Palm Pre on Go Daddy Accounts (Pop Accounts) - Can't Get It To Work

Question

I have successfully set up both my Gmail and my Comcast accounts to work on my Pre.  However, though the Go Daddy accounts say they are syncing, they do not receive e-mail.  When I send e-mail from this account I get an "Email Application Alert Error sending (e-mail subject)".
My settings match the Go Daddy settings that successfully worked when I set up my Blackberry Storm and match the listings on the Go Daddy site at "http://help.godaddy.com/article/4715?"  They have also worked successfully via Outlook 2007.
Using manual set up I entered:
  Pop
  pop.secureserver.net
  [email protected]
  password
  110
  none
  smtpout.sercureserver.net
  3535
  none
I've done it with user authentication both off and on.  When on, add the [email protected] and password after the outgoing server.  I've changed my password on go daddy and then changed it on the Pre, didn't make it work.  I tried it with SSL on and off, both incoming and outgoing, and changing the ports to match.  Didn't work.   I've experimented with some of my other Go Daddy accounts, and they haven't worked either.  I've entered, and re-entered the password to make sure that wasn't the error.
I'd appreciate some help.  I did search the Go Daddy forums and haven't seen this posted there.

Talonon replied to my question on the Web OS section, and the solution he/she provided below worked for me:
"I'm using godaddy email w/o issue.  Here's the settings I use:
POP
Host: pop.mydomain.com
User: [email protected]
Pass: *****
Port #: 110 
Encryption: None
OUTGOING:
Host: smtpout.secureserver.net
Use Authentication: On
User: [email protected]
Pass: *****
Port #: 465
Encryption: SSL
