Painting and using different Layers

Hi,
I have to develop a Swing interface where i have to do lot of painting,
Like there will be a background which will be showing some strips with different colors, which will be stable,
On this background I have to draw some rectangle , off different size,
and add the function so the user can click on the rectangle and drag it and drop it
I have to develop a kind of scheduling , like microsoft scheduler or take a look at the following example

I need some help in finding some tutorial on how to use different panes in JApplet , like th layered panes, the glass panes etc
Any advice on developing such an Applet

I already have subclassed JPanel and override the paintComponent method to do all the painting , but the problem i am having is there is a lot of painting and when ever i move the mouse over it repaint method is called and so there is chance that the applet will not work if the graphics card of the user is not good,
Can u point me to some example where a RepaintManager() is used,
also i want to use layers so i can avoid the repainting of the background even if the user clicks on it, or drap and drops the rectangle drawn

iOS 7 does not support multiple user accounts like you want.
If all the apps are different, you could set her up with her own page of apps, then just show her how to get to her apps page, or just buy her an iPad for herself.

The system on the original install dic is probably looking for the original video card.
It may be possible for someone with the right skills to make an install disc for you with the driver for your new card.
As I recall from my early days of being a Macuser, If you held down a key, (spacebar?), while starting it would open a dialog to take you through a monitor setup.

Album artwork can be added/changed on songs via the iTunes Get Info menu item from the File menu. Note that music that you loaded from CDs will not have any artwork. If you want to aquire artwork you can try the File menu item Library > Get Artwork or you can download artwork from the internet, etc. Note that just changing artwork on your computer won't affect the iPod until you sync.
If the artwork is correct on your computer iTunes then delete all the music on your iPod by syncing with iTunes with no music selected. Then reload the music onto your iPod by again syncing with iTunes with all the music you want selected.

Installing and using different software on different computers of Master collection simultaneously

If i purchase the "Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection",
Can i install and use the different software on different computers simulataneously?
example:
Can i use photoshop cs6 on machine 1
and then illustrator cs6 on machine 2
and then indesign cs6 on machine 3
all simulataneously?

No. It's not possible. You have 2 activations that are valid for all apps and that is that. Read the EULA

I phone won't charge! neither from my I mac nor from the wall and using different cables!

My iphone ran out of battery completely and know it won't charge at all it's dead. Won't charge from my Imac nor from the wall. I tried even tried using different cables. What else can I try?

I am trying to save data to a spreadsheet.
Each set of test data needs to be saved under a different worksheet. Is this possible and how can I do it?

As the example that Dennis pointed out, this can be done using activeX. In addition to that example I have another that demonstrates how to create a new workbook with multiple worksheets and save data to each of them. I hope that between the two you can get an idea of what to do.

Report Painter and use

Hi Experts,
I have requirement wherein I want to use Report Painter to derive output for a company code.I have got 2 Company Codes which are used in Report Painter but I want to do the configuration for the 3rd Company Code as well.
Can someone please guide me what are the prerequisites required to do the same.
I also observed that when a Financial Document is getting posted in SAP system 3 other docs like
Profit Center Doc.
Controlling Doc &
Spl Purpose Ledger Doc is also getting posted.But for my 3rd Co Code No Profit Center Document is getting posted.
Can someone please advice a solution for the same.

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply but can you please advice what exactly do i need to do in Transaction GB02 and GCBA since i checked the settings for both the Co Codes and in 1 CO Code No Ranges defined are as follows and nothing is defined in Second Co Code.

I do not know how but the 1st CO Code has Profit Center Doc generated as 0016897961 which does not fall in the No range defined.
I copied No range from Co Code 1 to Co Code 2 still no Profit Center Doc is generated

Is it possible to split a song and use different chords?

Hi there, I have the following question. I see that I can choose a chord type for the song (eg C Maj or C Min).
However, if I want to change this further in the song it changes for the full song.
How can I include a split in the song in such a way that I can use multiple tone types through the song?
I now do this through transponing up and down but that is probably not the proper way.

The "Transposition Track" will allow you to transpose selected measures to a new key for all tracks and loops in parallel. Add the transposition track from the menu bar: Track > Show Transposition Track.
Then command-click in the track to create contro points and drag the line between the control ppoints up or down to transpose that region of the song.
For example, to transpose a part of a song by a fifth:
Or, if you only want to transpose a part of a rhythm track, transpose selected loops in the track for a chord progression.

Webstart and using different JRE's

I have a few questions about Webstart.
1) When will webstart support JRE version 1.4 ? (at the moment if i create jnlp application and specify the required runtime to be j2se=1.4 I get an error because webstart can't find that JRE on the sun website, even though i already have the 1.4 JRE installed and have configured webstart to use it)
2) Is it possible to tell webstart to use a non Sun JRE ( like an IBM JRE ) ?

Yes, we are using an IBM JRE with Webstart.
Currently we have a jnlp process that runs before our application jnlp process that basically rewrites the javaws.cfg file to configure jws to use only the ibm jre which our application requires.
I am looking into moving that same process within the installer extension of our application. The challenge will be to see if while running our application via jws, reconfigure jws to use the ibm jre and have everything work ok. I don't yet know if this will work.

HT3131 MY macbook pro will only connect to my TV when the lid is open. When I close it to enter clamshell mode my TV gives me a error message saying "resolution mismatch." i have tried switching cables and using different TV's. it works on all my other TV

I can't open 2 or more HD videos at the same time without having a lag or FPS drop. Chrome does this perfectly, I have 8 Gb RAM and use Win 7 64 bit. Firefox 16

I watch youtube or different kinds of livestreams in HD a lot. And the last 2-3 month I'm having a problem watching them in Firefox because I get a terrible lag if I open 2 or more tabs with a video inside. As I am typing this message I've had about 5 terrible freezes (I've opened 2 livestreams in my tabs). Sometimes they just crash and I have to restard the page to go on watching, but most of the time they are lagging like they are lacking FPS and it's unwatchable. I tried cleaning the cash and using different versions of Firefox, I tried the new beta (17) and it's the same. My personal opinion is that Shockwave Flash fault, but I reinstalled it and tried different versions so many times, so I don't know what else to do. I like using Firefox, but I can't do it anymore. I tested the same thing in Chrome and it didn't lag a bit even if I open 10 videos at a time.

When using different profile, I can't get it cleared for security

Due to trouble with Flash, I changed/added a ff profile.
When I then tried to sign in to yahoo, I got screen saying for security purposes I had to verify my ID. I had a choice of several methods, text or voice to cell, email to different email.
I tried both texting my cell and getting email. Both times, I got code. I typed it in and clicked on 'submit'. Nothing happens.
The image remains the same. It looks like I did not click at all. I have repeated this, sometimes clicking 8-9 times. still no change.
In order to reach my yahoo mail, I had to go back to my earlier profile. I may as well change back to old profile and as changing did not solve the problem with flash.
But I would still like to know what is going on/ how to fix it.When I travel and use different computer, I have to do this, verify ID. I want to know how to force the verifcation through.

Had Elements 9 on previous laptop using Win7 but new laptop using Win8 does not load my original disc; as now using Lightroom 5 and only need Layers in 9 so12 not necessary

Sharing an Apple ID is never recommended for these reasons.
They can create their own: http://appleid.apple.com and you can add them at the addresses they use for their ID.
Sharing an Apple ID is not recommended because all of your data gets merged and when it gets deleted from one device, it deletes from them all, such as Contacts.
