Paint brush does not paint where I am pointing.

I am using the new snow lepord 10.6 and CS4. When I go to paint, I place the circle and click but it starts painting about 3/8" lower that where I am pointing, any ideas?

This has nothing to do with SL.
You created a new doc in full screen mode. cycle through full screen mode using the F key. everything will be back to normal.

I am getting the same error, also when starting CS6 I receive a message that my graphic device driver is not officially supported. I have updated the drivers and have never had any issues with any other programs. It appears to be a bug in the program.

Photoshop brush does not represent correctly when recorded with Adobe Captivate 7 How do I Fix this?

Hello I have only just recently purchased adobe captivate 7.
I am currently recording some footage in Photoshop and when ever I change the photoshop's brush size it does not correctly record it in Captivate but rather a giant pixelated version of it. or the brush does not match the size of the brush it is painting.

I was wondering if it is possible to record the cursor as it displays on my screen.
below you can clearly see it is recording the brush size at the wrong size to what is been drawn. its kinda random in how it does it.

Drag and dropping an address from address book to the desktop, the address file does not go where my mouse is positioned.

You have to assign the favicon yourself to the desktop shortcut (right-click the shortcut: Properties) after you have dragged the link to the desktop.
You can usually find the favicon in Tools >Page Info > Media and save the icon there.
Otherwise use the main domain of the website and add favicon.ico (e.g. mozilla.com/favicon.ico ) to display the favicon in a tab and save that image to a folder.

Report painter report does not exist after applying support pack

Hi,
I have created report with the help of report painter for FI.
Also created transaction code for the same.
After applying the support pack, while testing I got the error that
program in the transaction code does not exists.
How to search that program and where or I need to create the same program again?

The reason could be having (1) invalid characteristics value or (2) have not properly defined the General Data Section, most likely (1) in this case.
Either way, go to t-code GRR2 to change the report.
In the report row or column, is there an Element (the labels in red color) that does not make sense?
It could still have the correct label names, but double-click and go into "Record Types (from your error message)". Be sure to have the correctly define values attached to each Characteristics.
If all above seems okay, try (From top bar, select) Edit --> General Data Section. Think of this section as the "header data" of the report.

Firefox does not paint the window if Windows 7 Basic theme is selected and Fujitsu USB port replicator PR07 is used

If I use "Windows 7 Basic" theme on my laptop (Fujitsu Lifebook A532), the Firefox window is not painted.
I see only the border of the window, the content not. As soon as I switch back to the "Windows 7" theme,
it works again.
It could be related to the graphics driver (from Intel) of my new laptop.
Before I had a desktop computer, and did not have this problem.
Update: the problem occurs only if I use my port replicator (Fujitsu USB Port Replicator PR07).
If I unplug the replicator, and use only the monitor of my laptop, everything is fine.

Paint bucket tool not painting color on canvas

Ok - I'm new to photoshop (I just got cs4) and can't seem to get the paint bucket tool to paint the background. I've started out with a new canvas, selected paint bucket and color from color menu on right side. Foreground is selected and the paint bucket tool is showing on my cursor - when I click on it over my canvas I expected it to change to the color I selected and it does nothing. Help??

Local Adjustment Brush does not work in Windows 7, 64-bit

All other tools and functions work OK. My issue is just with the Adjustment Brush; The Adjustment Panel opens when the brush is selected and the brush moves, but none of the adjustments are applied to the image. The problem is clearly related to the new operating system. This was just confirmed, by removing the hard drive with the Windows 7, 64-bit OS, and inserting an old hard drive with Windows Vista, 32-bit installed. The adjustment brush works fine with the old OS and the same version of PS.
My normal monitor resolution is 1920 x 1200 with a DPI of 151; however, this DPI is not compatible with PS, so I reset it to 149 evey time I use PS. Lower screen resolutions and DPI settings don't resolve the problem. I mention this only because of a previous cursor problem that was resolved by changing the DPI.
I'm using CS4 with Camera Raw version 5.6. Version 5.5 also does not work.
Can anyone offer suggestions?

Problem solved. One of the recent upgrades to Camera Raw reset the flow rate to zero, which I did not notice until after posting the message.

IPod does not continue where it was pause

Does anyone know why when I pause a song, and if I go and do something else like surfing the web or if my phone gets lock, when I get back to iPod, it does not let me continue the song where I left off. It returns to the iPod main screen

When you browse the web, use native apps, do they crash at all?
There is a discussion in another thread (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1534241) that seems to have correlated play list changes (play count, date last played, ratings, etc.) being lost due to other application crashes.
Let's gather a bit more data and see if that is the cause, and if so, if we can get enough information to Apple to have them fix it. (I have not tried the 2.0.2 software yet, so I don't know if that does fix anything.)

OSD: prestaged image does not distribute to remote distribution point

Hi,
We have an SCCM 2012 with 2 distribution points: a virtual (the sccm server) and a physical (a pure distribution point). Once and a while we have issues with deploying packages to the physical dp but clearing it and redistirbuting solves the issue.
Now we have a big OS image (15 GB) which does not want to deploy to the physical distribution point at all.
The status stays "in progress" since this morning 11 AM (+/- 8 hours ago). Other packages distribute also slowly but fine.
Distmgr.log shows only logs from end of March this year and then stopped logging anything so I don't have a clue what is going wrong.

Healing Brush does not work

When I use the healing brush, I see the white paint, but when I click and let go, nothing happens. I am on a Mac.

the tool appears in some parts of the image, in other parts it is a little hand, or a little microscope.
The tool should be the spot tool no matter were you are at on the image. The hand and the magnifying glass should only appear on the image during use of the spot tool when you hold the space bar down so you can zoom in and out and move the zoomed image around. I have seen comments of this problem of the cursor only being correct on a part of the image but I don't know what the solution is. Sorry!!

LR 2 Healing Brush Does Not Work?

I see no difference when using the clone brush and the heal brush in LR2. The heal brush sets a clone source just like the clone brush. I was watching Julieanne Kost's tutorial on the LR2 Develop module and when she uses the heal brush, it appears to work more like the healing brush in PS (no source is set).
I am wondering if this is a bug in LR2 or whether I am doing something wrong or I just don't understand what the heal brush is suppose to do. I am running LR2 under Windows Vista.

The two brushes work almost exactly the same, except one has a hard edge and the other a soft edge, and one is a clone while the other acts like a heal (matching tone in the area). So both need a source. However, both can auto-select that source.

Image does not appear where it was placed

I have inserted an image to appear in the body tag (i.e. it should be within the cream colored section. It looks great in DreamWeaver Design and in Live Modes. But when I upload to the server it is placed in the left tag. What am I doing wrong?
I did validate the page - no obvious issues.

Murray suggested that I stay away from AP Divs/Layers until I get more comfortable with html and css. I haven't entered in the text yet - but should be able to do that later today. I am hoping the special characters work. BTW is there a trick to getting the special characters? I am simply copying and pasting from my existing site (I used free software from my isp a few years back). I tried typing the paragraph in word inserting special characters and then cutting and pasting into DW....but they all disappeared. Yet another thing for me to figure out....but I am enjoying the learning experience.

This runs in a while next from mysql DB, gets 5 rows back.
If a real date is in the field I want to print out the date in the else.
otherwise I want to display nothing if the date field in MysQL DB has 0000-00-00 inside (default value).
if (rs.getString(4).equals("0000-00-00")) {
out.println("0000-00-00");
} else {
out.println("real date");

Have you checked that the value coming from database is 0000-00-00 only for the results?
If correct,
Do the following :
Put the rs.getString(4) value into a string. now compare the string. using the code
String strDate = rs.getString(4);
if (strDate.equalsIgnoreCase("0000-00-00")) {
out.println("0000-00-00");
else {
out.println("real date");
