PAL-M - How to do this?
Help!
I ahve just found out that Brazil uses a standard called PAL-M.
This is supposed to be the same frame rate & Scan lines as NTSC but with a different colour carrier.
What is the best way to create a DVD that will work properly please?
Apparently, standard NTSC will play in monochrome, which is unacceptable, and normal PAL just doesn't work.
What are my options, please?
I know nothing.

"Pay Pal is not supported on this device"
I have updated my iTunes account and my Pay Pal account information but am still getting "Pay Pal is not supported on this device" message on my iPhone. Anyone else? How do I fix this?
I had this same problem also. The problem has to do with your credit card number associated with you iCloud account. To solve this problem, you need to update your credit card/payment information by doing the following on your iPad / iPhone / iTouch:
Settings > iCloud > click on your account > Payment Information
Update this section with your correct credit card information and Save. -
I want to make a grid. Apple said Pages will do the job. I need to change the grid to 1 in. x 1 1/2 in. squares. What tutorial can I use to show me how to do this?
A calendar is not difficult nor does it take long once you know where the dates fall.
Start with a basic month template table.
1. Click on the table icon on the Toolbar to create a basic table for one month
2. Click on the resultant table > Inspector > Table > Headers & Footers > 2nd button > 1
3. Inspector > Table > Body Rows: 6 > Body Columns: 7
4. Inspector > Metrics > Size > Width: 7 cm/in > Height: 7 cm/in
You can drag resize the whole month to your liking afterwards
5. Select the entire header row > Inspector > Table > Edit Rows & Columns > Merge Cells > Type in a month
6. Type Mon in first cell & Tue in 2nd cell of of 2nd row > Select both cells and drag the white dot in the bottom right corner sideways to fill the cells with the days
7. Do the same with the dates in the cells below
8. You can fill the spare dates at the beginning and end of the month if you like and maybe change them to a paler grey.
9. Style and position the text as you like it.
10. If you don't want to see the grid or want different strokes, colors etc:
Inspector > Table > Cell Borders/Cell Backgrounds etc
When you have the first month looking the way you want, option drag out copies sideways to make the rest of the months.

NTSC DVD material: Client wants PAL version, how?
Client now wants to know if the NTSC DVD we just did can be made into a PAL version using the same assets...I don't think so, correct? So what is best to do with this scenario - NTSC DVCPRO HD 720p60 material (and one HDV 1440x1080i seq) in my many FCP timelines. Do I just change every seq to PAL? How? Then use Compressor to make PAL mpeg 2's for DVD SP 4?
What's best workflow, or thing to do?

Kmany PAL DVD payer and TV combinations are not able to play NTSC discs
and if they do the video picture area is aways smaller and always reduced in picture resolution.
When I recieve a DVD I expect it to play properly in full resolution and quality and not to rely on substandard work arounds.
If your client asks for A PAL DVD, give them what they asked for and convert the assets to PAL.

Hi,
Due to my brother locking me out of my ipod touch I had to wait an hour to log in again. Unfortunately when I did this, I, again put in the wrong password twice more, each time locking me out for a further 60 minutes. On my 3rd attempt to log in the wrong password was entered again. This time though instead of logging me out for another 60mins it now tells me to "connect to itunes" but I have no idea how to do this and I am now unable to use my ipod. I bought an I pad 2 from us but I can not activate the Facetime in UAE(Dubai)as I can not see the country in the I pad's drop list, anyone has an idea as to how to resolve this issue
I'm not that familiar with how FaceTime works. I know how to set It up but I don't use it. I just know that you can't activate in the UAE. I believe that you can activate in any country that permits it's use. Whether you will need a new ID or not, I can't confirm.
You can Google this and get all sorts of articles on workarounds. Apparently if you set up a VPN you can use it in the UAE. Here is one article that I found.

My new iPhone 4S (week old) can't connect to iTunes, App Store or iBooks via Wi-Fi (and some other apps e.g. Hollister – but most of the other apps like Safari or ebay work fine). There is no problem with those apps loading via 3G network. When I turn off the wi-fi, it runs over 3G and i can access App store without any problem. When i turn off the 3G network and turn the Wi-Fi on, those apps like App Store won't work, other apps work fine. When i turn on both Wi-Fi and 3G, the App store (and so on) is also not working, other apps are.
I also found out that when the Wi-fi is on and I sign out my apple ID, the App store starts working! But when I log in again, it will imediatelly stop working. I've tried logging in with others apple IDs, still with the same result. There is no problem with my apple ID account, because it works on my iPad, even via Wi-Fi.
When i first set up my iPhone, there were no complications using App store ia Wi-fi with exactly the same account. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but this problem started when i logged in with my UK account and then wanted to log back in with my Czech account.
I tried turning it off, hard reset and deleting my iPhone several time (even without back up). Nothing worked since then.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Iphone 4s voice to text messaging suddenly stopped working. The little dots that appear while program is preparing to tranfer audio to text shake side to side and no text appear.

When I open iTunes it will automatically go to full screen mode. I can't work out how to turn this off. Only iTunes opens to full screen mode.
Go to System Preferences (under the Apple logo in the menu bar). Choose "General". Click "Always close windows when quitting an application".
That should fix it.
