Pages won't work on my laptop after a free trial

I bought a new Macbook Pro. I wanted Pages so I downloaded a free tiral onto my laptop. The trial was soon over and so using App Store, I bought Pages. It said Pages was installed so I restarted my laptop and opened Pages. When I went to save a document, Pages said that I needed to buy Pages and that my trial was over, then it gave me an oppurtunity to put in an activation code. The App Store never gave me an activation code and still says that the new Pages has been installed. Suggestions anyone?

As I say in the question I don't know what happened but Firefox just stopped operating and then became erratic. So I removed the firefox programme from my computer and reloaded Firefox.
It now runs normally but I can't run Firefox on two tabs, only one, and if I close it down during a session I can't reopen it using the desk top icon. I go to task manager, processes, and end process for Firefox - then I can start it using the icon on the desktop.
I have also noticed that some links on a web page won't work - javascript is involved.

It sounds like you are getting in a hurry.
If you force Firefox to close in a hurry, then it won't normally start until you re-start the computer. There are ways around this, but I'm not going to go into them right now.
None-force way to close Firefox down: Close the program and wait. Do something else. Firefox appears as if it is closed, but it's not. Firefox cleans out cookies and it's cache after you close it. That takes a few minutes. You can't restart it while it's doing house cleaning.
After it is done, then you can restart Firefox normally. You can watch it in the Task Manager.
The same applies if you are installing javascript. You have to wait a few minutes.
As for running it with multiple tabs, I usually have 5 or 6, or more, tabs open at a time. Have no idea what the problem is there. Firefox needs special permission by use of a pop-up option to close with multiple tabs open.

Try uninstalling all versions of Photoshop then run the Adobe cleaner to make sure all traces are removed.
Now install cs3 at this point your serial number should work.

open lightroom and you should see a message about your trial expiring and giving you the option to purchase. click that option and you should be given the option to enter your serial number.
if not, uninstall your lightroom trial (using the adobe uninstaller). then download and install lr 5.7,

I have just downloaded the acrobat creative cloud nad updated my Id software after a free trial, howeevr now I am being told my acrobat pro 11 trial is finished and I need to purchase a licience. I bought Acrobat pro last march seperately and now I am required to buy it again because I downloaded another Adobe product?

I launched from the actual applications icon but the Photoshop extended trial requires me to license to software or it kicks me off. There are no other buttons available.

Wifi with Login pop up or page won't work most of the time

Free wifi with login areas don't work anymore on my machine after a couple of uses. I haved used them in these locations before and know the signal is strong and they are working and other people are able to connect. What happens is the login window or page won't load after a few times. I"ve tried several things after reading throgh several disscussions with this and no success.
1. I tried making a new wireless location and a new dns. Dosn't work.
2. I tried spoofing my my mac adress (dosn't work)
3.Clearing out all the cache and system files using onyx (this worked at first and after a restart I would get the login window but now no longer works)
4. Referesing the browser and or clearing cache and restarting (dosn't work)
5. I tried disabling the fire wall and making sure all the java and browser pop ups are open.
This is a huge problem as I work from home as a web developer and designer but have to wait anther two weeks for internet at home and can't use the free wifi. My cell service barly works in my appartment but barley and is costing a fortune. Any help on this issue would be greatly apreciated. Apart from buying a pc I'm not sure what to do.

One of the free wifi services I can use will work if I turn off the ocsp and crl from the keychain preferences. Apparently there apple put this in place and it can cause problems with the pop ups from the free wifi services. It still only works with one of the free services with this disabled and apparently opens up security issues.

6th Gen Nano Won't Work In My Car After Restore

When I first bought my Red Nano, it wouldn't work with my car mp3 player. I took it to a Genius Bar, and the guy said he'd try some type of update. Whatever he did, it worked. Yesterday my Nano started acting wonky, so I restored it today. Now it won't play in my car. Does anyone have any idea what the Genius guy might have done to make it work last time?

After trying reset, reinstall, blah, blah, blah, I got the wild idea to see if my Classic would still play in my car. It did. So I tried my Nano again. This time it worked. I don't know why, all I care about is that it's working again.

This one is easy. The shortcut is for the old iTunes, that is why it won't work.
I assume you are using Windows.
If so, go to the bottom left of your screen and click the start button. Go up to programs and hold your cursor over it. A list of all your programs should pop up to the right. Move the curso over to iTunes. There should be an "about iTunes" and an iTunes logo there. Right click on the iTunes logo and click create shortcut (you can also just drag it out to your desktop). That will give you a desktop shortcut for your new version.

Hi, I am brand new to my ipod and i plugged it into my PC to get it started, then i plugged it into a friends mac to get his songs- now when i plug it back into my computer it says it is linked to another itunes library and asks if i want to link it back to this one and replace all of the music. I do not want to loose all of the music but want it reconnected to my itunes with the music on my computer and taking the music on the ipod (from my friends itunes) into my itunes. What do i do? That above article will not resolve the issue. It explaines it clearly in the article.
"Using an iPod formatted for Macintosh on a Windows computer is not supported. Using an iPod formatted for Windows on a Macintosh computer is not supported."
this means that it won't work with out a 3rd party tool. You HAVE to restore it if you take it between different OS. That document works only if your taking it between windows machines or all mac machines.

Hi I have Lightroom 4 and last night I downloaded Lightroom 5 with a free trial for 30 days, but I couldn't work on that because was very slow, so I uninsalled Lr5, but now I can't work in my Lr4, it is extremely slow and it was perfect before. I have a MacBook Pro OS x Lion 10.75, 2.8 Ghz Intel Core i7, storage of 591GB free out of 749 and I have all my photos in an external drive "my passport" with 737 GB free out of 999 GB. How do I get a membership to Creative Cloud after my free trial?

I just finished my free trial for Adobe Creative Cloud. I was using Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Lightroom, Photoshop and more. Now, when I try to join, it asks me for my serial number. I don't have a serial number, so it asks me for my registration, which doesn't seem to exist. I have been running through all of the Adobe pages trying to find a way to simply get a years subscription to Creative Cloud, but I can't find a way.
