so yea, everyone has been talking about the discoloration on the palmrest. not only do i have that, but my entire palmrest has gotten really dirty where my hands rest on it (like brown). i have tried EVERYTHING to get it off, even pure alcohol! nothing has seemed to work. i have only had my macbook for about 2 months, so i feel like this shouldn't be happening yet. does anyone else have this problem? if so, what have you done to clean it? thanks.

I'm a perfectionist so I want my white macbook to look like new. I bought the expensive iclear stuff which works really well on the outside, the keyboard and the screen, but it doesn't do all that well with the palm rests, etc. in making it perfect clean. iclear gets it 90% of the way there, but for that last 10%...
For the palm rest and the touchpad, I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I have no idea what is in that sponge, but it wipes away the marks and makes it new again. Do not use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the screen or on the outside, only use it for the palm rest and touchpad and really wring it out so that there is barely any water. I've been doing this once a week for a month now with no unusual wear or anything like that.

If you have the problem in three different browsers, it suggests something "upstream" or shared at the system level, since each has a separate cache and Safari/Chrome use Webkit, not Gecko, as their rendering engine.

I never had problems with my XP laptop to connect to my wireless network on my WRT110 (using Intel Centrino) but my other laptop, a Vostro 1000 used to work when it had Windows XP, now that I've installed Vista it doesn't work anymore, I always get limmited connectivity, not only that but it also drops the internet connection on the router, all other computers wired or not wired loose internet connection, the router also becomes inacessible by wire. I recently installed Windows 7 on a pc that had XP and a Netgear WG311T and the same problem happens, it not only does not acquire an address but kills the router connection, how is that possible?

Would suggest you to try upgrading the firmware of the router & then reset the router in such a way that power light is blinking on the router. Also, try doing a complete network power cycle ie., unplug the power cable from the modem & from the router. Then, plug the power cable to the modem first once the lights are solid green you could plug the power cable to the router & then your issue will be resolved.

That procedure eventually leads you to the need to restore it.
Make sure you are following the instructions in this procedure to the letter. Here they are, with emphasis on some easily overlooked requirements:
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. Under some circumstances (e.g. repeated crashes) Mail may discard the current ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist preferences file and create a new one. This file is where all the account settings are stored. As a result, all your non-.Mac account settings (but not the messages themselves) are lost. If you had a .Mac account, its settings would appear to have been preserved because Mail would set up that account automatically using the System Preferences > .Mac settings.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:

After having fixed all the filesystem issues, if any, and ensuring that there’s enough space available on the startup disk (a few GB, plus the space needed to make a backup copy of the Mail folder), quit Mail if it’s running, and make a backup copy of the ~/Library/Mail folder, e.g. by dragging it to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down, just in case something else goes wrong while trying to solve the problem. This is where all your mail is stored.
You have three options now:
(1) Restore ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist from a backup if you have one. Mail shouldn’t be running while you do this.
(2) Set up your mail accounts again. If given the option to import existing mailboxes or something like that, don’t. Just enter the account information and Mail will automagically rediscover the data in ~/Library/Mail/ when done. You’ll also have to re-configure most of your settings in Mail > Preferences. For spam-related security reasons, the first thing you should do is go to Preferences > Viewing and disable Display remote images in HTML messages if it’s enabled.
(3) Mail may have renamed the old preferences file to com.apple.mail.plist.saved. Given the circumstances, I would expect com.apple.mail.plist.saved to be corrupt, but apparently that often is not the case and the settings can indeed be restored by just renaming it back to com.apple.mail.plist.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

I have been using site at different times from different accounts, and I have used autologin thing.
But when last time I opened the site, for some reason Mozilla automaticly logged in with my very old account.
For some reason in Security -> Passwords - I see only 1 "Login" detail for this site.
Is there any possible way to see all Logins (login information) I have used on this site to log-in?
May be some file folder is recording them?

Printer Sharing Preference Not only unlock but disable Sharing automaticall

I do understand if I am the admin user my printer preference may be unlocked automatically while other user(s) may still see it as 'locked'.
My biggest frustrations with this mac mini is it automatically (based on its own free will) turn my Printer Sharing to 'off' even though I had turn it on a thousand times and locked the preference every time I locked the preference after turned on the sharing option.
Anybody has any idea how to keep the printer sharing option unchanged as I set it.

Yea. The beige G3 does not have native USB ports. Ethernet is quirky with non-native USB.
I had the same problem with similar computers. 'Ended up hooking the printer to the iMac, ... until the printer died!
Maybe someone knows a work-around, but I never found one.
