PALLET PROCESS CONFIGURATION - SAP

Hello Experts,
Greeting.
I would like to know how can we configure the "Pallet" ini SAP.At the current time we are planning to perform goods receipt for production order at individual pallet (One pallet may have 54 boxes ). A pallet label will be printed which contains information like number of boxes, cumulative weight of all boxes.
Please do let me know how can we configure the same in sap?
Any help would be highly appriciated.
Best rgds
Nitin

dear friend,
your MM01' setting could be the following:
Additional data:
Units of measure
1BOX =  1BOX
X EA  = 1 BOX           ( EA -each- put here whatever you need - OPTIONAL)
1 PAL = 54 BOX         ( your pallet equal 54 boxes )
1 LYR = X BOX           (for the palletising process , say , 1 layer of your pallet  has  X boxes - OPTIONAL)
Additional EANs
BOX is ticked and has EAN/UPC number
same for EA (if you need)
doing confirmations in SAP confirm BOXES
usually pallet label has the following info:
-manufacturer name (company)
-batch number
-best before date
-product (material number)
-product description
-quantity
-item number
-prod. day (julian)
-line number
-pallet number
-barcode(s)
some of them are optioanl !
good luck!

    Hi,
    Please find the Letter of credit details
    The configuration is as follows - OVFD, Define and assign payment guarantee, OBYN,OBYH, and OBYK. It is properly working.
    I made all the required transaction VX11N, VXA2, F-36, F-34, F-20
    Letter of Credit: A letter issued by a bank to obtain payment for goods. When a letter of credit is confirmed, the advising bank guarantees payment only if all stipulations in the letter of credit are conformed to exactly.
    1.The importer first request a quote for merchandise. This may or may not include transportation and insurance costs.
    2.The importer prepares a purchase order based on the offer received from the exporter.
    3.The exporter creates a proforma invoice and sends it to importer.
    4.The importer opens a letter of credit with the opening bank in the country of import.
    5.The opening bank sends the letter of credit to the advising bank in the exporters country.
    6.The advising bank advises the exporter that a letter of credit has been opened in his favor.
    7.The exporter ships the merchandise in accordance with the terms stipulated in the LOC.
    8.The exporter gives the documents proving that the shipment was made in conformance with the LOC to the advising bank.
    9.The advising bank pays the exporter based on the documents received.
    10.The advising bank transfers the documents to the opening bank and receives payment.
    11.The opening bank gives the document to the importer.
    12.The importer calculates the duty rates, file the declaration with customs and pays the customs duties within the time frame required by law.
    Hope this will be useful

  • INBOUND MAIL PROCESSING in SAP for Offline ADOBE FORM Concept

    Hi to all,
    Please can anyone tell me, what INBOUND MAIL PROCESSING in SAP for Offline ADOBE FORM?
    What is concept and how to use it, is any program need to write for that or only need to configure it.
    I have searched the SDN, but only get topic how to configure inbound mail processing.
    I am new to this area; please any one put some light on it.
    I shall be thankful to you for this.
    Regards
    Pavneet Rana

    Hi Pavneet,
    Inbound processing of an offline adobe form consists of several things -
    a) an email id to be created on the server (to accept the mail & process the adobe form - this needs to have the right roles)
    b) the smtp config needs to be done by basis
    c) the abap developer needs to create a handler class that gets called when an email is recd in SAP. This handler class has 3-4 methods (first to read the mail and extract the pdf, convert data in pdf to the abap variable, process the form to do the specific function in sap (which will vary from requirement to another).
    I found this blog very useful when I was getting my adobe form done -
    /people/thomas.jung3/blog/2004/09/09/receiving-e-mail-and-processing-it-with-abap--version-610-and-higher
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers, Liz
    (ps: you might get more help in the adobe form specific forum in sdn)

  • Define Tabs and Process Configuration for Template (HAP_TA_CONF)

    I am currently building a new appraisal template for my client and I have configured the process timeline in the development system via the IMG node Define Tabs and Process Configuration for Template (transaction code HAP_TAB_CONF).
    Does anyone know how to transport the tabs and process configuration through the system landscape?
    We are on SAP ECC 6.0 Enhancement Pack 4

    Hi Sushil,
    I have used the report RHMOVE30 as you recommended and it worked perfectly in one run. I did not have to create custom relationships. I simply selected all the Process Item (VH) objects for my appraisal template and ran the report.
    Many thanks for your help. It has saved me having to configure the tabs and process timeline in each client.

  • Define Tabs and Process Configuration for Template

    Hi All
    I would like to give the local HR the ability to define Tabs and Process Configuration for Template
    The only way I can find to create these definitions is using SPRO and I don't want to give HR users SPRO
    Is there a transaction which will allow the HR users to define Tabs and Process Configuration for Template?
    Thanks
    Maya

    You can try this URL:
    http://server.domain:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/hap_configuration?WDCONFIGURATIONID=HAP_AC_TAB_CONF
    Just change server, domain and port to match your SAP instance.

  • Can we configure SAP server installed in RHEL in windows sapmmc?

    Can we configure SAP server installed in RHEL in windows sapmmc(Which is also sap server with same version and same DB)?
    I have tried to configure using help from previous post in SCN ( SAP MMC in one server to control the entrie landscape ) but it is not working...  As picture shown below after entering the details am clicking on add but nothing is happening...
    Scenario is I have installed 4 VM's with SAP installed in all (out of it 3 linux and 1 windows) & all communicating well and they are in same Network/Landscape & I can configure/manage/logon all servers in host GUI... But If I shutdown my VM or a Laptop...  Every time I have to start all the servers... by starting lsnrctl, DB, sap for all the servers,
    Is there any chance to configure sap in windows sapmmc...???
    Kindly suggest the process step by step...
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Yüksel
    Thank you for the reply It helped me to configure but i struck in some place.. Dispatcher is getting stopped... I tried to add 3 different sap servers in sapmmc and tried to start.. Three are getting same errors(Guess same error)
    After your suggestion i was able to configure and start SIDadm of host but immediately or after 30sec Dispatcher gets stopped tried to find out some solutions but didnt worked... But i was able to start from there servers manually in linux way startsap, but not in SAPMMC way...

  • Performance Mgmt - Define tabs and process configuration for templates

    Hi,
    I would like to utlize the feature of process/phase/step configuration for appraisals by the Web Dynpro configuration for tab and process. I choose the "Process Configuration" tab, enter my appraisal template and period, and click "Start Selection". A warning is displayed "No process defined for <my appraisal template>". Clicking on "Add" and no matter what I did, I don't seem to be able to maintain any process/phase/step into the "Configure Available Elements for Process" table. What is the pre-requisite to maintain and configure the Process/Phase/Step(s) ?
    How do I maintain the in preparation, in planning etc statuses in here, I created templates using SAP defined templates for ex: templates for performance feedback etc., statuses are maintained in there by default.
    Can you please suggest anything?
    Thanks
    Murthy

I choose the "Process Configuration" tab, enter my appraisal template and period, and click "Start Selection". A warning is displayed "No process defined for <my appraisal template>". Clicking on "Add" and no matter what I did, I don't seem to be able to maintain any process/phase/step into the "Configure Available Elements for Process" table. What is the pre-requisite to maintain and configure the Process/Phase/Step(s) ?

    Hi Munny, I am experiencing the same condition. I have released my template and when I go thru the IMG to the 'Define Tabs & Process Configuration' selection I get the browser screen for setting up the tabs and process.  I click on the Process tab and see the screen but the New and Delete buttons are not active (grey'ed out).  I toggled my review template (cancelled release and re-released) to see if it changed the symptoms but it did not.
    All - are there other conditions that must be met before setting up the Process steps vis the IMG ?  I have all of the Status/substatus config complete and it shows up in the right side, but I cannot add anything to the left side to define the process.

    You may use customization files (for each env, you should have separate customization file) for replacing env values among envs. Please refer -

  • Approval Process configuration in Change Request Management

    Hello Gurus
    We are currently configuring Change request management. We successfully activated charm, we are now working on approval process of change request management.
    I am following the following sim for the approval process configuration:
    https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700002931432006E.sim
    Can any one please assist us by guiding us on the following things?
    1. From BASIS point of view we have assigned roles to each user as employee e.g. developer charm (SAP_SOAM*) role to developer user\employee in solution manager, still when we are creating tickets then we cant see the options like “in development”, “in process” etc
    2. We are going forward with the default settings can any one tell us if we need to do something extra to get all those options activated like “in process”, “in development” etc
    I am in mid of these configuration settings; please assist me asap if possible.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Sharmishtha

    Hello
    Thanks for your reply,
    I have used BP to create and process change request. Only confused with the standard process and where to look for the change documents, thats the reason i couldnt see the requests and change their status.
    I just want to know if you have customized any thing in to the standard configuration, say for e.g. if you want to add your own actions like in maintenance cycle after requests been released in development if you want to import automatically in QA which happens in case of Urgent corrections. What I need to do if I have to do such settings or change it in my standard configuration.
    How can I change this standard configuration? Anyone has done such kind of customization?
    Thanks for your help and more help on this topic will be appreciated.
    Regards

  • IPC:bute in the field catalogue while processing configuration or pricing i

    Hi,
    I get this error (Message Class: PRC_MESSAGES_EXT (Messages for Calling Public Pricing Modules), Message Type: E, Message Number 099, Message variables: Message variables 1-4: IPC:bute in the field catalogue while processing configuration or pricing in context spe.condmgnt.customizing.dba.imp.AttributeClassObjectManager.createAttributeClassAttributeClassObjectManager.java)
    when we ran IPC userexits.
    We've added a field ZZPSTYV in the communication structure and modified the method to define this field like follows:
         public String[] determineRelevantAttributesForRequirement(
              boolean headerAttributes,
              int reqNo) {                         String[] relevantAttributes = new String[0];
         //Header?
         if (headerAttributes) {          }
         //Item
         else {
         //KOMP fields
         switch (reqNo){
              case 900:                              relevantAttributes = new String[] {"ZZPSTYV" };                                   break;
        return relevantAttributes;
    Running this code we get the above listed error.  Same error if we define unnecessarily a standard field, such as SOLD_TO_PARTY in place of ZZPSTYV.
    Can anyone give us some advise as what we did wrong?  Appreciate it very much,
    Yanhui

    Hi Yanhui,
    Is it a item field?  Remember that mixed fields should be declared at the header in the IPC.
    Missing any other requirements?
    Cheers

  • User is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP as it tries to send an email to a user who have left the company

    Hi Experts,
    I need to remove a name on a group list in Outlook as the user is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP (He sends the invoice for approval and emails get sent to different users for approval.) One of those users has left the company and so the user gets a email delivery failure error.
    How do I remove this user who is no longer with the company?
    The user is saying: When I approve an invoice in SAP it sends an email notification through outlook. One of those users is no longer with the company so it cannot deliver the notification, and in return send a delivery failure (in outlook). I am approving the invoices from my SAP Workplace inbox.
    How do we know what group the email is going to?
    Please let me know if you have seen this issue before. Greatly appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Asad

    Hi,
    Please check whether you are using a custom z program for sending emails of approved invoices to users. If yes then either the user email ids are hardcoded in the program else a ztable is maintained for them.
