Almost every other page on the Internet requires a newer version of adobe flash macromedia and when I try to download it it says apple doesn't allow it. So basically I can't see 50 % of the sites I need, the iPad becomes a little useless for using the Internet.... What can I do? Or can I download it on the computer and then sync with iPad???

If flash is that important to you, return the ipad or sell it, and get something else that works for you, because clearly the ipad is not going to meet your needs, unfortunately. There is no flash for iOS devices, i.e., ipad, iphone, ipod touch. More info here:

Send variable into flash macromedia

Hi,
I would send a variable into flash macromedia.
I explain my problem. I created an flash wherein i send a word into a variable called lol and i read this varibale in a other variable called dis.
But in labview i dont know how i can send this word into lol and read into dis.
I did many research and i made a .vi who could be functional.
can you help me to see where is my error in this .VI.

You could use a web service between Flash and LabVIEW to pass your data? You'll certainly have to develop an adapter for Flash.

Since Adobe acquired Macromedia(*) will we see a convergence of some sort between the Acrobat 3D capabilities and the ones already in Flash, for example the capabiliy to manipulate 3D objects interactively in Flash content? Thanks!

Bueno, me gustaría tener una respuesta tan compacta y
segura en su contenido
que hasta los ingenieros de google y adobe se quedaran
boquiabiertos, pero
no es el caso: Ellos también están detrás de
la solución a este engorroso
asunto desde hace mucho tiempo y es muy complejo hacer que el
ingeniosos
robot de google renderice, (perdón, represente) el
contenido de las
películas interactivas de flash o que los swf's se
vuelvan harto
transparentes para la torpe lectura de una máquina. Pero
sí que podemos
hacer muchas cosas para facilitar la tarea del indexado,
qunque repito que
ninguna de las que te diré son absolutamente fiables y
que todo tiene sus
ventajas e inconvenientes. Veamos:
- Hace ya años que Google indexa parte del contenido
textual (texto
estático, no externo) del archivo swf, en especial los
títulos que se
encuentran en la parte superior de las pantallas, los enlaces
fabricados
diréctamente (sin que sean botones) y algún
contenido javascript.
Contrariamente a lo que se cree esto no solamente sucede con
las películas
principales, sino también con las cargadas desde ellas,
pero nunca estaremos
seguros de si un texto estático será
corréctamente interpretado por el gran
hermano.
Para asegurarnos de que lo haga debemos recurrir a una
técnica que suele
funcionar muy bien.
Para ello hay que entender que los desarrollos web deben
separar el
contenido del estilo y del comportamiento, y aunque el uso de
Flash puede
incluirse en las tres categorías, hace ya tiempo lo
desarrolladores tendemos
a separar el contenido de nuestras películas en archivos
externos (tanto por
la carga modular de la información, como por la
organización de las clases o
la división del trabajo entre diseñadores y
programadores). Pues bien, esta
técnica consiste en utilizar el FlashObject para
incrustar nuestra película
en el html, mediante un archivo javascript, como hacemos de
contínuo hace ya
tiempo, pues de otra manera el Internet Explorer nos avisas
con un cartelito
pedorro.
En primer lugar haremos nuestra página principal como si
no tuviera Flash y
apuntara a un enlace que muestre el contenido (bien un html,
un xml o hasta
una base de datos, lo que quieras que se indexe por google) y
solo si el
usuario tiene el plugin de flash requerido para nuestra
versión y el
javascript activado, le mandamos el contenido flash, de esta
manera:

Esto, escrito en tu archivo js, hace que google se salte el
swf e indexe lo
que ocupa su lugar, pero si el visitante tiene el plugin y el
javascript
instalado y activo, respectivamente, entonces lo
mostrará. Incluso si
apuntas tu web a una base de datos google la reindexará
automáticamente de
contínuo (salvo que el archivo robots.txt de tu servidor
le indique lo
contrario). Puedes, pero debes tener cuidado con, incluir
enlaces externos
en el contenido alternativo, ya que podrían considerarte
una linkfarm y
penalizarte.
Existen otras técnicas, pero esta me da muy buen
resultado.

Salve, sto provando a creare un sito web che fino ad adesso che sembra   perfettamente funzionante.
Ho provato poi ad inserire una galleria immagini file swf esterno, ma riesco a vedere solo la maschera con i pulsanti mentre delle immagini assolutamente niente. Dove sbaglio?

Final Cut Studio and Flash Macromedia 8

Hello everybody,
I would like to know if I can export swf files from Flash 8 (For MAC) to Final Cut Studio in order to convert them to Video files such as *.avi, *.mpg and to modify them. On Flash we can publish a flash file as quicktime file, but several effects included in Flash 8 are not available. We can to export it as AVI, but just from Windows, from Mac is not available, anybody knows why?
For this reason, I have:
1) to publish a flash file as SWF
2) to convert the file from SWF to AVI (with a program like Magic SWF2AVI (from Windows))
3) and it will be ready to work with it on Mac with Final Cut Studio.
If anybody knows how can I simplify it? and how can I work with Final cut from a Flash file using just a MAC?

Yes. It is possible for you to create a *.avi if you have the source *.fla file. In Flash File menu > Export > Export Movie and in that you can choose avi, move, jpg sequence or anything like that. You need to ensure the *.fla file is created with right settings interms of Frames per second etc that is relevant to the settings you need it in FCP. Guess that is what you wanted !!!

Hola.
En en un curso en línea encontré esta herramiente en donde tu tienes un video de un lado de la pantalla y una presentación de powerpoint justo del otro lado del video.
Cuando tu avanzas o retrocedes la presentación también el video avanza o retrocede.
Necesito hacer esto pero no estoy seguro que herramienta de adobe utilizaron para hacer esto. ¿Fue captivate, presenter o alguna otra?

How can I get a Japanese flash web page to display 100% correctly?

I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get some of this web site's font to display correctly. Some of the flash shows in the correct, Japanese, characters, but some of it shows as code. If I log in as a different user, and set that user's International Language preferences to Japanese, the web page displays correctly. But, when I change users, and go back to the English user, the page displays in a mix of Japanese and messed-up code.

If I click onto a different page of that website, http://weathernews.jp/map/
the writing appears as Japanese in the box, at the bottom of the map.
But, if you click on that map, and zoom in 3-times, to the city level, the font in the box under the hourly weather and weekly weather appears as code, and not Japanese.
I'm guessing that it is a problem with the computer booting-up as being English or Japanese, and the browser, then not being able to detect which version of flash to run, the Japanese or English version, cannot display the font correctly.
Why does it happen only on some pages and not all of the pages on that site?
Can it be fixed?
If so, how?

Yeah, I tried Opera and Firefox, but I get the same garbled text. The only thing that makes that page open and display correctly is switching to a different user, and making that user's main language Japanese, in the international settings.
Of course none of this is all that important, I mean, it's about viewing a weather page, but I am just curious why some of the Flash is read or written so that an English language set user can see some of it displayed correctly, but not all of it, where as a user set to Japanese language settings can get all pages correctly.
I know it has to do with how the Flash Macromedia sees the main language setting for the computer, but what I don't get, is how come a user using Japanese as the main language can read English and Japanese Flash pages (pages with English commanded Java come up correctly), but using English as the main language only allows me to view Flash pages written using English commands. Can I change my Flash program to read Japanese pages, without changing my computers main language to Japanese? Or am I stuck with a Flash program that must match the main language the user is using?

Flash Audio Problem -- Audio stops abruptly

Gidday guys,
As part of a website, I currently have a page that includes
11 different flash files. For each flash file, visitors can click a
button to play a small audio clip, and click the button again to
stop the clip from playing.
The problem I have is that each flash file plays 1-2 seconds
or so of it's sample before stopping abruptly. Each sample is
supposed to be around 20 seconds long. IF I remove 10 of the 11
flash files from the page, the one that is still there will play
fine - but as soon as I introduce multiple flash files, the audio
starts dropping out again.
I've tried arranging the audio into the flash files in two
ways.
Firstly, I just linked the mp3 files from the library to the
stage via

noticing that this caused a problem, I tried making a flash
file that called a .swf with the streaming sound in it such as:

issue, as it occurs whether I try to load the page locally or from
my server...Any suggestions for solving this problem would be

Strange flash audio problem

Can anyone help me with this strange audio issue? Seeming
randomly, I am loosing the audio to my movie. I will publish or
preview the movie and notice that suddenly the audio is not there.
I am not doing anything related to the flv and I can’t tell
why it happens. If I go back to the FLA and hit undo several times
I often get the audio back. This time I can’t get it back.
??? Could I have something selected that I don’t know about?
Any thoughts?

Flash Audio problem...

***Please note- I am a MAC user- currently running Tiger OS X
10.4***
I've noticed lately that I can't hear any Flash-based audio
on webpages, regardless of the browser (I mostly use Firefox, but I
also run Opera and Safari). Any Flash-based music player (i.e. the
ones used on MySpace) will load and appear to be playing, but no
sound comes out.
My speakers are fine. I can still play files via iTunes.
I noticed I started having the problem after I downloaded the
MSPlayer codec (

I've deleted to codec, but still have the audio problem. I'm not
even sure if it's related, but the timing of it all leads me to
believe that it is...
I've tried re-installing the latest version of Flash and ran
Disk Utility, but still no sound.
Is there a particular system folder somewhere that I should
be looking for to make sure certain files are in order?
Any help would be greatly appareciated. Thanks!

Flash content not starting

Hello,
since yesterday flash content doesnt start on my computer, this includes videos (youtube, twitch, ...) and also the animation on the test page from adobe with the clouds (Flash Player Help), i can see the picture but no movement. Which also means that i get no error message whatsoever.
I have tried to reinstall firefox/flash, delete the history, delete all the extensions/profile, enabeling flash/macromedia/javascript, but nothing worked so far. The combination IE + Flash does work but Firefox + Flash doesnt =(.
I hope you can help me. My specs:
- Windows 7 Professional SP1
- Firefox 32.0
- Flash 14.0.0.179

Found on web, that renaming directory .metadata fixed some case, and that worked. But have to bring back all my projects to the app. Still faster than uninstalling and install back. Seems that a file gets corrupt, and causes this.
Adobe should let us know of which files could cause this, so we could just delete, remove these specific files. So our environment doesn't have to be intialized all over again.
