Pallet Flags for Full Service

I am trying to create pallet flags for a non-palletized mailing. I have used the presort scheme automation letters. I am unable to create pallet flags in the file prep software, which says there are no mother pallets and thus no pallet flags. I need to have pallet flags to go full service.

In addition to what Elector has stated, nowhere does Verizon claim service in all areas. Never has. It is up to you to determine if Verizon's service will provide you the service you need in the areas you require it. If not, you should go with another provider. No provider has the best service in all areas and one persons needs don't necessarily coincide with anyone else's needs.
If you THINK you should be getting service at ALL times and in ALL locations, you should think again what cellular providers are selling. NO provider is selling that service. Simply because you THINK you are paying for an always available service in ALL locations does not mean that IS what you are paying for. IF that is what you want, you need to find another technology because cellular technology cannot do that, at least not at the current time.
In Verizon's coverage maps, it specifically states:
These Coverage Locator maps depict predicted and approximate wireless coverage. The coverage areas shown do not guarantee service availability, and may include locations with limited or no coverage. Even within a coverage area, there are many factors, including customer’s equipment, terrain, proximity to or inside buildings, foliage, and weather that may impact service. Some of the Coverage Areas include networks run by other carriers, the coverage depicted is based on their information and public sources, and we cannot ensure its accuracy.
Nothing in that statement guarantees service in any given location, in fact it points out that locations even in "full coverage" areas may not have service. If that is the case for you and you require service in that area, you should reconsider if Verizon is the provider for you.

  • Deletion flag for service activity numbers

    Hi all,
How to set the deletion flag for the service acitivity numbers in the AC03/AC06.

If the Service Entry Sheet is to be cancelled then go to ML81N and Select PO / SES and Click on "Change" Mode and Go to Menu Service Entry Sheet --> Set Status --> Revoke Acceptance.
The Procedure is Same for Cancelling the Release.
For Deletion of SES Press Shift F2 or Menu Service Entry Sheet --> Delete & Save.

  • Full Service and Palletization

We just started running a job as full service and I have a question.  One of our business partners says that all full service pieces must be on a pallet.  When I run presort palletization, not all the pieces end up on a pallet, because there aren't enough trays to create a pallet.  The biggest problem is the pieces that fall to local entry where we may have several thousand pieces in presorted trays, but no pallet.
I tried setting the minimum pallet size to 1 for the local entry point, but that didn't change anything.  If I remove the automated and regular letter schemes from the presort (with no palletization) then all those pieces fall to single piece rate with will cost us in postage and not be acceptable to the client.
Any ideas on how I should set this up to deal with non-palletized pieces in trays without losing full service?
    Thanks.

I have heard this question more than once, and I keep going back to the Guide to Intelligent Mail Letters and Flats published on the USPS RIBBS website.  I have copied some text below describing the requirements of Full-Service IMb mailings.  There is nothing in the text which requires pieces to be palletized.
    The Full-Service Option
Full-Service option mailings require a unique Intelligent Mail barcode on each mailpiece (see Section 2.4). The
Full-Service option IMb must include the same CASS-certified delivery-point ZIP Code information used to
populate the current POSTNET barcode, a USPS-assigned Mailer ID, the class of mail indicated in a Full-Service
option Service Type Identifier, and the optional endorsement line information in the Barcode Identifier if an
optional endorsement is printed on a flat-sized mailpiece.
The Full-Service IMb's Serial Number field, in conjunction with the mail class and the Mailer ID, is used to make
the IMb unique. Unique, Full-Service IMbs should not be reused for a minimum of 45 days.
Additional Full-Service requirements include the use of an approved electronic method to transmit mailing
documentation to the USPS. This documentation describes, among other things, how mailpieces are linked to
trays or sacks (if mail is prepared using trays or sacks), and to containers (if mail is palletized or placed in other
containers). The electronic documentation must match the preparation of the mail to qualify for the Full-Service
    option.
The FAST system will be used, as defined in the Customer/Supplier Agreement (CSA), to create appointments for
origin-entered mail that is transported by the mailer. The FAST system is also used to schedule appointments for
drop shipment mailings (except for mailings entered at a DDU), which typically do not require a CSA.
Full-Service option requirements also include a unique Intelligent Mail tray barcode (IMtb), when mail is prepared
using trays or sacks, on each handling-unit label, and a unique Intelligent Mail container barcode (IMcb) on labels
placed on pallets or other containers when mail is containerized in that manner.
The guide can be found at http://ribbs.usps.gov/intelligentmail_guides/documents/tech_guides/GuidetoIntelligentMailLettersandFlats.pdf
May I ask your source for the "palletization requirement" for Full-Service IMb?  We have talked to several people at the USPS and none of them have told us that Full-Service IMb requires palletization.

  • Set Deletion Flag for the Preventive Maintenance Order

    Hi,
I need to set the Deletion flag for the Service Order. Deletion flag available in the screen disabled. Please suggest.
also I need know under which I shall be able to set such deletions.
    Thank you,
    Vijaya

    Hi Vijaya,
Pls refer the help.sap.com related to deletion flag for PM/CS Orders. Some of the check criteria mentioned below for your reference.
Before a deletion flag is set, the following requirements must be met:
u2022 Any manually added purchase requisitions or purchase orders for the order must be deleted first.
The balance of the actual costs for the order must be zero. This means that the deletion flag can only be activated if the order has already been settled, or if no actual costs were incurred for the order.
u2022 Commitments relating to the order must be deleted.
u2022 Unprocessed and incorrect goods movements must be processed.
When the deletion flag is activated, all remaining capacity requirements are deleted. A deletion indicator is also set in any open material reservations.
An order that has been flagged for deletion cannot be changed. However, you can cancel the deletion flag.
    Thanks
    Siva

Enjoy purchase orders cannot be put on hold if any of the following
      criteria apply:
o  The PO contains service items
o  The PO contains "third-party" items
      o  Commitment errors are involved

  • Service Accounts for Browser Services and FD Launcher (Full-text Search)

I am setting up SQL Failover Clustering (Version: 2012SP1) on Windows 2012. There are 2 options to configure the service account for Browser Services and FD Launcher :
Option 1) Using separate domain accounts, as what I have done for DB Engine and SQL Agent.
Option 2) accept the default, which is  local service for
    browser, and virtual account for
FD Launcher. Per documentation URL: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143504.aspx
which is the recommended one? is it option 2?
There is security note on above URL as well, but does not clearly mention that option 1 is not recommended.
Security Note:  Always run SQL Server services by using the lowest possible user rights. Use a
    MSA or
virtual account when possible. When MSA and virtual accounts are not possible, use a specific low-privilege user account or domain account instead of a shared account for SQL Server services. Use separate accounts for different SQL Server services. Do not
grant additional permissions to the SQL Server service account or the service groups. Permissions will be granted through group membership or granted directly to a service SID, where a service SID is supported.

    Hi Luo Donghua,
In SQL Server Brower, the default logon account is NT Authority\Local service and cannot be changed during SQL Server setup.SQL Server Browser is not a clustered resource and does
not support failover from one cluster node to the other. SQL Server Browser should be installed and
turned on for each node of the cluster. SQL Server Browser should be run in the security context of a low privileged user to minimize exposure to a malicious attack.
You can change the account after the setup has been completed; For more information, see:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh510203.aspx.
In SQL Server full text filter daemon launcher, on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008, the FDHOST Launcher service account also defaults to LOCAL SERVICE. If you provide a domain account in which to run the FDHOST Launcher service, we highly recommend
that you use a low privilege account. On Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008R2 , we use Virtual Account or Managed Service account(MSA) in FD Launcher . We also need to note the account you used for
FD Launcher should be different from the account that you use for the SQL Server service. For more information, see:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281953(v=sql.100).aspx
So I recommend you use the option 2 to configure the service account for Browser Services and FD Launcher.

  • How long does it take for the phone to get full service after you insert the sim card???

I got my Droid Incredible in the mail today, and inserted the sim card and somehow online I think I deactivated my old phone, and I've been waiting for my new phone to receive full service for maybe over an hour now. I cannot call customer service or anything because both my old and new phone cannot make any calls because neither of them are activated. Please help!

I had a similar issue activating by HTC DNA.  The activation instructions Verizon sends are horrible since they explicitly mention that you do not need to call in to activate your phone.  I left my SIM activation running overnight and it just didn't work.  I finally called Verizon from my work phone the next day and the agent informed me that you do need to call to activate your SIM card.  You will need to have your SIM card ready when you call (to provide the long string of numbers on the back of the card).  Hope this helps!

I just noticed the exact same thing. It turns out that the httpd-ssl.conf file on my system is still the old v2.2 syntax, which means that the SSLMutex directive is still in there. This is an invalid directive after 2.2.
This is where things get interesting. At first, I simply thought I had forgotten to merge httpd-ssl.conf.pacnew after apache had been upgraded to 2.4. However, when I check my pacman.log, it appears that httpd-ssl.conf was never upgraded when apache went to 2.4 - (2.2.26-1 -> 2.4.7-1). There was never a pacnew file generated to be merged.
I took a look at the apache package via the abs and the "proper" httpd-ssl.conf is certainly in there, so why pacman never created a pacnew file is a mystery.
Anyway, to fix this: pull the httpd-ssl.conf from the apache package, either from your cache, using the abs and building it, or (I think) pacman may re-install it if you move the file to a backup location (not sure about this). Then merge your original httpd-ssl-conf with the new one.

  • Display All Marked / Flagged for Follow Up Emails Separately

Display All Marked / Flagged for Follow Up Emails Separately
I was wondering, is there actually a way to display flagged emails in some sort of folder or separate view at least, as it is common within desktop mail applications and any other user interfaces from free email providers like Gmail, Yahoo!, or AOL and the likes?
It's very complicated and not very user friendly to mark an email for follow up, because you need to decide at what point in the future you want to be reminded. When that day arrives and you're not ready to reply yet, you will have to go through each follow up email again and repeat those steps to re-mark them for a later date. And that is really annoying. Or am I missing something here?
Can't I just simply mark my emails, like, star them in order to review them later and to be able to have a look at them from time to time, just like it is possible in other applications or in your browser?
I have noticed that there is an option to star an email within a Gmail account, but I'm not quite convinced that they sync both ways properly anyway. Also, that feature doesn't come with all email services. For example, how would I star an email in my AOL account?
I understand that BlackBerry is not based on IMAP and therefore has its limitations, however, it would be nice if there was another solution for this, or an explanation at least. It's simply impossible to go through hundreds and thousands of emails in order to find a flagged email.
It's already a pain that the emails themselves won't sync (read/unread) with your desktop and other devices, but do you have any advice or workaround to improve the synchronization of flagging or starring?
I have been using BlackBerrys for many years now, and I really still enjoy them, but the fact that it isn't based on IMAP is a big downside and no longer up to date. Times really have changed.
Another thing: When I mark as follow up, the default time always seems to be 5 p.m. -- probably because the calendar day starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 PM by default. I thought changing the "day ends" option would do the trick and also change the default time for the reminder, unfortunately it isn't. Is there another way to change that, or will I have to set the time manually every time?
Your help is very much appreciated.

  • Confirmation of 2 Services for a Service PO

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 3.0, EBP 4.0 ECS.
We create a Service PO in SRM and have 2 Services (items) for the Service PO. While doing confirmation in SRM both the services are available. If we confirm one Service (item) for the full quantity and then go back to the same PO and try to confirm the other Service (item) - it states "PO 35xxxxxxxx contains no items for confirmation". i.e it does not allow us to confirm another service if any of the service (item) has been confirmed for the full quantity.
Note that there is no issue in case of a Goods PO. Also there is no problem if we confirm the full quantity for both the services at one time or have confirmed partial quantity for one service (item). Problem arises only when one service has been confirmed for the full PO quantity.
Any pointers on this will be highly appreicated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Francis

    Hi Muthu,
We have checked and found that these notes have already been implemented. But still the problem persists.
Let me know if there are any other suggestions.

  • Limit PO Err Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services

    Hi,
I am having a problem while replicating free text Limit PO's to R/3 in SRM 4.0 SP 13. The issue is while creating Free Text Limit SC with the  "Confirmation and Invoice" option checked in, the PO's get created in SRM but fails while replicating to R/3 and in RZ20 errors as "Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services" although in vendor master i don't have check for the field "GR-Based Invoice Verification".
On the contrary while creating SC with the "Invoice Only" the PO is successfully replicated to R/3 with item category as B for limit orders.
Now i have noticed if i make changes in the vendor master data i.e. check the flag "GR-Based Invoice Verification" then the PO in my first scenario gets replicated successfully and also with respect to the second scenario but it gets replicated in both the scenarios as item category "D".
As far as SRM standard it should have ideally behave like the below:
Limit SC with GR AND Invoice -> item category D
Limit SC with invoice only -> item category B.
Now my question is why do my PO's fail in R/3 in the first scenario and also if i check the flag in vendor master for GR-Based Invoice verification then in the second scenario the item category is "D" instead of "B".
    Thanks in Advance.
    Best Regards

    Hi Georg,
We don't have any active implementation for the BADI BBP_PO_INBOUND_BADI.

  • Issue when installing SQL Server Express 2012 - "The requested control is not valid for this service" + "Could not find the database engine startup handle"

    Good morning,
    I'm experiencing the following issue when installing Microsoft SQL Server Express 2012 (with tools, SQLEXPRWT_x86_ENU.exe) on the laptop of my company;
Installation goes plain until around the end of the progress bar, it stops on the setup of
    SqlEngineDBStartConfigAction_install_configrc_Cpu32
    giving 7-8 times, even pressing "Cancel", the message "The requested control is not valid for this service";
After this, I receive one last message ""Could not find the database engine startup handle", then installation ends with failures, in particular the Database Engine and the Server Replication failed to be installed.
    I've put in my SkyDrive the error log I received after the install;
I'm at full disposal if you need further information,
    thank you in advance
    Best regards
    Francesco

Well, i just ran into this issue and the problem was lack of admin rights. It was my company's laptop so got the setup initiated by my company's IT team with admin rights. However, the upon completion of setup, i go the same error messages as stated above:
    SqlEngineDBStartConfigAction_install_configrc_Cpu32
    giving 7-8 times, even pressing "Cancel", the message "The requested control is not valid for this service";
After this, I receive one last message ""Could not find the database engine startup handle", then installation ends with failures, in particular the Database Engine and the Server Replication failed to be installed.
Also, if you open SQL Server Configuration, the status of the service is "Change Pending" and you would not be able to set the startup login type to Local Service/System/Network.
Then, I just got my account added as Local Admin and then tried to start the service and was able to.
However, I am not sure whether same was the case for you.
Please mark the answer as helpful if i have answered your query. Thanks and Regards, Kartar Rana

  • Timed out waiting for ccmexec service to be fully operational

We are deploying Windows 7 in an SCCM 2007 R3 SP2 environment.  Some of the clients we target fail the task sequence with the error, "Timed out waiting for ccmexec service to be fully operational".  Below is the relevant part of the SMSTS.LOG
    file:
    Succeeded loading resource DLL 'C:\Windows\system32\CCM\1033\TSRES.DLL'
Failed to create an instance of COM progress UI object. Error code 0x80040154
Timed out waiting for ccmexec service to be fully operational

Failed to wait for Ccmexec service to be fully operational (0x80004005)
I have seen several posts with this error that say to create the "ConfigMgr Remote Control Users" group.
Here is an example.  We have created this group locally AND on the domain, but we still see this failure on about 10% of clients that we target.  Any other ideas what might be creating this issue?
    Thanks,
    FP

After a restart in the task sequence (not the same restart every time) the ccmexec process doesn´t seem to want to start again. The problem is intermittent and does not occure on every installation, though quite frequently.
In the smsts.log you get "waiting for the ccmexec process to start" and "Waiting for CcmExec service to be fully operational", eventually it times out and the installation fails. If we start a command prompt and start the service manually
    the installation continues though.
The strange thing is, this only seems to happen on a specific computer model. We have tried updating BIOS and drivers to the latest version, but no success.
