Paging missing in subgrid

Hey all,
Does anyone experience this issue where the paging controls in subgrid disappears after clicking on next page?
We have had this issue for a while now, and is still not fixed after SP1 UR1. I wonder if anyone else is having the issue or whether this will be fixed in the next update.
Thanks.
Regards,
Henri

Hi,
it's a known bug, it will be fixed with SP1 UR2
http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2963850
Navigating to the second page of a sub grid will cause the total record count to disappear. Navigating to the last page of the sub grid will cause the entire paging bar to disappear.
The release of the SP1 UR2 is expected (according to a tweet of MS Dynamics support) for January 2015, so probably will be released in these days or it will be delay to February

• Missing self ID for node ...

For no apparent reason, my G5 has been having kernel panics (i.e., the grey screen full of text in different languages, telling you to press the power key).
It has been doing it repeatedly, and I'm not sure I "fixed" it--I turned off a FW800 drive, just as a best-guess without much else to go on.
Repeated boots (after the kernel panic) and I get the following in the console log:
Missing self ID for node 2!
or
Missing self ID for node 3!
Any guess what this is?
Here's the full log for this evening:

I have a simple .Net page that has a dropdown control that a user can select to pass the parameter for the report. I have a server side button that gets the report on the onclick event. The code behind is as follows:
protected void btnReport_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument Myreport = new CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument();
Myreport.Load(Server.MapPath("Reports/rpt_equipment_summary.rpt"));
ConnectionInfo crLoginInfo = new ConnectionInfo();
Database crDatabase;
Tables crTables;

spValue.Value = ddlPastInvoices.SelectedValue.ToString();
paramField.CurrentValues.Add(spValue);
ParamFields.Add(paramField);
CrystalReportViewer1.ParameterFieldInfo = ParamFields;
CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = Myreport;
Is there something i am missing for paging to work?
Thanks in advance

Sorry i forgot to include more information.
.Net 3.5 and I can view this report fine in Crystal report designer. I get no error message when I switch pages. The issue happens when i view the report inside a Crystal report viewer control that i have on the page.
<%@ Register assembly="CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304" namespace="CrystalDecisions.Web" tagprefix="CR" %>
I haven't tried your sample reports. Where can i find those? i have other reports with multiple pages so I can also try using those reports as well.
Thanks again,
Pablo

• Missing back of PC cover for MSI motherboard

Hello I have looked high and low, I purchased an MSI motherboard about a year ago, it shipped without the silver metal cutout which covers the back of the motherboard (the connectors) and keeps out dust and stray RF. I have been having a fair amount of crashes lately and it's because this is missing and stray radio waves are interfering and crashing my computer.
The system board I have is: MSI 880GM-E41 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Where can I purchase a replacement cover for this system board please?? Surely someone can help.
Thanks

Quote from: XFM on 15-October-12, 11:18:32
You're PC crashes are not likely to be caused by stray RFI. You must have something else causing the crashes. There are plenty of us that have before and run now PCs outside of a case with no I/O shield and the metal case to shield the MB from RFI so whoever gave you the idea that RFI is causing the crash problem is wrong.
No harm in trying to find the I/O plate/shield but you need to look at other possible causes for the crashing.
First thing you need to do here is provide a list of the components in the PC so we can help you find the real cause of your problem.
You would think that, but my PC actually drives a 50W UHF paging transmitter for a community, and we've traced down the crashes to whenever a specific paging message is transmitted. If I lower the power output of the paging transmitter to a few watts it doesn't crash the PC. This is a little more power than your normal home. I will check the link provided by the poster above.

• Missing Features for Discussions site

I am regular user of Apple Discussion site and there are a couple key features missing for this site.
1. Sorting of threads - Please allow for sorting the threads under a discussion topic by views and replies. This way we can see what are some of the top problems for a particular Apple product that lot of users are facing similar issues
2. Paging - I don't see an option to go to the last page to view the most recent posts in a particular threaded discussion

Some of this can be done under "My settings" and "Topic Page View" but I agree it is a nuisance to have to change settings at that level all the time if you want to very how each things you read is sorted.

• No internet connection on either x64/x86 flavor on Windows 10 -- Missing Sockets entries as well.

Hi all,
I was referred here from http://answers.microsoft.com site, by a Microsoft Support Engineer....
I had (and still have virtual-box). I have installed yesterday the VMware workstation as well (which apparently is not compatible with Hyper-V.
I've installed both Windows10 Preview flavors under HYPER-V. On either one, I cannot connect to the internet (and thus activate either). The x64bit says it's missing files needed (I've
checked detailed view, it points to "missing windows sockets registry entries" and has 2 "?" marks under Device manager (one of which is the acpi) - Even after a fresh, SECOND, install.
The x86 flavor, says i do not have valid ip. (I had to make local user account because of the no internet access). I went through the defaults while installing
(no motherboards drivers have been asked to be installed). This is a Desktop computer with wired high-band routers.
Can anyone suggest a solution for the connection? (I now obviously also have the external switch and is is connected and i can surf on the primary Win8.1 OS).
Do I really need BOTH VMware and Hyper-V installed / Which one is better for this specific problem..
ANY help will be greatly appreciated.
Update:
I've took off Hyper-V completely. Re-stared, Tried to set it up under VMware workstation, got the same results. Either "no valid ip", or missing sockets. (Vmware adapter is enables, but no connection in either ipv4 and
ipv6. Exactly the same
happens with Hyper-V.
With Utmost Respect,
The motherboard is MSI. The CPU is I-7. 6GB ram avail.
Kind Regards,
Me.
Update 2:
Problem resolved. Here's what i did:
Completely removed the Hyper-V platform from Windows Featured. Then rebooted.
(Vmware services are still running but with no usage for now).
Opted in the Enable PAE/NX under system/Processor tab in VirtualBox.
Opted in the Enable VT-x/AMD-V & Nested Paging under system/Acceleration tab in VirtualBox.
Created the Virtual PC as VHD!!
Both of the above -- are grayed out when the Hyper-V platform is installed and therefor will NOT allow Windows 10 Preview to either install well or connect and activate - until the Hyper-V is removed.
Seems that taking OFF the native, built in Hyper-V Virtualization Platform altogether - Solved the issue.
Just shows that the respectable VirtualBox (v.4.3.12),
Works like a charm where the other two platforms, Did not. (Kindly note that the Hyper-V Switch, was installed with no evadent issues, it did show traffice - for a few seconds, then remained enabled BUT both IPv4 & IPv6 went to no connection).
Windows managed to successfully Connect and auto activate -- on both x86 & x64 flavors.

Use this set of drivers and put on FAT Flash memory card to access.
They will work and better due to your having a 2011 model you should consider Lion OS eventually.
Can't locate? the Apple Setup.exe or Bootcamp.msi (Bootcamp64.msi for 64-bit) will only be accessible when in Windows.

<property name="hibernate.jdbc.use_scrollable_resultset" value="true"/>But cant understand what is wrong? Did i miss something?

Quote from the documentation:
"Enables use of JDBC2 scrollable resultsets by Hibernate. This property is only necessary when using user supplied JDBC connections, Hibernate uses connection metadata otherwise."
"Connection metadata" in this case I interpret as "we figure it out ourselves"; this article makes me thing that:
http://www.javalobby.org/java/forums/t63849.html
The conclusion that I draw from all this is that if you set the proper Hibernate dialect, Hibernate SHOULD be using scrollable resultsets on its own to make pagination work. So did you configure the wrong dialect, or is it perhaps time to visit a hibernate forum to ask around if others have run into this issue?
Side note: not related to this problem, but in my experience pagination doesn't work reliably unless you have some sort of order by clause in there. Otherwise the DBMS can return results in any arbitrary ordering, which can be different each "page" you fetch.

• ERROR 'Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1' if RangePaging is selected

Hi,
I have a VO which is tuned to use access mode as Range Paging , and the Range Size is 100. I have created a search region (af:query with table) using the VO, the table has the selection listener. On selecting a row from the result a graph is rendered which is dependent on the data of the row.
Now, the filter criteria results in many rows(say 1000). For the first few rows (100 )the scenario is working as expected, But once I scroll down to see more results in the table and then selected a row, then there is an error coming up 'Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1'.
Jdev Version : 1.5
PS: I googled for any known issues the I found out that there is bug for Range Paging which is similar to this but of using LOV . So, is there any work around, or solution for this.
Thanks
Narsing

Hi,
can you post whole sql, and version of JDeveloper?
regards,

• Bug UIX 2.2.8: German translation for paging drop down

Hi, there is a minor bug in the german translation of the paging drop down ("1-8 of 30") of a table.
In German there is a missing space: "1-8 von30" instead of "1-8 von 30".
Bug is new in 2.2.8. Was ok in 2.1.21.
Thanks, Markus

Hi Markus,
Bug 3852688 has been filed and is being tracked.
If you want a patch, you can request for it through your support contract or wait for the next upgrade.
The next upgrade you can probably get would be 10.1.2 JDEV

• Template - background image missing

Hi I'm sorry to be back but I have another problem that I don't seem to be able to solve. I have looked at similar posts online, but don't seem to have found the answer.
I have created a template from Dreamweavers blank templates. I have made ONLY TWO CHANGES to the blank template. I've added a background image, and removed the background colour from the .body element. I'm hoping this will help isolate my mistake.
When I create a new page from this template the background image does not display. I've noticed that the image path is changed in the child page - whereas the template displays the relative path, the full path is given in the child. I don't know if this is part of the problem?
The problem occurs both when I preview the site through a browser, as well as online.
I know I should be using templates for site-building, so need to know what I'm doing wrong here. Many thanks, and please remember that I'm a novice so put it very simply so that I can grasp what your saying!
http://www.gillwykes.com/development/frank_test/testpage2.html
Thanks!

I just tried a different approach. Created a new site, through Site Manager. Created an new HTML paged and did Save as Template. I then added an image ( which is stored in the images folder in the site) as a background through Page Properties. I saved and closed the template, and did File, New Page from Template. The image did not display, and the path to the image was changed. Here is the code.

I'm obviouly missing something along the line. It can't be a glitch in CS5.5 because it would be known by now! But I've tried so many different files and methods now I'm totally confused.
Next step, seeing if I can edit it in Notepad, and how that afffects things, and also digging out a previous version of Dreamweaver and see what happens there. Will let you know!

• How to enable LDAP paged results in Active Directory Auth. Provider

Hello!
I Trying to establish connect with Active Directory server via AD provider in security realms ( it needs for IRM).
I configured provider, restarted the server, but when i trying to view all users in weblogic, i see only 1000 records from AD.
I read that default count of records from AD which returns server is 1000, but we can return more than 1000 records without changing AD property by using paging.
Where can i find this option or how can i configure it in weblogic?
Thanks in advance.

The first example was almost correct !
The error message: "javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: [LDAP: error code 32 - 0000208D: NameErr: DSID-031001C6, problem 2001 (NO_OBJECT), data 0, best match of: 'CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=ric,DC=com'; " simply indicates a naming error.
If you follow the logic of your code, you are trying to create an attribute with the distinguished name:[code]CN=fooattr,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=ric,DC=com,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=ric,DC=comIf you are wondering why, it is because you are attempting to create the subcontext from the schema naming context.schema.createSubcontext("CN=fooattr," + dn,attr);You can correct this by changing your code toschema.createSubcontext("CN=fooattr",attr); or toctx.createSubcontext("CN=fooattr," + dn,attr);One other error, you are missing one of the mandatory attributes; namely oMSyntax.attrs.put("oMSyntax","2");You can find details on the Active Directory Schema at http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/97cae647-d996-48ff-b478-c96193abeadb1033.mspx
A simple way of checking the mandatory attributes for any object class is to look at the values of the systemMustContain attribute of the objectClass definition. In the case of attributeSchema, the systemMustContain attribute includes: schemaIDGUID (automagically generated), oMSyntax, ldapDisplayName, isSingleValued, cn, attributeSyntax and attributeID
Another reference that is helpful is a table of Attribute Syntax definitions at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/reskit/distrib/dsbe_ext_dghb.mspx
The only words of advice for extending the schema are:
1. Test, Test, Test, before deploying in production
2. Do not ever reuse attributeID's or make up your own! If you are extending the schema get your own OID from an appropriate standards authority, or they may be obtained from Microsoft. Refer to http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms677621.aspx or http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms677620.aspx

• Paging not working

Hey guys,
I am having major trouble getting paging to work with my datagrid. Here is what is happing right now.
After data is send to ColdFusion CFC, "count" function is called, and returns correct result, but then the "get" function is called over and over, and data is not even displayed in my datagrid. Here is what my code looks like

<mx:Panel xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

xmlns:cfservice="services.*" width="100%" height="100%"
paddingLeft="0" paddingRight="0"
horizontalGap="0" verticalGap="0" layout="vertical"
styleName="catalogPanel" title="Search Result"
creationComplete="initSearchResultPanel()">
<fx:Script>
protected function initSearchResultPanel():void{
util.app.addEventListener(SearchDBEvent.SEARCH_DB_EVENT,searchDBRequest);
protected function searchDBRequest(event:SearchDBEvent):void{
var obj:Object = event.struct;
var d:DataManager=SearchRPC.getDataManager(SearchRPC.DATA_MANAGER_SEARCHDBRESPONSE);
d.pageSize=obj.PAGESIZE;
getSearchRSLTResult.token = SearchRPC.getSearchRSLT(obj);
downloadBttn = new LinkButton();
downloadBttn.label = "Download Search Sequences";
downloadBttn.name = obj.ENVIRONMENT;
downloadBttn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,function (e:MouseEvent):void {
downloadSeqRequest(e,obj); });
this.addChild(downloadBttn);

</fx:Script>

</mx:DataGrid>
</mx:Panel>
I would ideally like to get my datagrid created in an action script instead of creating my datagrid as an mxml component.
Am I doing something wrong or missing something? Please help me figure this out
Thanks
Jay

No, I am not using my own paging scheme. In Flash builder 4 I have setup my DataService for a ColdFusion cfc. Then configure a return type, and enabled paging. In flex is am using rpc call as below to communicate with my cfc.
<fx:Declarations>
<cfservice:SearchRPC id="SearchRPC" showBusyCursor="true" fault="util.faultHandler(event)"
destination="ColdFusion" endpoint="http://localhost/flex2gateway" source="cfc.SearchRPC"/>

<s:CallResponder id="getSearchRSLTResult"/>
</fx:Declarations>

• Missing declared association property

A fill command like so:
<mx:Button label="Fill" click="{se.fill(entitymaps)}"/>
In this data service:
<mx:DataService id="se" destination="entityds"/>

When the 'children' property of EntityMap is not declared, EntityMap looks like this:
package maps
import mx.collections.ArrayCollection;
[Managed]
[RemoteClass(alias="alex.onetomany.Entity")]
public class {
public function EntityMap() {}
public var name:String;
public var identity:String;
Despite the fact that the entityds destination looks like this......
<destination id="entityds">
<properties>
alex.onetomany.EntityAssembler
<scope>application</scope>
<metadata>
<identity property="identity"/>
</metadata>
<network>
<paging enabled="false" pageSize="10" />
</network>
</properties>
</destination>
...the problem still seems to occour. The strangest thing is when I rename the destination from entityds to 'blah' (on the server in data-management-config.xml and on the client in my MXML file OneToManyTest.mxml) the error no longer happens.
Questions:
1) When exactly is the missing declared association property: supposed to appear? Is it when you add some associated property in data-management-config.xml, if so....
2) How come it does not appear for the nodeds data service when I give it a similar children property on-to-many configuration in data-management-service.xml like so:
<destination id="nodeds">
<properties>
alex.onetomany.NodeAssembler
<scope>application</scope>
<metadata>
<identity property="identity"/>
<one-to-many property="children" destination="nodeds"
load-on-demand="true"
read-only="true"
lazy="false"/>
</metadata>
<network>
<paging enabled="false" pageSize="1" />
</network>
</properties>
</destination>
3) Most importantly: why does it appear for entityds and only when the destination is called entityds and nothing else.

Do you have the XML request that you are sending?

• Reminders on SMS, Missed VM's

I find it hard to believe that on an Iphone if you happen to miss the chirp from an SMS or a Voicemail, that the only way you kno youhave a voicemail is to look at your phone? Mmh, whats wrong with that picture!
I dont know about you but if I am sleeping I probably wont here that chirp (or other ringtone allowed in that notification). And as a network engineer, sms and voicemails are critical - sometimes we get paged at 3am and in a deep sleep there is a good chance we wont here the sms come in.
So I guess if you are a network engineer, a doctor or any profession where you need to be on call 24/7 then the iphone is not for you?
All phones I know allow you to set reminders every x mins - do I absolutely have to jailbreak my phone to possibly get this done?
What is the logic with Apple an the lack of some a basic and critical function in a phone!
Peter

It does surprise me Apple haven't provided for this. As much as I love my iPhone, I don't want to be switching it on just to check for missed alerts, so I've posted on the Feedback site. Fingers crossed.
There are 2 enhancements I'd like to see :
1) A periodic audible beep to draw my attention to missed things so I don't have to turn my phone on to check those. In the next iPhone I'd like to see one of those tiny white LEDs which only illuminates when something has not been acknowledged - ie. not one of those daft permanently flashing ones on other smartphones.
2) A way to disable all notifications except phone calls when I'm sleeping - ie. 'don't notify me between xx:xx and xx:xx' - similar to what Twitter does with SMS alerts.

• View Cart Link Missing

I have no clue what I have done but my view cart link that shows up after adding something to the shopping cart is missing from the page. How do I get it back? How did I remove it? I am still relatively new to this and keep stumblin gover silly things like this.
