Pairing bluetooth with Oticon streamer

I have a work laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad T400, Windows XP Prof) and have been following the steps for pairing the laptop with my oticon over the ear bluetooth hearing aid with bluetooth streamer device (firmware 1.3). I followed the directions as stated, but still am getting audio from the laptop speakers instead of through the streamer (example playing music through Itunes gui).
1) Bluetooth icon has green center
2) Control Panel/Sounds and Audio/Audio has sound playback of Bluetooth Hands-free Audio
3) Right click bluetooth icon/Explore my bluetooth places has Streamer 1.3 Hands-Free Unit Icon as green and status of connected and 2nd icon Streamer 1.3 stero audio as gray and not connected status.
Question
For #2, if I select Advanced button, the speaker setup is Laptop stereo speakers, I guess I can select Stereo headphones... but should I.
For #3, should both be green instead of 1.

Try looking for a playback device setting in iTunes.

I downloaded it today. Doesn't seem to work. It gives you to the option of playing from "Logic Pro" or "Logic Express". When I click "SET" to set the project to fire, all of my logic files are grayed (assuming that means they are not an option)... Waste of 20 bucks.

Ipod touch does not pair with Oticon streamer

After upgrading the firmware of my Oticon EPOQ streamer to v1.4, the ipod touch did pair with the streamer the 1st night, but read the paired device as Streamer 1.3. The next day, when trying the ipod, it did read that version anymore in bluetooth search. It now reads Streamer 1.4.
However, when setting the streamer to pairing mode, the password panel came up on ipod (so it did start pairing) and I entered the password and the pair button... now I keep getting the Connection Unsuccessful error message, Make sure 'Streamer 1.4' is turned on and in range. Not only that the Streamer 1.4 device still shows in bluetooth menu as Not Connected (not as Not Paired).
It seems to be a combined issue between Oticon and Apple, now how can I fix it?

Some docks are not compatible with iOS 5. Ceeck with the manufacturer. Other users have post problems with iOS 5 and iHome docks too.

Cannot pair Bluetooth with 2008 BMW - 'Uncaught exception: java.lang.Classcast Exception' message

I have been trying to pair my 8100 with my new 2008 model BMW 135i built in car kit using Bluetooth set up. The phone finds the car kit and the two appear to pair (confirmation numbers entered etc) but then the Smartphone screen freezes and the following error message appears 'Uncaught exception: java.lang.Classcast Exception'. The phone cannot then receive or make calls (won't even turn off until battery removed). Have been through the whole process several times. The car will pair with other phones and my 8100 will pair OK with other devices. Can anyone help?

I have got aorund the problem by disabling address book transfer. I can now receive calls and make outgoing calls by either dialling on the blackberry itself or using the BMW idrive controller. It is better than nothing and my main use anyway is for incoming calls while driving. The whole idea of the integrated system was to be able to scroll through the address book on the steering wheel buttons and view the address book entries on the satnav screen.
I have had similar problems in the past with an integrated system in a Porsche. The Blackberry never establised bluetooth contact with that system at all.

As Allan says, this has never been a feature of the iphone.
It supports bluetooth for handsfree tele[hone devices, stereo headsets/speakers, some keyboards, some peer-to-peer apps from the app store, and internet tethering if provided by the carrier.
Other than this, it will not connect to other phones or computers.

Cannot pair bluetooth with iPhone

Hi!
I am trying to pair my Macbook Pro (10.6.4) with my iPhone (3GS, iOS4.0.2) via bluetooth in order to get internet tethering to work.
When I initiate the pairing from the Macbook, the "Bluetooth Setup Assistant" finds my iPhone, attempts to pair and shows me in big numbers the code. On the iPhone, an alert pops up to confirm that "...woult like to pair with your iPhone" and to confirm the passkey is the right one.
I now press "Pair" on the iPhone, and a few seconds later an alert pops up, saying "Could not pair with ..."
I can pair different devices to my Macbook (keyboard, mouse,...) and also the iPhone pairs without problems with a company Dell laptop, just Apple with Apple seems not to work.
Rebooted both Mac and iPhone, no success. And, no, the iPhone is not jailbroken.
Does anyone have any idea how to get this to work? Thanks lot!!

Pairing Bluetooth with Cellnet Pilot mini

I had been using my Pilot mini with my previous phone - Nokia 6500 with no problems. I am now not able to get my iPhone to pick up the device at all - I click the button on the Pilot to send out a signal etc, but the iPhone continue to show as searching. Any suggestions, as I would like to be able to use it in my car safely

I just called Bose regarding this problem for my Bose Bluetooth headset. (I know you're initial question is mini sound link, but sometimes the designs are cross-functional.) You just need to reset it. For the headset:
1. Turn it off.
2. Hold both the "-- volume" button AND "phone" button at the same time until the Bluetooth light changes blinking frequency.
3. On iPhone, go to "Settings", then "Bluetooth" and turn on Bluetooth by clicking so circle turns green.
4. In a second, the Bose headset should appear under "Devices" with "Not Connected" on the right.
5. Click on "Not Connected".
6. Once the headset has been paired, the "Not Connected" will change to "Connected".
7. Voila.

When i first got my iPhone 5S I tried to pair Bluetooth with my iPad 3 it took so long and I came to press the Ignore this device button which I now truly regret as the iPhone now no longer can find the iPad. How to get it back please ?

The only reason you use bluetooth between iPad/iPhone its to share the internet from iPhone to wifi only iPad.
In order to see the bluetooth connection, you must first enable the Personal Hotspot on the iPhone.
Then on the iPhone, open Setting s> Bluetooth.
Then open the Bluetooth on the iPad adn pair teh devices.

Having trouble pairing Bluetooth with Chevy Mylink

Since iOS 8 and 8.02 I have lost most of my functionality with Mylink in my Chevy Camaro. I even loaded iOs 8.1 last night. Still no functionality. So I removed the device from MyLink and told my iPhone to forget this connection. Now it won't pair back MyLink at all. Is anyone else having this issue...?

Did you ever find help for this issue? I purchased a 2014 Silverado with 4.3 screen MyLink installed. Everything worked fine for 4 months until I updated to IOS 8.1.3. now I've lost Voice Command and not wanting to reconnect to MyLink. Took it to dealership and they reinstalled latest MyLink software still not working. None of my 3 iPhones 5 and 5s, Ipad or Ipod work correctly anymore since the latest Apple Updates. Getting really tired of Apple Updates that don't work. Going to switch to Andriods and Aftermarket Audio Units. It's Apple Updates and they will not accept responsiblity that their programmers are not fixing the issues with their software or they wouldn't have to come out with so many Updates.

Mobile LG Secret KF750 wont pair Bluetooth my iMac

Trying to get my new Lg Secret Mobile Phone to pair Bluetooth with my Alu iMac.
It goes through the process, finds it ok, then when the pass key screen comes up just keep getting error of cant connect.
Ive got visibility/discoverable on, tried restating both iMac and Mobile but no good.
Any ideas? I want to use it for sending pics from the phone, as I used to with my SE K810i, which worked fine.

I am having a similar issue, with KF750 and iBook G4.
Although I managed to pair both (you have to start the pairing process from the phone), the file transfer works only one-way, e.i. I can transfer files from the mac to the phone, but not viceversa. When trying to send something from the phone, I get a no connection error.
As for "Browse device" I get a "Bad request" error, also.
I still haven't managed to get pictures or files from the phone so far, only sending mp3 or other files to it.
Any other having this connectivity issue?
BTW, is your phone branded by some operator?

IPhone 5S, bluetooth will not pair up with my Oticon Streamer 1.4 device

My Oticon Streamer is a bluetooth connection device to my hearing aids. I know it's working because my desk phone rings thru the Oticon to my hearing aids. Works fine.
I've been trying to pair up the iPhone 5S and the Oticon. Briefly, the phone recognizes the Oticon, ask for the password (which is 0000), get a message to make sure the Oticon is turned on (it is), and cannot pair. Any ideas?

IPad mini retina won't bluetooth pair - even with Apple products!

my brand new ipad mini retina 128 doesn't bluetooth pair - even with an apple chicklet keyboard (or other keyboards or even with my iphone 5s)!!!!

Also, iOS devices will not pair with any other iPhone or iPad as you have found out. They are designed to be paired with bluetooth keyboards, stereos, headsets and, for thethering only, phones and computers.
