Palm, Have a request if you can add the option on webOS 1.4, PLEASE!

Please add a simple feature.. well two.
1) Please allow us to turn off auto-dim. I want my screen on my Pixi to be full blast. You give us these wonderful high-res screens, and they can only be used to their fullest potential during bright lights? Nooo, I want to use 100% brightness (no dimming) all the time. Just give us the option to do so.
2) As an option or whatever, if we put AIM/Yahoo/Gmail accounts on our phone, don't let the contacts show up in the Contacts app. Give us the option to go into the list, and link the contact to the username they own. I have several hundred contacts on yahoo, and I had to create a seperate name with people who sign on all the time just so I didn't have a billion contacts in the contact app.
I'm sure these things aren't hard to impliment. It would be so greatly appreciated if you could do this. It's been talked a lot over at PreCentral.net.
Thanks!

The most likely cause is a problem with Java on your system - older and/or messed up Java installations seems to cause this issue sometimes.
    To fix:
Step 1: Try installing latest Java version. Check your Firefox/system browser plugins from this page, and install latest version: [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Mozilla Plugin Check Page] (also works for most other browsers)
If latest Java (currently "Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U20 - Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_20 for Mozilla browsers") does not fix the problem, you may have more versions installed on your system causing problems for each other. This leads us to -

I keep getting script errors when accessing Amazon Seller merchant pages. I get the following A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: chrome://spautofill/content/spOverlay.js:150, I also get js210 as well. I have cleared all cookies and history and unistalled Firefaox and reinstalled. Been thru my AVS and set the site as trusted in every possible place. Still get the problem. Do not get it with IE on same PC.
== URL of affected sites ==

Same problem but with a different vendor site:
    https://www.webvitamins.com/myfavorites.aspx
Not only does the page hang, but the other tabs also hang.
I contacted the vendor and their reply was "we were told that this looks like a script that is used by "Sticky Password", third-party software that must have been installed on your browser. However, our website did not install it and does not have anything to do with it." As far as I can tell, "Sticky Password" is not installed on my Firefox.
Same problem as above occurs, but with IE 8.0.6001.18702. Therefore, it is not unique to Firefox.
CAUSE DETERMINED: Have determined that this problem only occurs when Kaspersky Password Manager is installed. In Firefox, if the "Password Manager Autofill Engine" add-on is disabled, the problem goes away.

    1. I just installed firefox for the first time - this happens on facebook and many other sites
    2. I have reset firefox - did not fix the problem
    3. I have checked all my extensions and plug ins for up to date
    4. I turned off hardware acceleration
    5. I tried disabling all my plug ins
    6. I used to use firefox, but it started doing this and I was never able to resolve this and went to chrome.
I am using Win 7. No problem, ofr the most part, using IE or Chrome, I just wanted to try firefox again. Does it not work with win 7?

  • Bookmark restore problem: " A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. script: resource://gre/modules/PlacesUtils.jsm:1436"

I'm trying to restore bookmarks from a .json file (as xmarks keeps duplicating and corrupting my list) and Firefox often works really slowly also. I know this as I ususally get a script message errors and option to continue or stop.. In this case with restoring bookmarks everytime I try to restore with my saved .json file I get an interruption, and the message " A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. script: resource://gre/modules/PlacesUtils.jsm:1436" i stop the script (if i continue the same warning comes up) and then get half of my bookmarks restored or similar only if that, and another message telling me FF is unable to process the bookmarks!? I think this unresponsive script is the one that randomly comes up when I'm working FF hard, and causes it to run slowly- or it is a very similar looking message. Any comments and ideas appreciated .
    Running on Macbook pro 2GHz Intel Core 2Duo, 2Gb 667 Mhz DDR2 OS 10.6.8

One other thing....the same script error on Ubuntu Linux 11.10 on my old Dell. And it seems that the backup I thought I had made probably was saved incorrectly, again only half of the bookmarks I had sorted out were created in the file- i should have exported a copy as another safeguard!

I get this message a lot on starting up Firefox and it also comes at times while I am in the midst of an internet session. Firefox starts very, very slowly just before this message surfaces (10 to 15 minutes before I get the opening page). Is this a problem with MS chrome or with Firefox and what can I do about it?
Whether I choose "stop script right now" or "continue" , the problem stays with me. I have tried to restart my computer but this often does not work either. Whether I use Firefox 3.6... or 4.0 beta, I get the problem.
I thought it might be a problem with Sync and I removed this add-on. Still have problem. I also just downloaded McAfee internet security software and I got a message that something called "Radial Point" would interfere with the operation of McAfee. But I cannot find any program or any file in general titled "Radial Point". I have never heard of this before. So, of course, I could not remove this program. Would this be part of my problem?
I have also had a lot of trouble with internet connection on my AT&T dsl service ("high speed internet" they call it). Could it be a connectivity problem and has this anything to do with Firefox? Some of my AT&T problem was solved when the 4th tech to visit my apartment noticed that I had a "2 line filter" and I have only one phone line and one phone jack. But I still get some loss of connectivity after the latest help from AT&T.
Thank you for any help you can offer me.
