Palm M 515 / Desktop 4.1.4 / Calendar week

Hello,
I have Destop 4.1.4 installed.
And I see in the calendar week view in the week 28.12.2008 to 04.01.2009 the week number "0" and in the followiing week the number "1" and so on.
I think thats wrong because in the calendars the week from 28.12.2008 to 04.01.2009 has the week number "1".
The m 515 shows me the right week number.
So it seems to be a problem with the software of the desktop.
Is there anywhere an new version?

Do a sync with the conduits set to handheld overwrites desktop in hotsync manager. See if that will update the calendar in Palm Desktop.

How can I print Calendar week from iPad?

Aside from taking a screen shot of the Calendar in week view and then printing that from the camera roll, you will need a third party app. I have seen this one recommended in the past .... CalPrint for iPad.

• Calendar week numbers in Yosemite do not show entirely in Year View

Sorry to say this but I'm actually a bit shocked at Apple's quality control to be posting this bug. Bugs are one thing but this is, in my view, absolutely unacceptable.
Calendar Week Numbers are truncated in the Year View. Only the first digit is shown, which means it shows week number 1 - 9 correctly, but 10, 11, 12... etc. all show just 1. Week 21, 22, 23... etc. show only 2.
Tried it in a fresh Guest Account, so not an issue with my .plist files or similar.

Doesn't for me unfortunately with the Calendar List hidden, as to be seen below. I think it could have something to do with resolution and screen space of the display, since resizing the window tends to fix it for specific widths and heights. I'm using a Thunderbolt Display with my rMBP.

• How to get first day of calendar week ?

hi,
i'm storing some calendar weeks in my database. for example 30/2013.
How can i get the first day of this week (monday)? in this case it is 22.07.2013
thx
Anja

As far as I know we don't have a function that converts week of a year into date. So you can try something like this.
SQL> with t
2  as
3  (
4  select '30/2013' week_year
5    from dual
6  )
7  select min(dt) week_start_day
8    from (
9           select (level - 1) + to_date('01-01-' || substr(week_year, -4), 'dd-mm-yyyy') dt
10                ,  week_year
11             from t
12          connect
13               by level <=  to_date('31-12-' || substr(week_year, -4), 'dd-mm-yyyy') -
14                            to_date('01-01-' || substr(week_year, -4), 'dd-mm-yyyy') +1
15         )
16   where to_number(to_char(dt, 'iw')) = to_number(substr(week_year, 1, instr(week_year, '/')-1));

• Show more hours in calendar week view!?

How do I show more hours in the calendar week view?
In iOS 6 I could see 10 hours, but in iOS 7 I can only see 8 hours. This might nit seem like a big deal, but it's extremely annoying!
And why can I not alter how many hrs I want to see in the preferences...?

You can turn your iPad to portrait mode but that only gets you 4 more hours. Beyond that I don't think there is a way to increase hours shown.

• Calendar: weekly view

Hi,
I'm wondering if it is possible to view my Calendar weekly or if that option is planned in OS3.0. I don't have enough appointments for a day but way too many for a month
Thanks!

What you see is what is available.
List view.
Day view.
Month view.
There was nothing mentioned about any changes to the Calendar app with Apple's sneak preview for firmware update 3.0.

The calendar week view on my iphone 4s starts on a Sunday. I am synching with outlook on my computer (pc) which starts the week view on a Monday which I prefer. How do I change my iphone calendar view to start the week on a Monday? I am in Australia.
I have just noticed the other discussion points - mine is set to Australia.
Dear Apple - as the day that the week starts on can depend on country and religion - how about making it an option that the user can change????

I believe the week view on the iPhone is handled by the Region settings in the phone. I am not aware of any other manner to change it, as you can with Outlook.

• Differences between the iphone 4s manufactured in calendar week 38 and week 39 is the hombeutton

Hey guys,
as described above, I've found that the quality of the home from c38 and c39 buttons are very different. The home button of the iphone 4s manufacted in the calendar week 38 presses very easy and super responsive and you hear no noise. The phone of the calendar week 39 has a loose homebutton and when you press on the button your hear a louder noise and a click. I'll try to make a video to show it to you.
Anyonone else noticed that kind of differnece?

I believe the week view on the iPhone is handled by the Region settings in the phone. I am not aware of any other manner to change it, as you can with Outlook.

• How can I filter a table by Calendar weeks

I have a table categorised by Category and Name as my primary.
I have added a column with a date range per calendar week.
How can I best setup the table where i can view it in as per schedule calendar week.
Should i create a second table and access the data with a sumif function?
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Chris

Why not just use week number, then you have a single number to work off of for summary and aggregate work on.

• Help to get the correct Calendar Week value as in Outlook Calendars

Hello there,
I am using a Calendar in my application implemented using Java Swing. I have a new requirement to show even the "*Calendar Week*" beside the week row in the first column just like how it is Microsoft Outlook*.
How do I get the Calendar Week. Is there any function in Java? I tried this, but it is not the right value.
import java.util.Calendar;
public class GetWeekOfMonthAndYear {
public static void main(String[] args) {
// create Calendar instance
Calendar now = Calendar.getInstance();
now.set(2010, Calendar.JANUARY, 1);
System.out.println("Date as set about is : "+now.getTime());
System.out.println("Current week of year is : " +now.get(Calendar.WEEK_OF_YEAR));
Output*
Date as set about is : Fri Jan 01 12:17:37 IST 2010
Current week of year is : 53
I am supposed to get "1" as the output but getting 53.
Could you please tell me what went wrong and how do I go about implementing the functionality of Calendar week in our program.

Hi there,
I have changed the Outlook Calendar week settings for 2010 via the following steps;
1. I Opened Outlook application->Tools (menu) -> option to open a dialogue.
2. Click “Calendar options” button from above dialog box. This opens another dialogue box.
3. A field called “First week of year” appears with “Starts on Jan-1” as default value. I selected “First 4-day week".
From then on What was earlier Week 1 for Jan 1 2010 began to appear as Week 53 in Outlook. Hence My program was no more correct.
*+Need some help on how to approach this time of errors.+*What error? I told you that that is how it works. E.g. week 1 in 2010 started on the 4th of Jan in Sweden.
I'm either not understanding your problem, or you aren't understanding that week numbers are calculated in different ways in different parts of the world. Even first day of week isn't the same day for all parts of the world.

• Travel Calendar/Weekly Report/Travel Expense Manager

Hi,
Can any body explain me what is the difference between Travel Calendar, Weekly Report and Travel Expense Manager and for which type of trips i can use teh above forms.
Regards,
Sundar

Hello Sundar,
A detailed explanation can be found in help.sap.com.
Just a short summary:
Travel Calendar
Using this scenario, you can create and change several domestic trips for an employee at the same time. You can not, however, create or change international trips.
Weekly Report
With this entry scenario, you can enter and change weekly reports. Weekly reports always cover a time period of seven days. The system presents weekly reports as week-by-week calendars. The weekly report was designed for entering individual receipts. You can only use the weekly report to enter trips for which you do not want to do per diem settlement of meals or accommodations.
Travel Expense Manager
This scenario is the central entry scenario of Travel Expenses. You can create and change both domestic and international trips for an employee. You can also enter both trip per diems / flat rates and individual receipts.
With this scenario you can change any trip that was recorded using the travel expense manager, the travel calendar or trip advances. You can also use this scenario to change trips that you have transferred to Accounting, Payroll Accounting or data medium exchange. Other than in the travel calendar, you can only edit one trip at a time in this scenario.
