Pairing iphone 4 with 2009 honda odyssey

Went through the proper techniques for the car trying to pair the phone and it can't find the phone. It worked with my old Razor. So what's different with the iphone. Does anyone know if there different way than the car's way to pair the iphone for a honda odyssey.
Thanks in advance.

just a longshot here but im guessing that there is nothing wrong with the headset and everything wrong with the bluetooth stack on the iPhone 4 there has been nothing but complaints about all kinds of different bluetooth devices not working properly in cars on headsets on everything its just kind of hit or miss on whats going to work and whats not going to work at this point im sure if you took that headset and tried to pair it with a 3gs it would work perfectly fine and not have any problems. Thats my opinion
as if you want to test out the headset you can try it on another phone if you have one or try it out on a friends phone if they would be nice enough to let you do it but I highly doubt there is anything wrong with the headset

  • Problem using Iphone 3G with 2009 Honda Fit

Have a 2009 Honda Fit Sport (without Nav). Iphone interface worked fine until updated to 3.0. Now, I can't choose albums or songs...just playlists. It will also no longer let me access my podcasts. Was not fixed when updated to 3.1. Any suggestions other than reverting back to an older OS?

After almost 1 week of sheer frustrations, I have been unable to connect my Iphone 3G to my exchange server at work.
I have tried probably every method discussed here, including restoring my iphone 3G several times. My issue has been elevated all the way up to apple engineering, and still no solution.
It appears that the issue is that I cannot connect because my company is using Exchange server 2003 with SP1.
I can connect any Windows Smartphone or Pocket PC and it will sync in what seems seconds….very fast. I have used windows phones connected to our server for more than 4 years, never an issue.
My company has the attitude of we “We don’t want you to connect, you are lucky to be able to use active sync on windows phones!!” So their change is not probable.
Has anyone found a way to connect Iphone 3G to an Exchange Server 2003, SP1?

Not possibleto make direct connectionother than as personal hotspot
when so configured/supported by your wireless provider. What are you trying to do?
Connect one device with computer and put the information you wish to
share into iTunes; connect the second device to iTunes and choose
    what you wish to sync.

  • HT204387 Cannot pair iPhone 5 with Toyota Camry Bluetooth

I cannot pair iPhone 5 with Toyota Camry Bluetooth. Never had a problem with android

Two things that you need to verify first
    1. The first step in troubleshooting any accessory is to determine whether the accessory is compatible with the device. Contact your automotive manufacturer or the manufacturer of your aftermarket head unit to see if your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch model is compatible.
    2. Verify that both your car kit and your iOS device are running the latest software versions. To verify that your car kit is up to date, please contact your automotive manufacturer or the manufacturer of your aftermarket head unit.

  • Pair iphone 5 with jabra BTE2

how to pair IPHONE 5 with JABRA BTE2 tried a lot
but IPHONE4 is CONNECTED with the JABRA BTE2

    No, they will not interfere.
I pair my phone with my car, multiple bluetooth headsets, bluetooth speakers, a Wahoo Blue SC speed and cadence sensor, and a Scochse bluetooth heart rate monitor regularly without any issues.
Granted I never have more then two at a time paired.
Having a fuelband will have not affect on the other devices as it uses a seperate profile.

  • Can't pair iPhone 5 with Mac mini or iPad

When I try to pair my iPhone 5 with my Mac mini (current model), I'm able to go through all the steps and the Mac shows the iPhone is connected for about 1-2 secs and then drops the connection.  I'm trying to pair them so I can use the TokenLock app to automatically lock my Mac when I walk away from it.
I have the exact same issue when trying to tether my iPad to my iPhone via bluetooth to connect my iPad to the internet.  A connection is established for only a couple seconds.  I'm able to tether via wi-fi though.
    What am I doing wrong?

  • Pairing iPhone 4 with Jabra BT3030

Does anyone else use a Jabra BT3030 that has been paired successfully to the iPhone 4?  I was always able to do it with my previous Verizon phone (Samsung Omnia) but when I try to pair it to the new iPhone 4, I can't get to the screen where the passkey (0000) is entered.  The phone recognizes the device and says it is not paired, but then it goes straight to connected status without letting me open the passkey screen.   Once it's connected, the only option is "Forget this Device", (which I would rather not since I like it).  Even though it shows connected, the phone and Jabra don't communicate.  I've followed the steps shown on the Jabra website and the iPhone manual, but to no avail.

    Hello,
Thank you for providing the bluetooth accessory that you are trying to pair to your device.  Below are the instructions on how to pair specifically to your iPhone.  The security code can either be 0000 or 1234.
Step 1 - Enable Bluetooth functionality on the iPhone 4
From the Home screen, select Settings.
    Select General
    Select Bluetooth
    Set Bluetooth to On
Step 2 - Put your fully charged Bluetooth headset into pairing mode.
Press and hold the answer/end button to turn on the headset
Your headset will automatically go into pairing mode when you turn on for the first time
Your Bluetooth accessory is now in pairing mode and ready to be paired with your handset
    Manual Paring
Press and hold the answer/end button for 5 seconds until the keypad turns solid blue
Your Bluetooth accessory is now in pairing mode and ready to be paired with your handset
Step 3 - Pair the iPhone 4 with a Bluetooth Accessory
With Bluetooth power on, from the Home screen, select Settings.
    Select General
    Select Bluetooth
Place accessory in pairing mode. See accessory pairing instructions
Choose the accessory device on iPhone, and enter its passkey or PIN number, normally 0000 or 1234

  • Pairing iphone 5 with plantronics M165

I have been using the Plantronics M165 earset with my iPhone 4 (OS 6.12), paired via bluetooth. I disconnected the M165 earset from iPhone 4 and  I tried to connect it with my iPhone 5 (using the same procedure that I used when I was connecting it with iphone 4). But when I turn ON bluetooth from my iPhone 5 (OS 6.12), it does not discover the M165 earset. It keeps on searching....but it finds nothing. Though the two iphones (4 & 5) use the same OS, I cannot also pair my two iphones to each other via bluetooth. Now I cannot even pair M165 back with my iphone 4 I need help......
    Txs

I've got the same problem but I found the following solution, by pairing again the two dispos.
as far as the plantronics M165:
Turn on your device’s Bluetooth feature.
    Turn the headset on.
Press and hold the call control button for about 5-6 seconds until the light on the headset starts flashing red-white. Release the button and set the headset aside.
On your cell phone, go to the Bluetooth menu and search for (or add) a device. The cell phone should find the headset. It will appear as "PLT_M155" or "PLT_M165" in your list of devices.
If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros). Note: Many phones do not prompt for a passkey.
hope will work for you as well.

  • Can't pair iPhone 5 with 2005 Acura TL or 2009 Lexus RX350 after IOS 7 upgrade!

Ever since I upgraded to IOS7, I have not been able to connect my iPhone 5 to the bluetooth in my car (2005 Acura TL). I tried to delete the pairing and re-pair, but the phone can no longer find the bluetooth device! I also tried to pair to my wife's car (2009 Lexus RX350), but that won't work either!! Just to note, bluetooth worked fine before with IOS6. My wife's phone (4S IOS6) also connects fine to the Lexus. I have an iPhone 5S on order for her, but I might just return it and switch my whole family to Android for good!
Please fix this issue ASAP. This is a major issue as people rely on bluetooth for safety while driving.
Details: I tried both patches (7.01 & 7.02) and neither one resolved the issue. My phone is currently on 7.0.2 (11A501).

I'm having the very same problem with my 2005 Acura TL. Ever since the last iOS update.

  • Pairing Iphone 3G with Imac?

How would you go about pairing an Iphone 3G to a Imac ? Also what is (PAN)? In what way would a Iphone be able to interact with the Mac ?

I was messing around with this, curious as well.
I could get my 3g to pair with my mini but not actually connect to do anything.
The thing I would like to be able to figure out is to use the iphone remote app to control the itunes on my mini and stream back through bluetooth to my iphone!
It seems like it should be possible, among other things but I just cant figure it out....

  • HT204387 Has anyone found a solution to bluetooth pairing iPhone 6 with Toyota Camry volume settings?

When using the iPhone 5 and pairing with 2013 Toyota Camry, the bluetooth settings are normal.
When changing to an IPhone 6, there is a problem.
When the phone goes to bluetooth in the car, the volume setting is triggered to increase to top volume of 60.
When we change the setting via directions of Toyota to change the phone volume, the volume goes down but is not reset.
When the phone is paired upon entering the car, the volume goes right back to 60.
Toyota states they have not tested the new phone yet and do not have any solutions.
    Help?

  • Pairing iPhone 3GS with iPad 2

I thank all of you for the post related to Iphone and Ipad tethering.
But, I'm wondering why the iPhone cannot be paired with the iPad using Bluetooth without turning on the Personal Hotspot? If this is possible, please, help me doing it, if not Apple should think about that ASAP.

Bluetooth on the iPad is aimed at devices such as headphones and keyboards

  • Can't pair iPhone 5s with Macbook Pro via Bluetooth

I have an iPhone 5s and Macbook Pro with retina display (running on iOS 8.0.2 and Yosemite respectively). For some reason, my iPhone can never see my MBPr but the MBPr can see the iPhone. Pressing the "Pair" button on in the Bluetooth setting panel in OS X will trigger the pairing confirmation to show up on my iPhone. After confirming the pair request, the devices remain connected for no more than 2 seconds. Then they just disconnect. (The status is "Not connected" underneath my iPhone on the Devices list in OS X)
This has been bugging me for a while, even before I upgraded to iOS 8 and Yosemite. I was hoping the upgrade will solve the issue but apparently not. My iPad  on the other hand has no problem in connecting and remaining connected to my MBPr. That's just baffling.
Just some context: the reason why I wanted to connect my MBPr and my iPhone via Bluetooth is because I want to use my my iPhone as the hotspot. Yes, I can use the USB cable, but can't blame me for trying the wireless route (And no, connecting via wifi doesn't  work)
    Any help is appreciated!

  • Pairing iPhone 3 with Samsung HKT450 Bluetooth Car Kit

I just bought a Samsung HKT450 Bluetooth Car Kit from New Egg. The device goes into pairing mode, but my iPhone 3, when I set it to search, it searches then goes back to off not showing the device to pair. I can repeat this everytime while the device is in pair mode. What am I doing wrong?

I tried that. My wife has two bluetooth earpieces, a Motorola and Jabra. Neither paired. The funny thing is the Samsung device paired with both of her Blackberrys. Go figure!
