Pairing problems between my new nokia n82 and blue...

I tried pairing up my n82 and bh-208 last night, but couldn't get it to work. The n82 recognised other bluetooth devices. My bluetooth was definitely working, as I had used it earlier with another mobile fone. I've followed all the instructions and paired other bluetooth headsets before, but no luck this time, even after trying several times. Any suggestions?

i had same problem, i just kept chimping about until it finally gave in and connected. no idea what happened, possibly that you can connect TO the phone, but it won't connect TO OTHERS, but y, that is the question. come on NokNok....what's the fix?

The 2011 MBPs do not have a DisplayPort. They have a combination Thunderbolt and Mini Displayport. The adapter for standard Displayport and Thuderbolt/Mini Displayport are different. So you need a new adapter.

The hard drive in the MacBook Air is not meant to be user replaceable. Further, the OS installed on your MacBook would likely not run the MacBook Air.
A better solution might be to use the Migration Assistant to move your data to the new computer. This comes up when you are setting up the new computer for the first time.

How did you import from iPhoto? If you saw the Import panel with raw -jpeg pairs, then you probably did not import your iPhoto library as library, but as files, and then you will see plenty of duplicates - previews, thumbnails, originls, edited versions. If that should be the case, it would be better to delete the import from iPhoto and to import your iPhoto library again, but this time using "File > Import > Library".
Only that would require compatible versions of iPhoto and Aperture. What are your Aperture and iPhoto version numbers?

Nokia N82 and Microsoft certificate install

I got my N82 after using Windows Mobile for over 6 years I decided to get a phone that does email not the otherway round. I install MfE or Mail for Exchange and started sync'ng and was told to install a certificate. After spending the best part of a week trying to get the certificate installed I am stuck. The best resource I have found online so far is http://www.redelijkheid.com/symcaimport/ which allows you to upload a .cer file and then download it to your file. All the other sites talk about modify web sites and playing with the MIME, etc. That just disable the Exchange Sync default website since you need to overwrite the SSL port. Cannot use OpenSSL is I run Windows XP not linux. I see a N95 user had the same problem. If you copy the cer file, even if it is renamed it does not open on the phone if you export a .p12 it wants you to enter a "new key store password". I know with my last phone an imate I had to get a certificate install package, is there any such thing.
Anyone out there got any ideas or pointers

Might not help a great deal but you can use OpenSSL on Windows, but you'll need to compile it. How you do that, I haven't got a clue as I normally use Linux for that kind of thing my self.

New Nokia 3120 and memory card

Hi there.
Yasterday I upgraded my old motorola to a brand new Nokia 3120.
In my Motorola I used the "Sandisk 1GB microSD" memory card, so I tried to put it now in my new Nokia.
I followed the instructions and put it in sucessfuly (I think), but I have no idea how I define the memory card to be the
phone's main memory source.
I tried to change the camera output folder to "Memory card" but it kept changing it back to "Phone memory".
Does anyone knows what's going on here?

Thats fine it works on your friend's moto after inserting that same card onto your nokia device are you able to access the content in it , are you able to install applications onto that card or you are facing the problem only when using the camera application which is reluctant to save your photos onto memory card one more thing you have to find out is the device capable of storing photos on memory card from camera application(check in the user guide)

Problem with WLAN in Nokia N82

I can't set correct key in settings for WLAN connect.
Access Point use Pre-Shared Key Format: Hex (64 characters)
Phone allow to input only 63 characters.
Model of Phone Nokia N82.

Hi,
It appears that Nokia haven’t implemented the standard fully. According to our router the Pre-Shared Key Format should be either 8-63 characters OR 64 Hex digits.
See the section on “Security in pre-shared key mode”

But the N82 is only accepting the 8-63 character setting not the Hex option.

In order to add a domain to your site, please refer to the following document for instructions: http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/going-live-guide.html. To summarize, once the site is live, simply add your domain to your site via the admin console > Site Settings > Site Domains > New Domain. At your registrar where you purchased the domain, you will need to update the nameservers to the ones listed in the article I've just provided.
In regards to using Business Catalyst for hosting email, you will need to upgrade to the webBasics+ plan. To do this, within the admin console navigate to Site Settings > Site Management, and the ability to upgrade will be present. Once your site has been upgraded to this plan, you will be able to add email accounts via Site Settings > Email Accounts.

Nokia E71 and Blueant Z9I bt handsfree

Does anybody have experience with the combination of E71 and Blueant Z9i? I am experiencing problems with voice dialling and also with connection stability. It sometimes disconnect during calls.
I updated the handfree firmware but this did not help.

it is truly disgraceful that every new model that i have bought from nokia has had the same bluetooth issues. the phone will connect and work fine for a time then the connection fails and reconnects every few seconds. it has happened with every version of n95 i have owned, the n82, n78, e71, etc. i know it is not the headset as it works with other makes of phones and it will work with my nokias after a firmware update. what a joke

New MacBook Pros and Blu-Ray?

I am considering get one of the new MBPs. Does anyone know if they play Blu-ray DVDs?

There's no such thing as a Blu-Ray DVD.
MBPs will play DVDs, but not Blu-Ray Discs (at least not using the built in drive). That may change in the future, but Steve Jobs is on the record saying:

Problem with my new 512 MMC and nokia 6630

Hi, i bought a new Sandisk 512 MB MMCMobile ( so its dual voltage) but it seems that is not working right.
I can write in it but the most times i cant read the photos i wrote.
I went to the store and changed it but the new one seems to have the same problem.
The strange thing is that with my old 128 mb all works fine.
The cards are sandisk dual MMCMobile and i have the latest firmware.
Anyone knows why is this happening.

Where did you purchase this device? Was it brand new? Is the time and date set correctly?

I recommend trying to update the phone via the PC. By downloading and running the Nokia software updater application this should apply the latest version. You can download device updater from the below link:
