Pages won't open Document from email even though when I click Word doc it says open in pages and nothing happens?

My sister has sent me a document to my mobile me email, it's looks like a Word doc as it just shows a big (W) in box, when I click on document to open it it says "open in Pages" so I click that and then nothing happens. I've waited for it to download completely but still nothing. Can anyone help please?

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes

Just updated from elements 11 to 13. When I try to use Levels in Elements 13. I click on the slider with my bamboo pen and nothing happens for a few seconds, sometimes not at all. This worked fine in Elements 11.

Trouble opening documents in word that were created in pages (even though i saved as word doc)

I know how to save documents in pages to word format, I've seen the tutorials and read things over and over again about this. However, I am creating some documents in pages, saving them as word docs, emailing them to other people who are opening up on PC with word, but the formatting and the paragraphs are all messed up. I really need help so I can get my work done and my documents I create at home in pages will open up correctly in word by others.

So, an update of sorts.
Turns out it's not a total hang—if I leave the ball spinning (for 30+ minutes), the open dialogue finally pops up... but it's in an empty home folder.
We seem to have some sort of corruption of the home folder file hierarchy (there's an odd folder called "99" that appeared on the root of the server's main drive—I can't get access to it, and I don't want to monkey with the permissions until I can figure out what it is) that dates from the same time that our problem popped up. The only thing that I can think of that I changed at around that time was to add a new group home folder. Might I have mucked up the file system? (Shouldn't be that easy, should it? But hey, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!)
Any thoughts or suggestions? Could the problems (the phantom folder and the spinning ball of almost-doom) be related? Or am I simply dealing with a pair of peculiarities that are unrelated, or that are both symptoms of yet another problem, rather than cause and effect?

When making an iphoto book nothing happens when I double click to open a page to work on it.

Try the following: make a temporary, backup copy of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

I am trying to download Silverlight to use Netflix, however I just get a silverlight_developer.pkg that opens in Terminal and nothing happens.

I have Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 and I'm having trouble downloading Silverlight to watch Netflix. I've tried several different ways from researching online. It just downloads a silverlight_developer.pkg and when I open it it opens in Terminal and says Silverlight_Developer.pkg-bash-80x24. I'm not a computer genius so I don't knwo what any of this means, but I knwo its not right. Please help!!

Every time i try to download something, i get redirected to the home page and nothing happens (mac osx mavericks, 10.9.4) DETALS INSIDE!

i tried to download HotSpot Shield. i go to their home page and click download and i get redirected to the home page and there is no download, NOTHING HAPPENS.
same thing with trying to download magnet links and .torrent files on Piratebay.se. i click "Get this Torrent" and i get REDIRECTED TO THE HOME PAGE. the .torrent file doesn't appear in Downloads. NOTHING HAPPENS!!

Why wont my computer won't let me put my apps on my iphone? It states my computer is not authorized, even though when I clicked to authorize it it said it already was.

Not to long ago my computer Hard Drive died, and I got a new one and set my computer up to run. I installed Itunes and recently got a update for my iPhone to 5.0. This took my Music and Apps off my phone. I put my Music back on the phone with no problem, but when I went to place the Apps back on my phone, It told me my computer was not athorized to put it on and told me how to athorize it. I went and athuroized it and it told me it was already athorized. So I went to try agian and still will not put the Apps on my phone. What do I do?

I can not update my Pages it is saying it is installed but it isn't?

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Go back to your homescreen, then completely close down your mail app by double clicking the home button to open the multi-tasking bar. Hold your finger on the mail app icon and then click the red circle that appears on the left of the icon.
Once you have done that, reopen the mail app and you should be sorted.
