will have one drop-down box for each Cell Row that will show the names of the person in tab contacts
for what i am wanting to do i cant use the data format pop-up menu because the list is edited everyday several times a day.
Now how do i do this, Excel can do this so how can numbers do it?

BY removing avg toolbar from your firefox adds-on should remove this problem

Opening a pdf document open in another tab prevents the mouse scroll wheel from responding in the current tab. I have observed this behaviour since version 3.x.

Right click on link for pdf document and "Open in another tab"
Immediately, the mouse wheel scroll function stops working in the current tab (or any other open tabs).
It's not a deal breaker, just a strange annoyance.

Using similar scroll function on my netbook. To add to the above, I find that using scroll is actually causing the PDF to scroll rather than the tab I'm actually in.
Reader 9 is installed on my Win7 Starter.

I used to be able to right-click on a link and ask for it to be opened in another tab. That option is on the right-click menu, but nothing happens. I am using Windows XP, Firefox 36.04

I have reinstalled after deleting the Firefox folder.

Why is my Facebook LIKE shows 0, although we have 175 likes. It was keeping up with current number until i republished my site yesterday.
I removed original button and added new like , but is still shows 0.
Is this another bug with new update?

Hi Armen,
Looking at the source code of the page, the Facebook url is incorrect. It reads: http://https//www.facebook.com/ArmenyCustom, which is one too many http://s! I'm guessing you pasted in the whole url into the widget's options, try it just by adding it from www onwards.
