Painfully using Pocketmac for 2 years....

Painfully using Pocketmac for 2 years. now, but waiting to see if the Blackberry Desktop is able to sync with:
Macbook Pro 17" laptop running 10/6/4
and...... Entourage 2008 , Calendar, Notes, Tasks, Contacts ?
Without :
Duping, migrating someone elses number to another contact!
Or should I stick with Picketmac - Is the Software still not great?
I know I should probably search the forum, but I'm wondering if anyone else out there can give me the low down on this quickly before having to go to the trouble for the second time or erasing packetmac, then installing Blackberry Desktop and only to find its not going to work?

I have an ipad which I received from my fiancee' who passed away. I used it for a year with my own ID. I decided to have it cleared so that I could download apps. I am now locked out . I have his ID no pswrd, suggestions? Genius bar no help

I had a similar problem with a Canon MP800R under Mac OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks.
In my case, the MP Navigator app in the dock was linking to the wrong file.
It linked to Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app > Contents > Resources > MP Navigator.app, but it should link to the "main" app, probably under Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app.
After pulling the correct MP Navigator app file to the dock, I can start MP Navigator again by clicking on it in the dock. However, when clicking on it, a second MP Navigator icon will show up in the dock and stay there until the app is closed. By the way, the MP800R scanner also works (although officially not supported by Canon).

So basically the phone I was tracking was working an hour earlier it had no signal at times when it did pick up a signal it located it easily but an hour later the message came up no devices registered when my friend returned home I Checked the device I was tracking to make sure find my iphone was on but it was off and my friend didnt turn it off so my question is why did it turn itself off???

My iphoto will not open for some reason. the cursor just keeps running...been using this for 3 years with no problem. It started doing this after I tried to load some photos from a camera I have successfully used before

I cannot open my Iphoto on my macbook pro. I have used it for three years with no problem. However, after trying to load some pictures from my camera it seems to have frozen up. Then exposure and White balance changes would change the histogram but not the appearance of the photo. Finally clipping was also not appearing on the picture. I first reuploaded the photos. No effect. Then I reinstalled lightroom. No effect. Help please!

One step listed in the link to "helpful" info, was (when Iooked 30 seconds ago), to search for and download the newest version of iTunes. I'm running iTunes on Win 7 machine and was prompted to update today, 10.22.2014, and did so without a problem. Having said that, however, it looks as though the latest iTunes (12.0.1.26) is finally doing what the last version refused to do, which is to actually fully populate all my playlists on my 6, but there is a hitch: 12.0.1.26 will NOT allow you to show the sidebar unless you click on "playlists," that is, you cannot keep it open all the time.
And, when plugging the 6 into the computer, the phone icon shows up but clicking on it does nada. What does work, for some strange reason, is clicking on the tiny icon (just under the "Store" menu link at top screen) which looks much like a tiny barrel, someone's idea of external drives, I suppose. The phone then comes up, with the list of stuff on the phone just under it where the sidebar used to be. Sync is now restricted to the lower right of the screen.
Apparently, you will also need to update your iPhone's software as well; some friends with the 4 and 4s, however, had troubles with them after upgrading. The message from Silicon Valley (I can see Apple from my backyard, ha ha) is apparently, "keep upgrading," folks, get rid of those old phones.

I have experienced the same problem on my my iPad1, my former iPhone 4 my laptop and even my new iPhone5 though I had really hoped that the new phone and IOS would solve the problem. About 5% of the songs are affected and the stoppage can range from seconds short to a minute and a half. The file shows more of the music left, but it stops playing and goes to the next song. Very aggravating. Appears to happen on purchased and uploaded music.
