Palm Profile-contacts not loading

So I had to get a new Pre today (for the second time in a year) and i logged into my palm profile and all my apps loaded but only one contact loaded (the one contact i memorize-my husband). I have logged onto "my palm profile" here on the website and my current phone is set as primary activated phone, i have gone to the "backup" link and clicked on palm profile, typed in my password and my contacts still arent loading into my phone. does anyone know another way to retrieve my contacts??

Hello and welcome to the forums;
I first apologize for the current issue you are seeing where your contacts did not load, and for needing a replacement. Did you have an online storage account, such as Google or Yahoo? If so, try removing and re-adding that account to get your contacts to reappear.
If you didn't have an online account, I recommend contacting Palm phone tech support, we have methods to re-transfer your information to your replacement device.

Palm profile contacts, calendar etc lost

My Palm Pre (running WebOS 1.4.5) recently became faulty. O2 replaced it with a refurbished Pre.
I'd forgotten my password for my Palm profile, so I was sent an email with a link to reset the password, which I did.
When entering my new password (to use my existing Palm profile), the new Pre complained about not being able to sync my data (or words to that effect). After booting, it seemed that none of my data was present, certainly not my contacts or calendar. Nor did my Pre download the apps that I had previously installed on my old Pre.
I upgraded the firmware on the new Pre to 1.4.5 (as it was running something older than that initially, I forget exactly what). I then fid a "Full Erase", and re-entered my Palm profile details.
This time, it managed to automatically download all the apps I had previously installed. However, still none of my contacts (other than those on my SIM) or calendar are present.
After all that, my question: Can I recover my contacts and calendar information?

Oh dear. Yes, the Palm Profile is supposed to be backed up once every 24 hours or so. It should have stored all your contacts and made them available on your replacement phone. I wish I could help you, but I don't know of any way you can get access to the data stored on your Palm Profile. Really, HP/Palm should give all users access to their Palm Profile data, it's ridiculous that it's otherwise.

All my emails stored in my IMAP Email that were stored in my Thunderbird "Profile" are not loading in my Thunderbird Account.

All my emails that were stored in Thunderbird in IMAP don't not load into my Thunderbird Account anymore.
Although I do not use IMAP anymore, and have not used IMAP for the past 7 months (only use POP), all of my old IMAP Emails would automatically load in my Thunderbird Email Software. Several days ago all the IMAP emails not longer are there. I only get a message saying: "
"Alert from account harrison@---------com: full IMAP support is NOT enabled for this account"
My question is ... I haven't been using IMAP for the past 7 months, and everyday all my previously old emails from IMAP was stored in Thunderbird. Now they are gone. Can you help me retrieve my emails. Perhaps they're still saved in my Thunderbird IMAP Profile on my hard drive? ??? I need help retrieving them!! Please help,

Based on the information you provided it appears you had synchronization enabled for your IMAP account. Synchronization means Thunderbird downloads an offline copy of the messages on the server. That is probably the reason why you were able to access those messages until disaster struck.
I can only speculate what may have happened. The most likely scenario would be that for whatever reason Thunderbird did sync with the server. In your case that means to remove all messages from your local disk, because none were on the server anymore.
Just for the records, leaving messages in that IMAP account was extremely thoughtless. You should have moved all your messages off of the server prior to the 'Local Folders' account prior to canceling the IMAP account. In addition accumulation messages in Inbox for several years isn't best practice.
That obviously won't get your messages back. I guess there isn't much you can do, unless you do have a recent backup of your profile.
Have you checked the file Inbox underneath ImapMail/<account name>? That's were your messages are supposed to be. What's the size of the file? If you haven't compacted folders yet, the deleted messages may still be in there. You can open it with a text editor to check. Make sure to create a backup copy of that file before doing anything else.

Profile pictures not loaded after ios8 update

Hi, I've just updated to iOS 8 on my iPad, and upon opening skype, none of the profile pictures for my contacts have loaded. Since then, I have added 2 people as a contact and their profile pictures load up fine. Is anyone experiencing a similar problem, or have a solution?
So far I have tried rebooting the iPad, deleting the app,rebooting,then re installing. Still nothing.

Same here... On iPad mini 2 (iOS 8.0). Please resolve it. Only a very few people have profile pics, others are blank

And I recently encountered problem of loading the email addresses in Composer window, when trying to compose email from the following steps in Messenger Express: -
1. Upon login, click on Addresses tab.
2. Select addresses by clicking on checkboxes.
3. Click Compose
4. The Compose Message window does not load the selected email addresses in step 2.

1. You do know you're running code that's nearly 2 years old, right? That we've fixed hundreds of bugs since the version you have was released? (more later)
2. Is this a problem for everybody on your system, or just you?
3. Are there any errors logged into the http log that relate?
4. "does not load". Do you get an error, a blank screen, or what? Your posting isn't really detailed.
5. did this ever work?
6. What browser/OS are you using? Is the result different with a different browser?

Windows 8, FireFox ver 26, Contacts not loading

I'm currently using Windows 8 and the latest FireFox version 26.0. When I try to forward an email and click on "To:" the pop-up for loading contacts comes up with a continues circle in the middle of the loading contacts pop-up but my contacts list does not load. This Gmail "To:" option works when using IE with no problems. I tried starting FireFox in safe mode and insured all extensions were disabled and got the same results. This problem started occurring only within the past few days. I didn't have this problem before. I have not upgraded Firefox recently nor have added any extensions or add-ons since last June of 2013. I need some suggestions. Thanks

In case you haven't tried it...
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove your Google cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page, logging in, and trying the button again. Does that help?

My windows 7 administrator profile will not load.

Printer Profile will not Load

Hi,
I am using Windows XP Pro. I have Lightroom version 1.3.1 and I just set up an Epson R2400 printer and loaded the Epson profiles. In LR's Print module when I select Print Job > Profile > Other I can select my printer profile for the paper I want to use, but in LR the selection reverts back to Managed by Printer. Any suggestions?

I'd set up a brand new trial catalog with just a couple of photos. The reason is, printer info is contained in the catalog, not Prefs, as far as I can tell.
From my tiny catalog, I found the following:

So, this tells me what I printed one of the exported files in the previous Catalog. Probably better to start with new catalog that's not an Export in Catalog format, then check to see if there's a file path after trying to hit your custom profiles.
Perhaps a PC person can post the path of his or her custom files from the same source, the catalog. (Onna Mac, I just drag it onto Text Wrangler.)

Moving my palm profile contacts to My Google accounts.

I couldn't find anything relevant on the search option. Is there a simple way to move my contacts from my palm pre profile to my google account? I want to back up my contacts but I don't know how. I use multiple phones but it seems that the pre doesn't play well with others.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After taking forever to start up, I get this pop-up "your profile was not loaded correctly. You have been logged on with a temporary profile. Changes you make will be lost when you log off. Everything is lost. My homepage is I-google if that helps.

You probably can't see the DOS attack on the home hub. If you were using a broadband modem directly connected to your PC, you probably could, with somekind of firewall.
The tricky thing with avoiding DOS attacks is they fake incoming connections that you actually need - so they can't be blocked - or if they're blocked, your services won't work properly. Some routers will automatically stop responding to incoming TCP requests, if they see a flood of them.
In the router configuration, there should be an option to set the router not to respond to pings - or ICMP messages. If someone is attacking you, they may be pinging the router, or pinging something that is letting them know it's you before they commence their attack. The game provider shouldn't be making your address visible to other players. If you think they are, contact the game provider.

Contacts not loading from second iCloud account.

I have two icloud accounts, one for personal, one for work. My home iMac and iPhone and iPad allows me to access both Contacts lists by accessing both accounts. The work iMac on Mountain Lion, will not let me see the Contacts from the personal iCloud even though that accounts is added and the calendars are working. It worked great before the upgrade.

My Macbook profile will not load

My macbook will boot up to the profile login in screen, however when i choose my primary logon and enter the password, it doesn't load my profile. Instead it just stays there for like a minute, then the screen turns blue and then back to the logon screen again...

You might have an older model that came with disks. In that case, put the disk in and boot while holding down the C key. Run Disk Utility from there.

Profile Manager Not Loading - auth_token doesn't exit

We've have an instance of Server 3.1.2 where the Profile Manager login is no longer working, so we are effectively locked out of profile manager for the time being :-(.
On the front-end, visiting the /profilemanager login page redirects to (FQDN in place of our actual domain):
auth?redirect=https://FQDN/devicemanagement/api/authentication/callback
and the page then hangs forever and never gets to the login prompt. Occasionally the login prompt will display but nothing happens after the credentials are entered.
On the back-end, the profile manager log shows the following entries that coincide with the hanging of the login pages:

I had multiple IP's set on my server, which randomly seemed to switch. It seems like there is an incompatibility still between Server Admin and server.app. Since Apple is pressing developers to test server admin and server.app I am confident those problems will resolve eventually, but for now I have deleted all-but-1 IPv4 and 1 IPv6 address (same interface), the networking interface overview for my server within Server Admin was updated and it looks like it works solid now, this was not by design I presume, so this must be another bug plaguing Lion...
After upgrading Postgres to 9.1.3 and upgrading webmail (upgrade: usr/share/webmail) from www.roundcube.net, making a new site webmail.example.com with the files stored in /Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/CustomSitesDefault/webmail/ I made a symbolic link from that 'directory' to the actual built in webmail facility found in /usr/share/webmail by entering the following in terminal.
ln -s -i /usr/share/webmail/ /Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/CustomSitesDefault/webmail/
By doing this it will ask to remove a directory, if you didn't put any important files in there, which I presume you didn't, confirm with the letter y and press enter.
Webmail now works every time the way I want it The same goes for Profile Manager, at least for now...

Facebook sites and profile pages not loading properly. Updated Adobe Flash and Javascript installed. Firefox allowed through firewall. Disabled facebook plugin as throught this would fix it but it didnt. Have windows 7 32 bit laptop

Have tried all of the above but facebook home page working fine but other peoples pages and my profile page is all skewed. Most of it is on the left hand side of the page and script all over the place.
