Pairing bluetooth Bose soundlink mini

I have a HP Pavilion g6 and want to pair it with a Bose Soundlink Mini bluetooth speaker - it doesn't work.  Any help would be appreciated.  Very frustrating.   It paired with my iPad and iPhone easily.

After a whole day of searching and digging I have found the solution.
Uninstall the old driver (remove the driver) and install the driver from the link:

It takes a bit to install, but after that it works perfectly!
Peace out!

  • Itunes is not playing (or freezing) when I turn on my Bluetooth speaker (Bose Soundlink Mini)

itunes is not playing (or freezing) when I turn on my Bluetooth speaker (Bose Soundlink Mini)
Every time I turn on the speaker, itunes freezes up and never star playing the only way it might work is restarting the computer. I own a macbook pro retina display 15" late 2013, i've run it for malware,  viruses, verified the disk and everything seems normal, so i'm guessing the problem is with itunes.
I need some help with this issue.
    Thanks
    Hector

Works if I turn off the Mac bluetooth (top of the screen - click on the Bluetooth icon to turn off / on) and then turn it back on.  After that I can connect and play.

  • Trouble pairing Mac 10.8.5 with BOSE Soundlink Mini

I have trouble paring my iMac 10.8.5 with BOSE SoundLink Mini

Same problem here. My Bose Soundlink Mini worked fine with Snow Leoprd, but Mavericks can't find it at all. I had thought my upgrade to Mavericks yesterday had shown the robustness of the new OS, but apparently not.
Is there a fix for this?

  • Z30 won't work with Bose SoundLink Mini

Does anyone have a problem playing music to the Bose SoundLink Mini via bluetooth? This is the first time I try pairing my Z30 to the Bose speaker using bluetooth. It says the Bose speaker is connected however I cannot hear any music coming out of the speaker. All I hear is this short pulsing sounds. I'm able to pair my iPhone and play the music fine. I'm wondering if this is a blackberry bluetooth issue?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I used it with Z10 and now use it with my Passport. Also use it with PlayBook.
Given the speaker works with another device, I agree the problem is with the Z30 and not the speaker.
Have you checked for any other audio problems? Strictly a problem over bluetooth?
    Have you rebooted and tested?
Have you tried a soft reset and tested?
Have you deleted the pairing, re-paired, and tested?

  • Apple TV and Bose soundlink mini

    Hi,
I have an Apple TV (3) and a Bose Soundlink mini.
My question is if it is possible to get the picture from iTunes to the TV (while streaming a movie) but the sound to the soundlink?
    Thankful for answers.

The soundlink mini is a bluetooth speaker. Apple TV requires an airplay capable speaker, like the Soundlink Air.
Also, you can't airplay audio and video separately.

  • Skipping problem with Bose Soundlink Mini

I have an iPod touch 5 and have recently bought a Bose Soundlink Mini. I had no problems setting it up but am finding it virtually unusable due to the constant skipping. Can anyone help?

    - Reset the Bose unit
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will also have to rejoin all wifi networks

  • IOS X 10.10.2 Bluetooth Bose Soundlink recognition issue

    Hi All
My Macbook cannot 'see' my Bose Soundlink when I try to pair it.  It recognises my newer Bose SLIII just fine and I can connect to that.  My iPad and iPhone all connect to the older Soundlink so why not the Mac?
Also, when I go in to Bluetooth preferences there is no "Add new device" button or functionality as described in many of the posts all I get is this below... is this right?
I running iOS 10.10.2 on my Macbook Air.
    Many thanks

Might be corrupted Bluetooth preferences ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac then re, "pair" your Bluetooth devices.

  • Bose SoundLink Mini Speaker is refusing to pair with Windows 8.1 x64.‏

I tried to connect my Bluetooth speaker to my HP Probook 4530s and got no farther than “Bose Mini Soundlink Ready to Pair”.But, when I click on the “Pair” button, it takes about a minute or so to display this message:
“That didn't work. Try again and make sure your entertainment device is still discoverable.”
    OS - Windows 8.1 x64.
I tried to update the Bose_BLUETOOTH_Speaker_UpdateBut it does not go beyond the screen which says..."The update process will proceed automatically once the device is detected"
It pairs and connect successfully with my Samsung N5100 & GT-S6102.
It seems the  Bluetooth hardware being used does not have the right driver support for the A2DP profile.
Your advice on the above is highly appreciated.
    Thank you.

Finding solutions here seems to be a very rare occurance.

  • I can't pair the Bose SoundLink speaker

Last night the SoundLink speaker worked fine from my iPad2; today: nothing. I tried depressing the mute button on the speaker until all 3 LEDs came on. I tried pressing the Bluetooth button until the speaker beeped indicating that settings were cleared. I downloaded the current Bose driver. I updated the iPad iOS to 7.0.2. I tried pushing and depressing buttons again. I deleted the SoundLink from the list of Bluetooth devices. I deleted the other device in the list. I pushed and depressed more buttons. Nothing.
This is very frustrating as the standard fixes don't seem to work. Are there any other suggestions?

  • Problem with iTunes and Bose SoundLink Mini

    Hello everyone,
After upgrading to Yosemite (10.10) I'm dealing with an annoying problem when using my bluetooth speaker with the macbook pro.
Whenever I disconnect the speaker (by pressing its power button) or when it disconnects by itself (when it stays unused for a longer period), the sound gets back to the internal speakers like normal but in that moment iTunes (12.0.1.26) starts playing randomly, no matter if its opened or closed.
    The problem continues despite:
    - macbook restart;
    - removing the speaker from bluetooth devices and reconnecting it from scratch;
    - turning off IR connection from system preferences;
This wasn't the case for previous OS versions.
Can anyone help me with this?
    Thank you
    Cristian

okay katrina, i installed quicktime standalone, but i still the vanishing license message, i checked my task manager, i see qttask.exe, however, i do not see itunes.exe, i only see ipodservice.exe and itunesservice.exe thus, if you can tell me how to install itunes by itself, i think you will solve all my troubles, please respond asap

Not a generic issue ,my iPhone 5S works with Sounddock 10, soundlink and soundlink mini all perfect
Check to see if you have too many paired devices on Bose and sometimes you can only pair with one device at a time
