Painting Workspace issue

We are using Photoshop CS5 on macbookpros running snow leapard and recently we have noticed an odd issue. When we start up photoshop the Painting workspace tab (on the top where the control panel and application bar are) is momentarily corrupted, scrambled, and pixelated (a bunch of different colored scrambled pixels--looks like a corrupt image). Eventually, a clear painting workspace tab loads but it takes a while. Is this normal?
The other things we noticed is that this only happens when we switch to the painting workspace or when we start photoshop with the painting workspace loaded as the default. It does not happen when the other workspaces (design, photography, etc. are loaded).
We also tried deleting the preferences files and rebuilding them but this did not fix the problem. Just wondering if this is normal thing or if there is some kind of file corruption or something wrong with the program.

AMD Radeon HD 6750M Graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory and
Intel HD Graphics 300 with 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
There is Automatic Graphic Switching between these two
The Software Details:
OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard
Photoshop CS5
After doing research I am not sure if this issue is caused by:
1. upgrading the drivers of the graphics cards
2. upgrading photoshop to the 12.04 update
3. upgrading OSX snow Leopard to 10.6.5
I basically have to do this on multiple computers so I am trying to pinpoint the cause so that I don't cause stress or work delays for others.

Workspace issue in EPM 11.1.2.1

I have an issue in EPM 11.1.2.1 workspace.I have epm 11.1.2.1 windows 2003 server 32 bit,sql server 2005.I have installed HFM,FDQM,ESSBASE AND Planning
While I am registering the HFM application it is throwing error like
Invalid or could not find module configuration
Required application module hfm.appcontainer is not configured. Please contact your administrator.
When accessing Workspace > Navigate > Application > Consolidation, 'Consolidation' is shown with a $ symbol ( $Consolidation). It is possible to acces the HFM application using HFM Desktop Client.
In EPM Diagnostic validation report the following error message appears:
WARNING WSVR: HFM WebServer FINANCIAL_MANAGEMENT_WEB_APP was found in registry under different host.
HFMWebServer startup... failed..
It is urgent please give me a perfect navigation solution.

Hyperion Workspace issue - Scrollbar Missing on Workspace 11.1.2.0.00

Hi EPM Experts,
I am having problems with the Workspaces scrollbars. They are vanishing without no reason.
Only temporary resolution is to restart the services, but it is recurring issue.
Any hints to FIX this issue will be highly appreciated.

Can you see the calculation manager service in services.msc, have you checked the logs under Oracle\Middleware\User_Projects\epmSystem1\dignostics\logs and\services?
I should have tried redeploying CalcManager and checked the configuration logs.

CS3 DW Workspace Issues

I just upgraded from Dreamweaver Studio 8 to CS3. I'm not a
happy camper. I really don't see the advantages to this upgrade and
in fact I've been running into many stability issues.
Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing workspace screen
refresh issues. For example: moving cursor will reveal the
background color, changing a link style sheet does not update the
screen in the workspace, etc. Even doing a screen refresh does not
solve the issues.
I went back to using Dreamweaver 8 and these issues are not
in that version.

Painting Brush Issue

Ok I've been painting an image in Cs4 for some time but I took a break from it for a few weeks and I just came back to it, The issue I'm having is the way my brush presets are acting towards my brushes. I was using a Charcoal Brush which when messing with the presets works similar to a real paint brush in terms of the way the bristles show. This is sort of hard to explain but I'll try. My brush when I was using it, had like a dry brush effect; you could the see individual bristles depending on how much I messed with the brush shape dynamics, it could be thick like a loaded brush or it could be thin like a dry brush whatever. Now though when I try and recreate the brush when I go to the shape dynamics its not acting the way it was before. The brush wont thin out it takes on a splatter effect when I move the scattering slider and size jitter that never happened before and I cant get it to stop. Before the way those sliders would effect the brush is it would spread out the bristles now they just add a splatter on them and I cant change it.
^^^^^ That image is the brush before I mess with the presets. Normally I'd spread out the bristles but when I try I get the effect on the image below.
I know this is a bad explanation but I really cant figure out what I'm doing wrong I've reset the brushes I don't know how many times same with the presets I've messed with the opacity and flow but nothing is working. I wonder is there anyone who has an Idea of how I can possibly fix this? It's a problem because I need that effect from the brush in order to match the rest of the painting, Any help or advice would be appreciated, and again sorry for the bad explanation.

Yea I've tried both Size Jitter adds a splatter on it so I already have it at 0 and Pen Pressure just rounds out the edges which I don't mind but neither really have to do with the effect from before. I've tried to mimic the way I had the brush before going in and erasing some. The way it's working now is the top stroke and the way I had it is the bottom. Before the strokes where more spaced out, result of messing with the presets now if I mess with the they add a splatter to them.

CS6 Workspace Issue

I recently installed CS6 on my PC. (I had been using CS5 and it still has CS5 installed as well.) The issue is that every time I open or start a project, my customized workspace is messed up. All the panels just cluster on top of each other in the middle of the screen. I have to rearrange the entire workspace and resave it. This happens every time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Meeting workspace issues

I have created a meeting workspace from a recurring calendar event in Sharepoint 2013. Everything seems to be working; however, when I enter the workspace and try to click on a different date in the left navigation, I get a "404 not found" and
that's it.
When I navigate to each individual date directly from its event on the calendar, everything works fine, but when I try to navigate between dates the issue occurs.
I've realized that this problem stems from an incorrect URL - when I click on a different date, the word "undefined" appears in the URL, rather than "default". If you change the words, the link works correctly.
Why could I be getting this error, and how can I resolve it? Thank you very much!

Open the meeting workspace in SharePoint Designer, click on “Master Pages” and open the custom master page (MWSDefault..). Click on “Edit File” and look for the following “Meetings” tag prefix. If it’s not there, add the following line:
<%@ Register Tagprefix="Meetings" Namespace="Microsoft.SharePoint.Meetings" Assembly="Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c" %>
Also add the following line directly after the the opening <body> tag:

Save the master page and try again.

Report Painter Performance Issue

Helloo experts,
I have a report painter report which is pulling the data from a custom table (which has 32million records). Its taking a lot of time .
Is there any method to improve its performance ?

Please check report painter selecting records using primary key or secondary index. If not please create secondary index for custom table (after consultation with basis, due to creating the secondary index will increase the load on server of custom table with 32 millions records)
If not possible. extract the resultset from custom table into another table and make query for report painter on that. and update the new table on daily basis or hourly basis.

Report painter currency issue

Hello experts
Situation is like this:
The customer has 3 different company codes which all use different currencies as local currency. They use only one controlling area (Euro).
100=EURO
200=DKK
300=SEK
The report painter report is for their administrative costs. what has gone wrong if i run the report for example all cost centers in company code 200 and cant see the total sum in DKK. I assume that the problem is because there are postings in different currencies.
Could someone tell me how to create a report which shows the total sum clearly in DKK even if there are postings in different currencies. I know that there is S_ALR_87005721 transaction where you can change the currency settings but no success. Plese tell me how to change the formula + any other comments warmly welcome. The postings included in report should be automatically translated to DKK on their posting day currency. There is a challenge for someone.
At the moment i have only one characteristic in Total definition (GRR2):

Your approach is correct, if you wish to display the data in another currency
then as you have described you will need to make a copy of the reports / forms (for
example create a custom form based on the current one) using transactions CJE1
and CJE4 then modify these custom forms by adding new columns for the value in
object currency and by deactivating the columns which refer to the values in controlling
area currency. You can create your own transaction codes for calling these custom
reports (based on the modified forms).
Regarding displaying the values in object currency SAP Note 1925431 provides further
information on this.

Report Painter form issue

I have changed the form layout in KE85 for one of our report painter report. I have transported the changes to quality. The form changes are appearing as per Development but the screenlayout is not changed.
Is there anything else I should do like import, or generate the report etc. If so kindly let me know the details.

Thank you very much for your valuable input. But my report does not have report group. It is a report created by using a form in KE84. This form is attached to a t_code and the same transported to quality. In quality the form changes are appearing in the form. Whereas when I execute the form changes are not called.
This is what confusing me a lot. Can you please guide me on this.

I would like to create a program, which contains the same data, what I can get from a report, which is made by report painter in transaction GRR2. The given report is for checking the service orders.
This report has a key (order number) and additional columns, like material cost, personal cost, external service cost, money income, etc...
I found the COSP table, which can be very useful. Unfortunately COSP table contains only the costart (KSTAR) and I don't know, which costarts can be attached to the material costs, which costarts to the services, which costarts belong to the money income, etc...
Could you please tell me, where can I find this assignment?

I have Reporting and Analysis admin privileges in EPM 11.1.2, but I still cannot see a "Physical Resources" menu item in Workspace. I am looking under Navigate->Administer->Reporting_and_Analysis. I am looking for Physical Resources in order to create an output directory for sending FR PDF documents to.. I have already posted this in Hyperion Query and Reporting forum, but no response yet there.

If it has never worked then :-
Run the configurator again, select foundation > workspace > configure web server
Restart the workspace / financial reporting services.

Planning application opening in workspace-issue

I am facing problem in workspace when I login to workspace and try to open a planning application. The application is opening, but one pop-up window is coming 'Opening Planning Application' and it is opening for ever.
Could you suggest any solution for the same. We are using Hyperion Planning ver 9.3.1 and IE ver 6.0.2900.

Did you ever find out what was causing for this? We're having a simlar problem in System 11.1.1.2, that's hapening to about a dozen users over the last few monthis. We can usually fix it when it happens by zapping the last form for the user, or by signing them onto Planning directly, bypassing workspace, but we haven't been able to determine what caused the problem in the first case so we can prevent it.
